As in times past with doing body work on other vehicles owned by me, nothing but top notch service. Noticed an accident to the hood of my car that happened while it in their care and they are going to resolve that issue without hesitation.I love the quality of their work and the staff there is professional and friendly.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I was in an accident, and I have Nationwide Insurance. They recommended me to come here. When I arrived at E&J, my insurance company had arranged for a rental car for me. I was unable to open my drivers side car door due to my accident. When I arrived at E&J, their staff came out to look at my car. They went in and got a tool and did something to my car to make the door able to temporarily open, then told me that I don’t need a rental now. He didn’t ask for my permission, he didn’t do an estimate, he touched my car and did something to it to temporarily make it so that I didn’t need a rental. Who alters a damaged vehicle without telling a person what they’re doing why they’re doing it and without even knowing whether the person has taken pictures. Also, knowing that an official estimate has not been done. Nationwide said that they’ve never encountered this before. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

Great service. My suburban wouldnt start called them right up were there in less then 10 minutes delivered car to Chevy dealership for a reasonable price. Will gladly do business with them again if needed.

For three weeks, I called once every single week, they told me my car would be done next week, for sure. Theyre just putting it back together. After a month there, I finally decided to ask to speak to the man who did my quote (lady behind the desk knew absolutely nothing), complained to him about whats goin on and only after speaking to him, I got my car the next day.

I obtained their services to repaint the finders and front bumper on my Kenworth T680. The paint was starting to chip pretty badly because the previous painter didnt add a clear coat. By the time the professionals at E & J Automotive finished with my truck I wished I had the time for them to paint the entire truck! They did a superb paint job. The work is truly to notch. I found out later that they also did some work on my mothers Nissan Altima and had also done an outstanding job with it. I would highly recommend this location for any body work and paint needs you may have.

My car got damaged at no of fault of mine and E & am took excellent care of me. They provided me a rental and the repair work was exceptional! Thanks again!!

I have a 2019 white vehicle that I noticed recently the paint yellowing. Panicking and not knowing what was causing this I contacted E&J for help. From the conversation on the phone to their help in removing this I couldn’t have been happier. Everyone was so nice and helpful and my car now looks amazing! They explained to me that the water I use to wash my vehicle was causing this due to having well water. This is a top notch business that I will be sure to highly recommend to anyone in the future.

My 2016 Tucson was backed into a half opened garage door. The antenna was knocked loose.Stopped by E & J when I went out for coffee. They looked at it and asked for my keys. The Tucson was taken into a maintenance area and 15 minutes later brought back. The antenna was again where it was susposed to be. I pulled out my credit card. They handed me the key, and said No charge. Have a blessed day.15 minutes to fix what might have taken me hours.Im new in the area, been here about 4 months. E & J goes on my short list of go to places.

Having never been in a wreck that left my vehicle damaged to where it could not be driven, I relied on my insurance company, Liberty Mutual, to guide me through the process. The wreck occurred just after 4PM on Tuesday Nov 10th. The Police department asked who I wanted to tow my vehicle, and said I didnt have any preference (I regret that now). The Police officer told me they have a rotation they use for towing services, so I would assume that this was E&Js time up in the rotation. My vehicle was towed to their shop a couple miles away.My insurance company told me to give E&J verbal authorization to release the vehicle to them and Liberty Mutual would send a 3rd party towing service to take it to the appropriate shop for the insurance adjuster to begin the inspection. I called E&J prior to them closing on Tuesday and gave them over-the-phone authorization to release the vehicle to Liberty Mutual. I also informed E&J that I would be stopping by the following morning to pick up some personal items in the vehicle and removing the license plate (license plate removal also recommended by the insurance company).I got there Wednesday Nov 11th around lunchtime and removed the license plate and got the last of my personal items from the vehicle. This time face-to-face, I gave authorization for them to release the vehicle to Liberty Mutual.I pass by the body shop on my way to work. Returning to work Monday Nov 16th after the weekend, I noticed the vehicle was still on their lot. I called my insurance company and complained that they had not come to pick up my vehicle. The insurance adjust told me they have tried more than once already to pick it up and E&J would not release it to them because I had not given them authorization.I then called E&J and spoke to the same individual from both occasions last Tuesday and Wednesday. I asked if they had any documentation of the insurance company attempting to pick up my vehicle. The individual changed the subject even though I asked multiple times and told him repeatedly that he still hasnt answered my question.Frustrated at this point, I told him that I gave them authorization to release the vehicle to Liberty Mutual on two separate occasions, one was via telephone and the other was in person.I also told him that it seems like they purposefully failed to release the vehicle so it can rack up storage fees on the lot. After I said that, the response seemed almost rehearsed when he told me that I dont have any documentation proving that I told them to release it. Those were the exact words.I called the New Bern Police department front desk and made a complaint suggesting that E&J be removed from their towing rotation after explaining the entire situation. The lady I spoke to at the front desk took my phone number and said shed run it up her chain of command. Seeing as how there was no report number given to me, I am not certain that anything meaningful will happen.This is my life. I am in a rental, and my insurance company is now delayed 6 days in evaluating the damages to my vehicle to see if it is totaled or not. Its not even about me paying the storage fees, because the insurance company will eat that cost. At the very least, this is not how you treat people, at most, they lied to me and the insurance company, committing insurance fraud, which nobody can prove because there is no documentation.Maybe its because they know I am not a paying customer, but I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking towing services.

