This is a really nice little ice cream shop. I got a flavor called Kitty, Kitty Bang, Bang. I mean, who could resist that? It features raspberry ripple. Oreo cookie crumbles and chocolate chunks.I usually am disappointed when I try the more unusual flavors, but this was really nice..

This was a lovely ice cream shop in New Albany. The lady that owns the place was so nice and friendly. Not only is the ice cream great with excellent combinations of flavors, the price cant be beat. Also, we loved the inside decor. It was antique and old fashioned, and had an old time local ice cream shop atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Yes, I can, I just wasnt as impressed with what I got as I am when I get the same thing from similar places in the area. Also, the person serving just didnt seem like they wanted to be there or wanted to make anything for us. That was vibe I got. Then, when a customer came in right after us and asked for a shake, they were told they couldnt get one... while standing next to me... while I was holding my shake. The whole experience/vibe from start to finish was awkward and unwelcome. I may be back for another shot at it though, the people we were with like the place, so we might be back with them. Hope that helps.

My family and I visited for the first time tonight. We absolutely will be returning sometime SOON! My husband and I split the flight (8 samples) and every - single - flavor was amazing! We kept saying “this one is my favorite” for every flavor haha! All three kids loved their choices as well. Prices were very reasonable (we’re used to cold stone $$$). The decor is great! Kind of like taking a step back in time. So happy we found this place!

I had been told that this was the cutest and most fun ice cream shop but I had my doubts. I took my daughter and 2 granddaughters here for a treat and what a magical experience! First off it was a cold blustery day so surprise we were the only ones there. The lady (owner?) was so friendly and nice and very happy to let us taste any or all of the many unusual flavors they have. The ice cream is very good and doesn’t seem as expensive as some places. My daughter got her ice cream in a cup and IT WAS A RED ANTIQUE TEA CUP WITH A REAL SPOON!!All the chairs are mismatched and unusual. My 5 year old granddaughter picked the little school chair and was so excited. When you go.. make sure to look around at all the unusual touches.. old Golden Books have the menus inside. And they have a party room upstairs!! You could have your book club meet here or have bunch or Mah-Jung there!!! I will be back. So fun.

Uncommon Cups and Cones is an ecclectic ice cream shop serving up unique ice cream flavors and loads of charm. There were at least 20 flavors and everything we tried was AMAZING (we should know since we got the 8 flavor flight of ice cream). Ice cream was served in a variety of antique cups. The decor was also comprised of vintage finds. The owner was so kind. I highly recommend giving it a try!! Well definitely be back.

My husband and I tried out this place tonight as a fun, spur-of-the-moment Valentines date. Upon entering the shop, we were greeted with a warm, home-y atmosphere. Everything is decorated with whimsical antiques, complete with upholstered mismatched chairs and old picture frames, giving it a kind of old homestead charm. And if course, the ice cream was great! They had a large assortment of flavors, including The Exhausted Parent which has bourbon in it (which my husband tried). We were even served our ice cream in delicate little tea cups (junior-sized scoop)! I cant wait to introduce this place to family and friends!

The best ice cream shop we have found. The banana split were amazing. Out of 4 kids one couldnt finish because she said it was so much ice cream. A good problem to have. Great price, very friendly, cute small shop. We will be back.

WHAT A PLACE!!! This is one of the best ice cream places that I’ve ever been to. Better than Zesto’s! I’m not a decor kind of guy, but it was quite a nice place to enjoy a unique tea cup of ice cream.I had the Exhausted Parent which contains espresso flavors and bourbon. Everything a parent of two boys needs... an upper and a downer.

Such a cute little vintage ice cream shop! We both got the single scoop of cookies and cream in a waffle come for under $10. The single scoop was more than enough! Cant wait to come back.

If you want delicious homemade ice cream, this is the place for you! Ive tried several flavors and loved them all. My favorite is the butter pecan. I also recommend getting the homemade lemonade. My favorite is the pomegranate lemonade and the hibiscus lemonade.

The best ice cream in New Albany is at Uncommon Cups and Cones on Vincennes St. next to Honey Creme Donuts (on the high school side of Honey Creme). The ice cream is delicious, the names of the flavors are hilarious, and the way the place is set up and decorated is like taking a trip back in time. Check it out!

Theres only one negative review for now, but Im sure more will come. Only mentions small serving sizes and price, nothing about everything else that sets the business apart. Its an artisan shop, not a chain store. Youre not getting a logo emblazoned cup with some soft serve and some crumbled up oreos by some kid in high school sponsored by a corporation thats making money no matter what happens. Theyve got tons of flavors and its served with care for presentation, with brilliant service. Its a small place open daily and youre served with a real cup. The owner is involved, and it takes money. Theyve got to keep the ice cream maintained at a constant temperature, clean everything, repair equipment they dont get bulk discounts on. Yes you can probably get more without leaving your car at most other places, but you wont get this experience anywhere else for many miles around.
