Inquired about a vehicle online on 10/13/21, made an appointment to see vehicle on 10/15… was driving to dealership, about 1 minute away when salesman called to make sure I was still coming in. Told him I was very close to dealership, he told me he had just pulled the vehicle up to the front. Got there, met with salesperson and introduced myself… he goes and speaks to one of the sales managers and comes back and tells me the vehicle is sold and already delivered… won’t answer why he just told me he pulled it up to the front. Shows me two other similar vehicles, we make a deal on one of them.. I put a small deposit down.. get a call on 10/17 about the approval from bank, had phone on speaker so wife could listen, and repeated everything he told me back to him to confirm details. Never heard back that day, following day I called and text salesman and no response.. call up dealership directly and speak with salesperson… nothing that we spoke about day before was correct, told me I misheard him.. even tho wife also heard and repeated back to him.. cancelled deal with sales manager, manager told me he’d get my refund.. told my card info and told me I was all set. A week later I check and refund never issued, call dealership back and get connected with my original salesperson Roberto, tells me he will speak with cashier and puts me on hold… again, comes back and tells me sorry it’s all set. Still no refund issued, had to call back again and speak directly with cashier because neither before actually did. Very shady operation. Would not recommend. Buyer beware

She made sure to utilize my time and meet all of needs. She taught me about the new features the truck I was looking at had that my previous vehicle didnt. Went in for an oil change and asked them to check everything. They marked the breaks green as in good green on this paperwork and said the truck was in great shape. Brakes were making the worse noise. Turns out I had no brakes and they were just grinding away over extended calipers into my rotors. 2 star cause atleast they appear to have changed the oil. 🤷🏻♂️

I saw a truck online that seemed Reasonably priced. I came From Rhode Island to look at the truck. I test drove it major front end issues. Then I saw another one I liked, both Fords by the way. It was the same issue, on both trucks major front end issues. I then test drove a Chevy Silverado, which I really liked just needs breaks. The price of the Chevy was $36,000 not bad. So I decided to purchase the truck. My salesman was a good enough guy, polite and well mannered. We agreed on the $36,000 and started the paperwork. All I have to say is watch your numbers. They will sell you, the over priced, Extended warranty. Like any other dealership they make commission on it which is fine, people have to make money. After dealing with, 3 different people, saying they have different titles, In reality all are salesman. I signed my paperwork not realizing, they bumped up the price by $2500, Coincidence that’s the cash I was putting down. So after the $595 for “paperwork “ and the Extended warranty $4500 sales tax, Registration fee. The $6500 I put down was gone. I agreed to everything don’t get me wrong, Except for the extra 2500 they bumped up the price without me knowing. Then on top of that it had no inspection sticker. They told me I’m to pay for it and get it done myself, because I live in RI. That’s the first time I ever had to do that in my life. Mind you I’m a Business owner, and buy trucks pretty Frequently. They told my salesman to call me with some lame excuse about my credit that’s why the price went up on the truck lol. Not true called the Finance company. I love the truck it runs good and looks awesome. I’m happy with the truck just not the dealership. I hate when people insult my Intelligence. I’m college educated and run Several businesses. I’m not expecting them to make it right, in the end it’s about the profit not the people. We all know about car dealerships and how they Operate. They agreed to do the breaks on the truck, I’m all set id rather do them my own so they are done right. This is a ongoing sale if they do anything to make it right I will update, but I’m not going to hold my breath. (Watch the numbers)
I have had no dealings with sales, the Service department however as treated me well. They always have availability when other dealers are booked up, they are polite and helpful and go out out of their way to make sure the work gets done promptly and correctly with no hassle over warranty work.

