My husband and I went there for about 15 or more years. At one time it was a great place, they knew you by name when they seen you, they were very helpful, showed compassion. But when the older pharmacist retired along came younger pharmacist, with new rude ways and got new young staff. We are seniors and it was very nice when you walk up and get treated like they know you. Now anyway they can make it hard and completecated they do with a free side order of rudeness. The pharmacist wants to tell you what meds your Dr should give you, its ridiculous. We couldnt do it any more feeling harassed we have gone to Mathes and very happy now.
Ive been using Walmart Pharmacy on Grantline Rd in New Albany for several years and they always have my prescriptions ready after I call in for refills. If my Doctor sends a new prescription in they have it ready in a timely manner. I like the staff there. Theyve helped me with issues many times.
Excellent
Ok how wrong i am bout this place.. I get a hard time every month over one of my meds. Very rude ppl.. Non caring.. Im going to b transfering soon. I transfered all my meds to west morlan.. Walmart even put the wrong name on one of my meds.. Very rude staff..
I dropped off script and went back the next day and i still had to wait 20 mins..they said they just got it in but yet was dropped off more than 24 hours. Will not be using Wal-Mart pharmacy again not when there are other pharmacies in town.
I used this pharmacy for a while despite the unfriendly, non helpful pharmacists and staff. The last straw was recently when my daughters doctor emailed them a prescription. I get there and ask about, they tell me no, its not here. I tell them again that it was emailed. Lo and behold, its there. They put it in and inform me that its going to cost $70!!!! Even with my childs insurance! The VERY non helpful girl then rudely suggests I just buy something OTC. Obviously OTC meds havent worked you idiot! They then call the doctor to try to figure something out because I couldnt afford that unless I absolutely had to. After 10 minutes they tell me they cant reach the doctor. Weve already been standing here going thru everything for well over 20 minutes at this point. I tell the girl to go ahead and fill it, Ill just have to pay the $70 because my kid needs it. After ALL of that the girl then informs me that they DONT EVEN HAVE ANY of the medication!!!! Like wow! You couldnt tell me that 20 minutes ago?!I tell the idiot girl to send the damn script to CVS. She then says ok the CVS in Clarksville. Im like omg no! Were in New Albany! Why would you send it to Clarksville??!So we get to CVS and they pull up the script and I ask if its $70. The very polite pharmacist tells me it is but there is a one time coupon she can put in that brought the cost down to $35! The rude morons at Walmart never even mentioned that! That would have been too much for them, Im sure.Needless to say, we use CVS now.
