Love the wide selection they have, went into the store many times and have always been helped by Isenia she wears cat ears and had rainbow hair and is a big help! Anytime I go in I look for her straight away since she is always willing to help me in finding what I need! Definitely coming back here

The service was good here. Everyone asked if I needed help. Their stock was pretty good. They had an advertisement for the new Loki show but really had nothing for it. And as most Hot Topics are it was very cramped. But I liked the store, I like the staff, and they had plenty of deals happening. Plus it was fairly organized and clean.

BEST customer service at this location compared to the other locations I’ve been to! The girl with the rainbow hair and cat ears (forgot her name) is adorable, helped me and my daughter find what we needed, and she is definitely a great site to see for sure! If you are looking for anything definitely come to this location, everyone will be able to help you out for sure!

Probably due to the pandemic, the store isnt as full of items as usual. It made perusing much easier to be honest. Staff was helpful as always and really went above and beyond to help me aquire what I needed...and then some.

Pretty good selection of print shirts and more available size L shirt sizes compared to other hot topics in the San Diego area. This has to be my go to for print shirts as I dont really pay much attention yo other merchandise.

Employers were kind and helpful. I love the covid safety measures taken at this location. To pay theyve placed a kiosk outside the stores to keep the amount of customers inside the store to a minimum. Genius! And its a great way to not overwhelm the employers.

Omg i went there and i mean i go there alot but this time there was this one worker there that was so so so nice, he was so helpful and he saved me so much money because of birthday stuff and coupons. I unfortunately forgot his name, but he was really nice and he said if I could give him a nice reivew it would help alot, and the first thing i said was Oh YEAH i will definitly give u a good reivew. He really deserves it, since I forgot his name this probs wont help him much and if he is reading this im so sorry. But if u r reading this its the girl who came in and bought the Juice WRLD shirt and the cherry chain choker, and i dont know if this would help but you liked my UwU in my email and you liked by stranger things mask. Too many people make the wait line horrendous, I didnt go before covid so Im not sure as to how it was before but man is this place busy all the time now. They have good things, but its pretty small and I think it would be better to go somewhere else, but hey the stuff is good so if youre willing to wait go ahead.

Ive always loved this place for all the quirky, cute stuff they have. They have a lot of unique products, they are a bit pricey but some items are harder to find anywhere else. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

In my opinion, stores like Hot Topic are what make a mall a teen magnet. When I was younger, a similar store at a different mall offered current pop products and while many of the items were vulgar it was the reason so many teens went to the mall. This Hot Topic location has a small footprint and is truly packed with merchandise covering all the latest rages, icons, bands, etc. Come bearing cash because youre not leaving for cheap. To save any money, you gotta buy off the clearance rack or sign up for a promotion. But even then youll be paying far more in the store than you will online. Example: my friends daughter paid $25 for a music band ballcap that was on Amazon for $14. All that said, when you shop at Hot Topic, youre paying a company, paying to employ teens, and doing your part to keep the mall alive... For now. At then end of the day, if you need a Hot gift for a teen, and you need it today, youll find it at Hot Topic.

I normally go to the hot topics in the Chula Vista mall. But I went here to see what they had and they had a large variety of things that the Chula Vista location did not have. Everybody here was very helpful And went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for. And it was a lot easier to maneuver around in this store beings that it was a lot larger. I will definitely be coming back and shopping here again.

I love this Hot topic so much; I know its not the same as it once was, more Anime/Cartoon stuff instead of primarily goth stuff but I do love this place because of their service. The staff is always SUPER friendly and always make sure to say hi and bye to you(except of course if theyre super packed). This store is also amazing because they managed to find my wallet in their inventory after about nine months! I lost my wallet and I was so distraught since it was my favorite anime themed wallet, long story short, they managed to find it in their old inventory that they didnt clean out and managed to contact me through my hot topic card. I love these guys despite the sometimes high prices.

Compared to when I was a teenager this place has gone down instead of metal and rock there is pop rap rock not alot of metal plus they no longer sell music is CD form. Which is why 3 stars