Bought a used q50 from empire. Car presented belt squeal from a known issue with this year and gave empire a tsb for fix. They charged me 100 to fix a car that was sold to me with an issue. Their technicians did not correct the issue. Sales department refuses to correct the issue stating the cost of the fix was then on me, for a car they sold with said issue. They don’t stand behind their cars and they don’t stand behind their work either. Tons of dealerships in mass, buyer beware on any purchases through these crooks. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB

Have purchased several cars in my lifetime and I don’t understand why this dealer will only give you 1 key for your vehicle If you want a 2nd one you have to buy it and they specify this in very tiny print at the bottom of the website. I’ve always received 2 keys with every vehicle I’ve ever purchased Salesman Ryan was very good until we made a statement about something that was broken and we were told that we can’t start knit picking everything that’s wrong with the vehicle which we weren’t doing. Their communication with you isn’t very good either We had to call to find out if the loan went through then several times as to whether they got it registered. But the thing about the key irritated me the most. What a racket.

Went in with my husband to test drive a few trucks we wanted to trade in my car..... we had Kevin P. My husband test drove the truck he liked then we sat down he threw out a number of a monthly payment and we were ok with it! Well he goes to finance and comes back with a payment twice what he had said we said no and got to a reasonable price signed a commitment agreement gave them our info for the loan and three days later we walked away .... he kept pressuring us into the doubled payment and told us our credit score was low which I knew was not true we also had to call and email multiple times a day to check in that’s not too notch customer service at all...we were upfront on what we could afford and I even told him we wanted to trade our other truck in within the year and based on that experience he could have a second sale and return business... we went to another dealership test drive a few more trucks found one we liked and 24hrs later we drove it off the lot no issues and we got our scores from this dealer ... we didn’t have bad credit not even close! If u want to be lied to mislead and screwed over go here!!!

My wife and I went to empire Ford a month ago. We dealt with Ryan Monsegue.He was fantastic during the whole process. We worked a deal and I left a deposit because it was the weekend.Wednesday rolled around and had still not heard from him... Even though I left voice mails and emails for him.We finally got a hold of him on that Friday and found out that I had been turned down for the loan.. Which was fine.What bothers me is that once he realised I wasnt approved he couldnt have been bothered anymore( At least thats the impression that my wife and I got)All I have to say is go to Cape and islands mitsubishi and ask for David or Amalia.They got me exactly what I was looking for and I drove it home days later.

So, the good news is that they found the problem quickly... But only after a $250 diagnostic fee. It would have been very expensive if I wanted to have them fix the problem (it was going to cost an additional $800 in parts and labor to replace two oxygen sensors, which took me 30 minutes to replace at home and cost me $60 total for the two FoMoCo OEM sensors). Although these folks seem to know what theyre talking about, the cost is not worth having them do the work - take it to a local mechanic instead.Id like to add that they werent all that professional when I came to retrieve the car. There was a young lady at the reception/parts sales desk that was very friendly and professional, but two of the mechanics when they were talking to me about the car were swearing and not wearing masks properly (off their nose and kept taking them down below their mouths to talk, entirely defeating the purpose).Overall, I would only go back here if I absolutely needed to, because they do in fact seem to be knowledgeable. Otherwise Im going to be taking it to local mechanics from here on out due to the huge cost of labor.Edit to address the response from the business: I understand that the diagnostic fee is expensive because of the experience of your employees. But even a monkey can turn a wrench to replace an O2 sensor. You unplug the old one, unscrew it, and then screw the new one in, and plug it in. Takes 20 minutes maximum. $800 is just absolutely ridiculous for two oxygen sensors being replaced.

