Best consignment store! High end, quality clothes, shoes, jewelry and handbags. Great deals. The owners, Lauri, Jami and Susan provide such high quality service...its a like a personal shopping experience every time Im in there.

I like spending time here! It’s very welcoming and comfortable, with lots of fabulous clothing, shoes and accessories to check out. I saw things so lightly worn or not at all. The owners know their customers, too. They seemed to know them by name and their tastes. They are very familiar with their inventory and if there is a backstory! I was inspired to bring my own items for consignment and I’m excited to use my credit ;)

As a seasoned consigner/thrifter, I declare 2nd Hand Rose a gem of a store. The ladies who own the store have curated quite a collection of good quality, unique clothing that inspired my wild side. I left the store with a radical crushed lilac pant suit and a comfy, eye catching faux-fur jacket. My friend found a smashing coach purse that she has used every day since. So happy!!! Prices were reasonable and bargaining is welcome.Will return, recommend it for all!

Went to 2nd Hand Rose with my daughter the other day. So many beautiful selections of up to date everyday and holiday clothes. A pleasure to shop there. The staff was welcoming, friendly and able to help find items that might interest me without being overbearing. Great to have such a nice shop in the area. Also, if you want to become a consignor, ask them about that feature.

I had wonderful virtual shopping experience with Lauri! She helped me pick out some lovely new pieces over zoom, and I am super happy with my purchases. She was very professional about dropping them off at my home, and allowed me to try pieces on before deciding on them. She assured me that 2nd Hand Rose has a process for keeping their customers safe at a social distance. I was very pleased with my experience and the quality of merchandise at 2nd Hand Rose!

I love 2nd Hand Rose of Needham! Such a wonderful store with great selection and good prices. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful in their recommendations. Definitely going back next time Im in town.

From the moment I stepped into 2nd hand rose, I felt a sense of exhilaration over the well stocked merchandise, clean and inviting smell of the shop.The staff couldn’t have been nicer. They didn’t hover over me while I shopped and when I asked for assistance, they were knowledgeable about sizes for so many brands. They helped me navigate through the store and encouraged me to try on things, even when I doubted the item would fit. Terrific store, fair prices and chock full of current brands and accessories. It’s one of my favorite shops in Needham.

Super stand offish staff/ownership. Completely turned off the second I walked in with the commentary of the staff in front of clients. Should not assume what someone can or can’t “afford.” Very few higher end designer items. Won’t be back for sure!

This was my first time visiting this consignment store, as I walked in I was immediately acknowledged by one of the employees, Lauri who seemed very pleasant. She asked if there was anything in particular that I was looking for and offered to help me with choosing items based on my fashion sense.I was very open and honest with her when I didn’t like a piece, and she appreciated the honesty and kindlyContinued helping me. Kept referring to me on a first name basis and her level of customer service I was certainly pleased with.However, there was another employee with blonde, curly hair that also began to offer help and the moment I said I didn’t like the item she was immediately standoffish and said “Lauri, I’m going to leave this one up to you.” Completely brushed me off and I felt judged like I wasn’t good enough to be at the store or wasn’t going to buy any merchandise.I ended up buying 5-6 pieces that I truly liked and one particular item a D&G corset top that I take fault for not inspecting, completely left me bruised upon trying it on at home.I went back the following day and the woman with the curly hair was there. Did not say hello, or welcomed me back. I informed her of what was wrong with the item and understood that it was all final sale, but I kindly asked for an exception and that it wouldn’t happen again. She spent about 10-15 minutes literally demeaning me and treating me with much disrespect. I have never felt so uncomfortable, and disappointed at the poor level of service I was receiving.A woman and two of her children walked in and this employee immediately greeted them, and was kinder to the child ignoring my presence all together. They did not end up purchasing anything and she was nicer to them then she remotely to me.Following the exchange of the item that I wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase because it literally bruised me, I kindly mentioned that I have a lot of LVPurses, and other items I’d like to consign. I asked if they did that since I had no knowledge of how they worked or any information. Once again, she made me feel stupid and responded with laughter saying, “You didn’t put it together that this is a consignment store.” I said yes, I didn’t know what the procedure was for how they operated since I had never done something like this before. After that point I had lost respect, any sense of empathy, and was disgusting by her lack of customer service.She spent a good 20 minutes talking my ear off and I just stood there and listened.If it weren’t for Lauri and her help, I most certainly would not step foot in that establishment again.I have over 12 years of customer service experience, private personal assistant for high level professionals and not once have I been made feel so belittled like she did.
