Absolutely love this place. They have EVERYTHING I need for work. Im a landscaper and almost every week I need something new to do a job. Theyre extremely helpful and nice. They have an amazing selection and have more equipment than I first thought they would. I 100% recommend shopping at Beacon for most equipment needs

Very very disappointed. I’ve been coming here for a couple years with no issue. Very helpful people with great inventory. An associate in the paint department sold me two quarts of the same paint. One for the first and second coats and one for touch ups. The touch up quart was very clearly mixed wrong and no one wanted to do anything about it. In fact, the paint associate with glasses told me it was all my fault and I should have expected a color difference. Again, they were the same color code. Worst customer service I have ever received. Absolutely zero importance to customer care. Not a “hey sorry about that” or any sort of explanation. Very regrettably will never be returning.

Good guys over here, good tools. Friendly, experienced, knowledgeable. I try an go here before I go to big name places.

Not at all impressed. I dont know if hes the owner or what, but he is sarcastic and rude. Almost as if you are bothering him by coming in. Ive had many encounters with him and none of them are ever pleasant. But hey, I work in the trades and sometimes thats how it is. If there was another hardware store though, I would not go back again

This is a good place to get a suggestion of where else to buy what I need. Most of the time, they dont have what I was looking for. But the DIY market doesnt seem to be what theyre geared up for.Still, I do like to try them first, because its a good local business and I do try to shop in them, just on principle. The staff is friendly and knows what theyre doing which is a help, even if I have to go elsewhere to find what I needed.

The Hidden Gem in the North End of New Bedford! If you need it they most likely have it. So glad a friend recommended me. I own a tenement building and this place is been invaluable in the hunt for obscure parts

Im 14 and love to build and help the community in order for me to do this I need materials and tools that I constantly need to buy and usually when I go into a store by my self in constantly harassed but it is not the case here im able to buy the tools and supplies I need without being judged or criticized .the service is also extremely officiant and fast, and has a great variety of tools and hardware...please consider visiting them next time you need tools or hardware i will be visiting them again shortly.

Best place to get any paint or hardware items they even sell snow blowers, stihl chainsaws and other items! Employees are personable and knowledgeable! A++