Called earlier to view a used car Id seen on the dealers website. I spoke to very, friendly person that answered the phone, Keri. She put me on hold to confirm with the manager, Paul, that the car was available.and asked me what time Id be in tonight. I wanted to verify it was there before taking 40 minute drive in traffic to head there and 40 back. She did confirm and told me theyd have the car pulled up front and for me to ask for Paul, the business desk manager. She also took my number and name so they would expect me for the vehicle. I showed up 1 hour earlier than I mentioned to be safe and sat down quickly with a sales rep, the showroom was pretty quiet so it was quick someone was available. I sat for a minute with a sales rep that agreed that the car I was looking at had high mileage but in great shape. I started to explain I planned to look at it but had also been ready to put an offer on another I had seen earlier in the day at that I wanted to see what the best price was. He suddenly said he thought the vehicle sold, why not say that up front and get the manager that I asked for in the first place. I said that couldnt be, that Paul the business desk manager was the one I was supposed to see and that I was told they would have the vehicle available and ready to see it. The salesman walked away to confirm with another sales rep and Paul, who by the way never came out to see me and explain how the vehicle sold within 30 minutes of my call confirming it was there and it would be ready for me to see it. I explained my waste of time and that they could have called if that where true. Thats why I called to check it was there and that they offered to have it ready for me. I left frustrated and tried calling Keri back, who I was told was on the other line and I was told and she had no voicemail set up because she was new. I asked then to speak to Paul, the manager she told me she to speak too and I was told he was in and available but yet they transferred into a general mailbox. They where all very dismissive to me. They made no attempt to hold this car for 30 minutes for me to get there, and clearly Keri checked with the business desk manager Paul, who should have come out to see me at the very least after I did an almost a 1.5 hour round trip to see a car that should have been held or they should have asked me for a deposit to hold. No other attempts where made to introduce me to another car either. No call back either from anyone. Lacking customer service. This after Keri the new business person told me they are wonderful and I will like the dealership, so much on my experience. 2 stars because Keri was very nice on the phone at least. Plenty of other better customer service dealers out there.
My 2014 Ford Fiesta was brought to the shop in August 2020 due to a transmission malfunction. We assumed it was the module, but then we were told the berrings needed to be replaced. They promised it was fixed and they had road-tested it. It was returned to me in the exact same condition, indicating that a road test had not been completed. The clutch had also been replaced, which is a hefty fee, and I had not been notified that that was being done - the clutch was not the reason the car had been brought in. The car was returned again to Empire, where it sat for months waiting for berrings that were now backordered. These parts ended up not being necessary and now it needed a new transmission assembly. Another month went by before the issue was fixed. I was not given a loaner until the end, initially being denied one and then not being notified that I had been approved. I finally got the car back in January (but never received the paperwork for those repairs), only for it to again not start after a week. Now it was the starter assembly apparently - they then found that it was, in fact, the transmission module. While some of the people I spoke with were helpful, seemed understanding and caring, and were responsive, there were other times I was in the dark about what was happening or wouldnt receive a return call. There was a lack of communication between staff members, including regarding a loaner and regarding cost - one staff informed me a repair was covered and another said it would be $400, unaware of the previous discussion. The experience was stressful and frustrating. Im lucky I was working from home because without a vehicle for that long, I would have lost my job. I honestly hate giving bad reviews, but my experience was expensive, time-consuming, and extremely inconvenient. Due to not having a vehicle, my husband had to take time off of work for helping me with transportation (again, was not given a loaner and could not afford a rental for that many months). The vehicle needs to be fully diagnosed to ensure that the correct issue is actually being resolved, and the staff need to be true to their word when they say they are going to road test the vehicle.Update: I read the response. We still paid over $2000 for unnecessary repairs, and I never received a final invoice of the repairs to ensure we had not overpaid.

Tried to negotiate a deal with the internet sales team before driving to the dealer. I was completely miss lead with information about current deals and incentives. Wasted my night driving there only to find out all the info i was told either wasn’t true or didn’t apply. They offered me 5k below KBB trade value not up to 5k over like they advertise, they told me it qualifies for 0% but failed to mention only for a term of 36months. Now Im getting response emails from the sales team saying that its my fault because “i wasnt responsive” on some app that i never even communicated on, but I do have the text to prove all the miss leading information I was told. Typical dealer promise the world to get you in the door then stick it to you when you are there. Overall very unhappy with the whole process start to finish and it was a complete waste of my time.
My experience at Ford is almost always a good one (specifically due to Kevin Bancroft, I highly suggest working with him if you have the opportunity- if not, he has a great team he will put you in good hands).Like any car dealership, nobody wants to go, however, since buying my truck in 2018, the service has been great. Even when it’s been busy I feel like a valued customer. I have found that service and parts are reasonably priced. I got a car from them a few months ago. Beautiful new fusion with very low miles. David Shea was a big help. Didn’t pressure me into anything. Overall good experience. Even got me a relatively low monthly payment for still owing lots of money on my mustang. However Janelle is relentless and will harass you if you put your info. When I was originally looking, after I bought the car I got about two calls and voicemails EVERY DAY from her and frequent texts. Now I put in my info again to look at a car for my girlfriend, after she had “taken me off the list” and she starts up again with the constant calls and texts. Even after putting a inactive phone number and saying to contact by email, she somehow found my cell. I advise you not to put your info on their website. They are desperate for sales. If you know what you’re looking for take a trip down there and test drive and check out the cars in person without leaving info until you’re ready to buy.
Went there to sell my car and told the guys over the phone that I have an offer for certain amount of $ already and asked them if they want my car and if they can offer more $$$ for it. Got an offer thousands less than CarMax offered. Lost a half a day and had difficulties getting my keys back to drive my car off their parking lot.Please read the other reviews and stay away from this place.They want you to pay for the coffee at their dealership, while youre waiting.Decide yourself...

