I will never step foot into this place again. I have been going to various Ace hardware stores for most of my life and have never been treated as poorly as today. I went to purchase a Stihl weed trimmer and as I was looking at the Stihl accessories I was asked if I needed help, I told the lady that I was going to get a weed trimmer but needed to grab a few other things first. I then asked her about some Stihl brand trimmer line which her answer was if you dont see it here then we dont have it. So I go find some other trimmer line that was mildly acceptable and browse for some other items and then go back to get my Stihl. I tell the same lady that Im ready and she informs me that the store closes in 10 minutes and that I cant buy it now. I thought you were getting a cheap one, you should have gotten it earlier she said. Why, if there was a time limit, did you not tell me that when I told you I was getting one or why did she not inquire more about what I was wanting. I understand that the customer is not always right but to disrespect a customer that way was uncalled for and unwarranted. Never again Ritter Lumber, never again.

This rating is for the drive through lumber express. The process is terrible compared to other drive through lumber dealers. Takes forever to get help due to the unorganized process put in place.

Went in looking for mask lil lady went out of her way to find and bring us some very polite very helpful so nice wish I got her name she was working totes and stopped to help us ♥️♥️♥️

Well stocked store with knowledgeable staff. I prefer to go here before I go to the mega stores. I can usually find what I need (95% of the time) and the prices are fair. The store is clean and well organized. Great customer service too.

Lumber and other big items will be loaded directly on your trailers in an indoor facility. You can pick up while it is raining and cover it or put it in an enclosed trailer and never have to load anything. Before you exit one of the employees will check your load and your receipt to make sure you received everything that was on your order. They have a great system and it works well.

Very helpful and friendly. It was easy to find what I needed when a worker asked me what I needed and took me right to where it was.

Love this store! People are friendly and helpful. If you cant find something the staff will point out where it is. Fair prices with a personal touch.

Just phenomenal experiences here, time and time again. Why waste time anywhere else? As soon as you walk in, employees are always ready and waiting to direct you to what your in search of. Easiest and quickest place to get lumber. Also, an authorized Stihl dealer with sales people and a mechanic who knows their stuff! I dont know everyone by name, anyone working there is pretty great, but Dale and Roberto are a couple of good guys that will make sure you leave satisfied. Keep it up Ritter!

Very nice small town hardware store where you can find pretty much anything you need for home and garden. The best paint selection around.

They were kind & helpful as always. I spent over $300 & with a smile on my face. All for a weed eater & things to help make it go a lot easier for me.

Great place, great people and they load the lumber for you meaning you dont have to go find a cart, go find the material, load material, push it up to check out, wait, wait, push it to truck, load said material into truck, drive to job, unload truck.

Great place e a quick run. Prices are a little higher than others but its convenient if your in a hurry.

Helpful employees were there to assist me, you dont get that in big box stores, convenient location close to home.

I live behind Ritter lumber (in Nederland) its not even 5 AM and theres a truck behind Ritter Lumber near residential homes where families are still sleeping! The trucks are supposed to park in front of Ritter Lumber until Ritter opens at 7 AM,two hours from now! It is very intrusive and difficult to sleep when a semi truck has its engine on out side your bedroom window. please take care of this Ritter Lumber thank you. Concerned resident.

Tried to shop local to help our community, but never here again. Stood at paint counter for 5 min and the old lady working never so much as acknowledged me. Was going to buy several gal of paint and I was the only person at the counter. Only 5 between us and it was like i was invisible. Walked out, wont ever walk back in.

Excellent service great products.

I had a floor installed at my house. Ritter came out and measured the room and suggested a certian type of floor. After having it installed 3 months later I had gaps all in the floor. When I called, the installers came back out and said it should not have done that and that Ritters would make it good. It took months before they called me back and told me it was my fault because the room needed to stay at a constant temperture and they would not fix any of it even through they suggest this floor for my room. I will not use Ritter again for any flooring needs. I paid almost $4000. dollors for a room that looks bad.

Terrible, they didnt call us when the closet doors we ordered were in, then...after we called and found out they had arrived two weeks earlier the warehouse people couldnt find them. After griping a bit they appeared. PATHETIC!

There is not a more efficient way to get building material. Pull in, tell them what you want, some guys load it up, you pay for it and youre gone.
