Ive had excellent experiences with this wine shop. I live within the 10 mile range in which they will deliver for free. Since I dont drive, this service is crucial. But the strength of the place isnt the delivery; its the quality and price of the wines (and beer) that they stock.

I look forward to doing more business with him in the future. Not only do they have a great wine selection, but I noticed they have a very intriguing selection of Irish, Scotch and other whiskeys.

Good selection, but Ive purchased a few twelve packs that were just old beer. Are they the Star Market of liquor stores? Expired items at normal prices.

The prices are high which I can understand to a certain extent from a small shop like this but what I cant forgive is the way the service has plummeted recently. My past 3 visits theyve been incredibly rude. One example was I called to inquire when an online order would be ready and was promptly hung up on, called back thinking I had been disconnected and was literally yelled at and told not to call and to wait for an email. I can understand new store hours and new policies with everything going on, but theres no reason to hang up on and yell at a customer for calling to check when an order will be ready for pick up. I will not be returning here again.

Pleasantly surprised with the selection of everything in such a tiny place! A lot of stuff which you cant even find in liquor superstores! Pricing is very reasonable - a little bit higher overall than in large stores, but some cognacs and whiskeys are even cheaper! Definitely worth visiting and shopping!

We have several very good wine stores in Newton, but I travel to Needham because the selection and service at Needham Center Fine Wines are both heads and shoulders above their competitors. There are always interesting new wines from small vineyards and small batch liquors that are hard to find. If I cant get there, they will look at my buying history and hand pick a case of wines for me and deliver. Its really the gold standard for a fine wine and liquor store. If you havent been you will not be disappointed.

Excellent, expert staff and attractive layout with parking right behind store (Chapel St Parking Lot) They even had a friends favorite wine from Jordan! Lots of tastings that keep us learning more about both wines, spirits and beers each time we visit. Pretty good cheese selections and a wide assortment of chocolates and sweets. Theyve also done special orders for us. A high quality, broad selection liquor store in center of downtown Needham.

Very small liquor store in the middle of Needham center.Very pricey collection of various wine and decent beer selection with some selection of cheeses.Staffers act friendly.Store sometimes have wine tastings at various times of the year.It feels like... if you cant afford it, then dont come.There are other stores available in Newton the next town over with better prices and selection.

The staff were both helpful & knowledgeable. It is one of those gem like wine stores where the selection is curated and a touch eccentric. The warren of aisles encourages you to try something new, beguiling you with somber bottles and mysterious names. I would love to have this be my local wine store.

Wow! What a great store. Jacob and Jon are fantastic.We initially went in as they were one of the only stores that stocked a particular Bugey Cerdon Rose we wanted to try. We are now regulars!

An offshoot of the larger Ball Square Liquors. Packs a lot of punch in a small space. Specializes in diverse collection of liquor and craft beer. Somewhat less extensive but still functional wine collection. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. If they can, they will order a missing item, especially if other branches carry it. Perks include Wine of the Month Club (working on beer as well), weekly tastings in each category, limited local delivery and mailing list. Small food section, including cheese, bread, specialty condiments.

Whats to say this place has unique and well known vintages. The owner stocks great wine and great cheese. Theres a reason they get great reviews.