Posted price had a lot of fine print. Spent 3-4 hrs haggling; still using the primitive and degrading haggling experience in the current age of naming your price and online research. Its surprising any dealer still does this.Finally got the price that was listed, and the car does not function as advertised. The stow n go seating on this Pacifica does not fold down properly and cannot be used.Very disappointing.

Waste of time and typical dealership games. My mother discussed a deal with Nick made an appointment to meet with him. Upon arriving at the dealership we were handed to a salesman as Nick is internet sales and We would need to deal with the floor salesman . None of the info was recorded. We had to start over in person. We were unable to view the car from the initial deal. Instead the salesman tried sticking my mom in a lesser vehicle. He kept making statements about her credit and telling her what she could afford. When I told him that we appreciated his time but the deal wasn’t going to happen he squared off with me in the lot. Asking who I was and Asked I’d I was a bank. I admittedly lost my temper. When asked for our keys back he attempted to delay. The sales manager tried to save the deal by saying the same lines that nick used when he spoke to my mother. Lots of nice promises. Instead of buying a basic 2020 ranger xl from Empire We went to another dealership and left with a loaded 2020 ranger xlt The other dealership was able to find a deal to fit my mother’s wishes in a respectful manner.

Be careful with these salespeople they are all liars especially management. I identified the rear door rubber was falling off and had rust underneath showed the sales and finance manager together at the vehicle. We all agreed it needed the rust removed repainted and a new rubber gasket. 4 days later we picked up the SUV the rubber gasket didnt look new but they reassured me all the work was done. The next day it fell off during lunch while showing off my new ride at lunch. They didnt fix the rust or repaint it.

Spoke to a salesperson directly about a specific truck and confirmed that it was still available before paying $150 for a round trip ferry from NY and taking off a full day to work to get there just to be told the truck I was there for was sold right before I arrived. They of course had no problem offering to show what other vehicles were on the lot... this dealership are expert bait-and-switchers do your research before dealing with these liars!

We did a factory order for an F250 with Joe. The process was easy and we were pleased with the price as well as trade allowance. Went to a number of other dealers and Joe had the best price right from the start. He was very pleasant to work with and we never felt pressured. At time of delivery Mike assisted us as well as Brice in financing. They made the delivery and paper processing smooth and easy. Mike helped us a lot with getting to know the truck and especially with all the new bluetooth and electronic items.

