Great selection of Hockey Gear, which is the only reason for my visit. Wish they had more composite sticks in stock, but sticks are almost all made in China now, so Bidens cargo ship debacle is the reason for the stock shortage.

Its okay. Stock on website didnt match what was in store. Also depending on what you ate looking for, prices for used may just be as much as new anyways or just a bit cheaper so it doesnt make sense to buy used.

We havent been here in a while since my boys were young. Today we stopped in to see if they had weights and a training bench for my sons 20th birthday. We hit the jack pot!! We found weights and a bench for a fraction what we almost paid for brand new - love gently used! Thank you for helping us carry everything to the van - your friends from Short Stop Chem-Dry!!

Kind of ok location. Prices are good. Owner was very rude though and wasn’t helpful AT ALL. I was looking at used skis, and it was almost like she didn’t want me in her store and didn’t want me to find the skis I needed. She literally seemed bothered by me and I had to seek out the skis myself. Also wouldn’t work on or adjust the skis I had just purchased because they were “used”. So I had to pay top dollar for that at the mountain. She was way more worried about herself than she was anything else. I would not recommend this location just because of the owner alone. I won’t be back. Lucky I’m even giving 2 stars.....

In the past, I have thoroughly enjoyed shopping at this location. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately I will no longer be shopping at this location due to the excessive amount of dog hair all over the store. I had an employee get down some hockey pants high up on and somehow they still had dog hair on them. On a separate visit I was “greeted” by these dogs as I came into the store. I understand that many people are dog lovers. But it made me uncomfortable and forced me to leave without what I needed. If you’re a dog and dog hair lover. Great place to shop. Otherwise I wouldn’t suggest it.

Play It Again Sports - Chesterfield. This location is my go to store for all sports stuff I need, even if that means just tape its well worth the trip. The sales team here is very helpful always giving world class customer service. Nick is always giving awesome advice for equipment. I recommend this store location for anyone who needs anything sports related and great service.

Last night, I stopped here to check out some hockey equipment for my son. He’s just getting into playing hockey and we were kind of at a loss.Blake and Dave were beyond helpful with answering our questions and helping us to find what we were looking for. These guys were a fountain of knowledge and very patient. I really appreciate all the info they gave us. I just went into your chesterfield store today to exchange a hockey stick that my father in law bought for my son. When we got the stick home we realized it was a roller hockey not a ice hockey stick. The employee that helped my father in law told him that stick was for ice and it’s not. The stick is a roller hockey stick not an ice hockey stick. My son can not use it when he starts hockey this week. Your employee was not very helpful when all we wanted to do was exchange the stick for the proper stick. He was like their is nothing we can do for you as you don’t have a receipt for the stick.As I tried to explain to him the stick was a gift to my son. He was unhelpful rude. I would have only given a half of star if that was an option.

This store is an absolute joke!! I sold a couple things hockey related a few weeks back, and when I came in a few days ago the stuff I sold had been up-priced.... Not only did I only get pennies on the dollar for my equipment, but the store completely ripped me off. I will most definitely not be coming back, absolute joke of a store! I would give 0 stars if I could... Have a good time staying in business ripping off your customers.

I was very impressed with customer service here! I have not shopped for skis or ski boots in many years, but Zach, the young man working tonight, was pretty knowledgable and very helpful, pulling down numerous boots for me to try on! The store was well organized and clean! I got the skis (with bindings) and boots for under $200 (thats including the cost to have the bindings fit to the boots). I will be back when I need more sporting equipment!

I went in to the chesterfield location today to sharpen my skates and while I was waiting I picked up a new helmet and visor. The two ladies working were very nice and professional with the help they provided. I had a lot of questions and they answered them all. The manager there gave me a really good deal as well so hats off to chesterfield store. Thank you!

The staff was really nice, and so were the prices. me and my friend wanted to buy hockey stuff and we went in knowing nothing. The guy really helped us out and told us everything we needed to know. i’m pretty sure he gave us a discount too which is awesome. All the sport equipment is set up neat, and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for.

This store is an absolute joke. Went in to look at ski equipment. 2 young workers standing behind counter doing absolutely nothing. Ski boots are stacked on shelves 8 to 12 feet high so a ladder is needed. I spend 20 minutes waiting for help. I just took a nearby ladder and started browsing the inventory. Thats when one of the employees finally came out and told me I need to get off the ladder for insurance purposes. When I asked him how else I am supposed to see if they have anything in the size I needed, he looked at me with a very puzzled expression. Most customer-unfriendly shopping environment I have ever seen. Absolutely no customer service. Good luck staying in business with that crew.

First time joining a drop in adult hockey league and I needed all the gear, I only had skates. I went to this store to get used equipment and was worried I would be stuck with cheap worn options; that was not the case. I was impressed with the options they had. New and used and the used items were for the most part in great condition; some things only used once. Not only that, but I went in with a check list of all the stuff I needed not knowing sizes/fits or anything. The store associate, Jake helped me get the right sizes, made sure I had what I needed, and was finding me good deals and not pushing brand new stuff at me for the sale. He was very patient with me and all of my questions and was also professional. Good place I would say with this experience.

Store ripped me off. Offered me $25 for clubs they said they were going to sell for $80. Saw on the website they are selling for over $200. Theft and fraud. I wouldnt give one star if that was an option.

I got great service! I noticed that the cleats I wanted for my son didnt have laces so they not only gave me laces, the assistant manager laced them up for me.

They are so helpful and went beyond to help me get everything I needed for my son, when I didnt have a clue where to start! Awesome customer experience!!!

I just contacted the store located on 50607 Gratiot Ave in Chesterfield, MI. And had a horrible encounter with the salesperson. I had just called my normal location trying to find baseballs for my son and they were out. So I called Chesterfield. I asked the guy that answered the phone if he had any baseballs and he sarcastically said yes of course we sell baseballs. I told him that I had just contacted another store and they were out. He asked if I wanted new or used and I told him I would take used if they were in good condition. Then he said we would not sell them if they were not in good condition. What a jerk! Im done with your stores. I will just use a coupon and buy new baseballs at Dunhams or Sports Authority. I am definitely posting this experience on my Facebook Page.

You wont get much for your used equipment, but if youre looking to buy new or used, the prices are fair. The staff is knowledgeable, informative and friendly plus dont seem to pressure.
