This GameStop was my favorite at one point. The staff was always welcoming and helpful. Now I go in and it’s like I’ve walked through the door to the twilight zone. The Employees are still cool (The ones they haven’t run off or fired) but everything else about this business is shady. I went to use my membership only to find out that instead of the the normal 10% off they’re giving out $5 Coupons a month 😂😂. Between the Pops, Statues, Shirts, and Games I spend $150-$200 a month with GameStop. I’ll do the math for you, it means I was saving 15-20 a month. The New Bern store was a great store at one point. It felt like I was with Family when I would frequent the store. Now it just feels like an expensive thrill with no Climax. Smh.

I forgot to leave a review but I went here a while ago and that was one of my best times going to GameStop, he was able to inform you on stuff while making conversation. Excellent customer service !

Staff are extremely rude and unprofessional and dont even know their own policies. Manager Danny and associate Brian were awful and when I asked how to file a complaint and given wrong information, I was told to leave and Danny called the police. Entirely different experience with the store in Havelock where staff were very helpful and pleasant. I think New Bern could definitely benefit from customer service training and Danny has no business being in management. Zero stars if that were an option.I have requested to be contacted by the district manager. IF that ever even happens I will edit this post with an update.

Out of ps4 and 5 controllers and limited stock in everything else

It had a huge variety of games, and even some anime clothing. I recommend going there if you are looking for a certain game

We order a playstation and they said we would geta email withing 24 hours we never got a email they ordered the wrong playstation and they put in the wrong address and all around Ive had a terrible experience with them dont recommend buying for there

One year I called the store see if they had an console in stock and the employee said that they did. I drove 15 minutes or 20 miles one way and they said oh no we are all sold out of them. Just be Honest with me.

Good GameStop. You can tell the people that work here really play a lot of games and seem to enjoy themselves. The person who I believe to be the manager has poked fun at me for not playing enough games before but in fun way. I usually like coming here and just browsing around.

Had great experience they knew exactly what games I was interested in and were able to tell me when the new release was coming out

Dont pre order games they dont hold them for you they sell them

I predict within the year this company will file for bankruptcy. From the moronic cliche staff members who honestly dont know anything except what their told to promote that week, to the overpriced and outdate inventory. Walmart has the exact same things and most of the time cheaper

I just moved to the area and we love gamestop we are big spenders here, but every time I came to this store I always feel unwelcome there. I would love for one visit to be a nice one. Very disappointed in this store.

GameStop is pretty fun to go to in otder to find good PS4 games, they definitely have a great new and pre-owned selection. I bought my new PS4 there, and Bluetooth ps3 wifi headphones, as well as some accessories and wires. All have worked great! Ive bought Call of duty games and No mans sky and a few others for my kids and all worked good whether new or pre owned. The staff that Ive met have been really nice and helpful and gave never treated me bad or rushed me in the store and have always been helpful and knowledgeable.