Took my car to E&J in May 2019My 2014 White Chrysler 300 Uptown Edition was hit by an 18 wheeler when the light turned green at an intersection. There was $7,895 worth of damage done.I always keep my car clean. I wash my car twice a week.When I got my car back Im telling you it looked brand new! I could not even tell after an up close inspection where the original damage had occurred, thats how good it looked.Joe Cramer who I knew from high school, and his team did an EXCELLENT JOB on my car.If you could see the damage when I took it in you wouldnt believe it either.Thank you Joe!!!

Great place to get your vehicle fixed

Took my wifes car down to them. When finished they called and said it was ready. She picks it up. Damage on passenger side fixed properly paint looked great. But I noticed they had not repaired front bumper. So I took a look at the estimate in which insurance was paying. Showed on estimate labor for r/r front bumper cover and overhaul. Along with paint labor. So i knew then it had not been done. Along with wrong clips in fender liners. WHITE CLIPS IN FENDER LINERS AND ITS A BLACK CAR. Talk about miss match. So they said there had been a screw up on insurance end but they would take car of it. Not sure how that could be the case when it was on the estimate to begin with but whatever. She takes it back and they do the repair. She goes to pick it up. Scuff Mark on driver side of bumper. They got irritated when she pointed it out and said they would fix it. Finally got it done. Looks goid but went through hell to get it that way. Never will any of our vehicles return to that place.

Horrible experience. When I got the call to pick up my vehicle the damage was not fixed correct. Note I was told my vehicle came out beautiful from management I refused to take it. There was still damage, not repaired. The whole reason why took it to the shop to begin with. On top of that my vehicle was filthy paint dust inside and out. Some how I had an extra 3miles put on my vehicle that I question and they told me it was from driving around the shop. No way anyone could put 3 miles on it with out leaving property. I have pictures of mileage to prove this with date and times! Nothing but liars that dont care about customers! Seems they want your money and do a half way job and try to get you out! Im very meticulous when it comes to my vehicles. I brought my vehicle in fully clean and detailed. When I finally got it back. It was still dirty. Inside and out and had other damage done to interior the shop said they didnt do. Whe I finally got it home and cleaned it up the way I had it before the shop worked on it. I noticed 2 new dings in the bottom of my rear door, minor but were not there prior to shop working on it. I wish I would of notice it when I picked it up but it was dirty and I was about fed up at that point! Bottom line absolutely horrible experience and I will never do any business with them ever again! Im paying someone else out of pocket to fix dings in door. I would not recommend them to anyone. No stars if I could!! Terrible experience!!

Always treated fairly, honestly, work done as they would do for themselves. No other place would I go in area.

I had some light rear bumper and tail light damage from someone hitting me. The guy who was observing the damage for the estimate asked me if I had ten minutes. I replied yeah no problem, he disappeared back behind the shop in my car and when he emerged my bumper was snapped back into place and all the scuff marks from the impact were all buffed out including the tail light. He left my vehicle and advised me no charge. I felt like he went a tiny bit above and beyond the average customer service standards therefore receiving a 5 star rating. He certainly didnt have to do that. Not all body damage is the same so dont go assuming freebies from this place.

Top notch facility. the people there are awesome to deal with. ive had 2 vehicles with major damage and one that got some scratches caused by a car wash repaired there and the results of there work were amazing. these guys really take pride in there work. ill never go anywhere else!!!!!!!! thanks e&j.

As I sit in the waiting room at E&J Automotive Repair in New Bern this morning, I feel very fortunate that my worries are few compared to a lot of people who come through here. My window will not operate and the kind people here are repairing it for me. They could have made me wait days but I guess they felt sorry for an impatient lady who they refer to as the NOW lady. I was left out when patience was being given. I dont usually do this type of post, but I have nothing else to do for the next hour +. I am just feeling the concern and caring that a lot of businesses seem to be low on. Thank you, Tony and the people behind the scenes and behind the desk for coming to the aid of the NOW lady.Thats all for NOW.

About to be honest with this place here I cant give them any more than a two they are one of the worst places I ever dealt with and the reason I say that is because I cook a vehicle my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica to this place, and they also do automotive and body work and all that type of stuff killing and you name it they try to do it Automotive, but for some particular reason when they worked on my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica they didnt do a hundred percent on it meaning the clear coat that they put on two years two and a half years later started cracking and peeling. And then upon recognizing that I noticed they didnt read badge or Rebrand my vehicle so this is two and a half years later three years. But I have since gotten rid of that vehicle and try not to deal with this place at all.

Had some body work done. Joe did a fantastic job! Communication on the part of the office people was disappointing to say the least.

Repaired rear bumper on my sons Mazda. Poor workmanship. Paint didnt match, left parts off of the new bumper, tail light they replaced didnt match the one that wasnt damaged. Only good thing was that they did deliver when promised.