My last service with them was 8 weeks ago and I did the review for the service. (was good FYI) but I cannot take this incessant emails hounding me for services that have not occurred.... nor when I call them, can anyone stop the emails or even know how the emails go out. PLEASE STOP.........
Not a great experience. Went in to look at a $38k truck and as soon as they found out I had a sizable down payment they tried to up sell me on a 2020 special edition for $65k on a 7 or 8 year loan. The exact opposite of what I wanted. Then I couldn’t even fit a word in to object. Not happy at all and will never go back. Would suggest avoiding at all costs.
I purchased a Ford Explorer Sport model from Aaron M and Kori C who were the most incredible salesmen I have dealt with ever!! They made me feel comfortable throughout the whole ordeal and gave me a better deal on my vehicle out of any dealership around! I drove all the way here from Connecticut, over 2 hours and it was definitely worth the drive! Paul M was also great and I am so grateful to all 3 of guys for making my car purchasing experience stress free!! Thanks guys!! I will be back for sure!! 😉
I have bought a lot of car in my life and I can tell by far this is the worst dealership I have ever had to dealt with. I bought a 2020 Ford Escape which after a month of purchased the car has a major electrical issue, yes on a brand new car. After contact their Service department and spoke with Adam Levandowski he told me they were very busy and no loaners were available for a long while not to mentioned to take my car to another Dealer. I did take the car to another dealer service department and at the end have to drive a broken car back to the original dealer where I purchased the car, this is the first misinformation. I am still in the process of Ford Buying back this car, in another token the sales Department starting with the salesman Joshue and Sales Manager Kevin Bancroft wont lift a finger to help with this process and Kevin Bancroft never even bother to answer my calls or emails. Trust me when I said they will be nice with you while you are in the buying process by God forgive you have an issue, you are on your own, they wont help or answer your call or email and if you go in person they will give you the run around meaning like you dont even exist. Think twice before you buy on this dealership, you will avoid a lot of headaches.NOTE: After posting this bad review Mr Kevin Bancroft contacted Ford Repurchase Department and said the wont provide to me with replacement car after they sold to me a car that came with a manufacturing defect. This is the kind of people you will be dealing with if you purchase a vehicle at this dealership. Make sure the car no issues
I just purchased a 2014 Ford Mustang from this dealership and I could not be happier! Dave the salesman is honest and easy to work with and Megan the finance worker is fantastic as well. She even helped me fix a problem that I had from a previous dealership! I also got what I wanted for my trade and feel I got a fair deal on the car. The service seems great as well - they fixed many things on the car before selling it to me - things I didnt even ask for which was great!
Worked with Mike Mandeville at Empire and he was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Got me into the truck I wanted and made it happen same day as I came from over an hour away. Kevin the manager and the finance staff were also easy to deal with.
Beware!! After re-searching for months for the right car. I responded a web search on an advertised certified 2017 Ford Edge at Empire in New Bedford for $22750 with 37,000 miles. I emailed them a day before to check availability. Within minutes I had confirmation with a phone call that it was available and would I like a VIP test drive? I told the girl on the phone I would be there the next day around 2 or 230pm. Arriving at the dealership the car was sitting out alone against the building, Oh great we thought they are ready for us! Sitting with the pleasant salesman Thomas, we exchanged hellos and shortly he said he will bring the car up for a test drive. This is where the whole experience fell apart.He waves us out to meet him as he started to clean the car of empty water bottles and trash. He chuckles and says the manager has been using it for personal use. Entering the car we notice much more wear and trash as well as cigarette smell and debris. The mileage was much higher than reported, almost 42000 miles. The car drove well. We sat back in the showroom for talk of purchase. The numbers presented by Thomas from the manager did not add up the the advertised price. $23000 plus $3000/cash down, plus certification cost over $1500 = $27500?? If you advertise a price with certification you can’t add that to the cost. The $3,000 cash down is listed in very very fine print on the bottom in the write up on-line, he exclaims. BAIT AND SWITCH. False advertising. Excuse me I said I’ve done enough research and test drives to know this car is not worth $27500. We walked out. Beware of these guys do your research!!!
Blatant deception. Posting incorrect pricing on public websites like autotrader.com...then burying fine print on their own website claiming listed price included large down payment. Wasted hours of my time before the actual price was revealed. Im not one for posting negative online reviews...but these sales practices are from another era.
Ever since Rick purchased this dealership Ive had nothing but extremely great, prompt and courteous service. Paul and Joe worked diligently on fixing a problem that my daughter had with her ford vehicle. They listened to the concerns that my daughter was experiencing and took every step to rectify / fix the issue. They were very focused on provided excellent customer service and I can honestly say that they have succeeded!!! Best experience Ive had a Ford Dealership!! We use to take our company truck to a different Ford dealer for service. We tried out Empire Ford as it is closer to our business for us. Debbie in their service department is awesome! She is always friendly and professional and is so knowledgeable too. We are very happy with their service and will be using them for all our trucks future service needs.
