Great little organic market right in downtown New Bern! Groceries and health/wellness items, quite nice selection considering its size. I bought basics: eggs, butter, cheese and some Carolina grits. So nice to have these within walking distance of the house where we were staying. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We visit New Vern regularly and will be returning here for sure.

My first time going to this shop was yesterday! They are so helpful kind and have comforting energy. It was like heaven but of organic foods, spices, and health products. HIGHLY highly recommend especially if youre exploring a healthier direction in life.

They seem really laid back. Theyre Knowledgeable. Able to give you good recommendations and they dont try to push unneeded stuff on you. Great people, great place. The prices if your on a budget are kinda ehh But here you get what you pay for. Quality merchandise from good people with a great variety of natural remedies. Ohh and a rewards program!

This store is wonderful! The staff are experts on the items found in the store. I went in to find some relief for migraines. I was given 3 items and told how they worked together to give me relief. This combo was my saving Grace for Fall 2020 and Winter 2021. Each time I am in New Bern I always stop in, even if it is to say hello to the wonderful staff! If you are looking for organic foods and vitamins, this is the go-to place in the area!

Living Well is a wonderful store. The staff is friendly, helpful and always greets you with a smile. They stock vegan products that are hard to find anywhere else. The herb section is the best around, the only place I can find marshmallow root. The vitamin, minerals and supplement section always has what I need. Every time I am downtown New Bern, I go inside just to see whats new.

Super cute, quiet, and get selection. The gluten free selection is massive, dont let the small size fool you. Vitamins, minerals, and other healthy options available as well. Definitely will be going back. Cheers.

Overpriced and expired goods. The owner treats sales persons very horribly. Masks are discouraged. As far as I’m concerned this store is a health hazard, which is sad considering it’s downtown New Berns’ only health food supermarket. Shameful.Staff however is very sweet. I feel sorry for them. They deserve better.

The store looked very nice and so were the employees but no one was wearing a mask in this very small store. Very disappointing for a store that is supposed to promote well-being and health. As soon as I became aware that masks weren’t being worn I left. If the owners of this store don’t care enough about other people’s health by wearing a mask, then I will not be able to give this store my business now or in the future.

Was visiting town and decided to stop in and look around. I thought this store had a good selection of items, including a bulk food section.

The store smells lovely, and I dont have any complaints about the product selection or the service, except that the clerk wasnt wearing a mask, even when she came out from behind the counter.

I absolutely love this store and have been so grateful to have it in New Bern. The staff are very friendly, they know their regular customers by name, and they are willing to add new products to their inventory by request. The selection of natural and organic products is excellent for a small shop. However, I am disappointed that the employees do not wear masks during the Covid 19 pandemic. It is required by executive order 181 for all people who are not members of the same household to wear masks when indoors. Even if the employees have strong immune systems and feel that they are healthy, it comes across as a sign of disrespect toward their customers to not make the gesture of protecting others by wearing a mask. Unfortunately, I am afraid I won’t be able to shop here anymore until there is herd immunity and the mask mandate is lifted. I am really going to miss shopping there every week.

What a wonderful store! Giving their customers the freedom to use their discernment about what is or is not healthy, with or without a mask. This is truly an American store!!!!!!

Nice store, friendly staff (although they don’t wear masks), good variety of organic/specialty items, as well as everyday staples. Very reasonably priced, lower Prices than whole foods on many things. I would definitely recommend checking them out, if you don’t mind shopping somewhere that no one is required to wear a mask during a viral pandemic.

They had a wonderful selection of homeopathic remedies and supplements for great prices and were honest about what items they thought would benefit me, and which ones would not. Wife and i came in to get some skin products. Owner attempted to make us feel guilty for sampling a particular product out of the box. Although she admits that some time ago she ran out of the tester the manufacturer sent to her, she has failed to either reorder them or provide any way for her customers to try the product she is asking them to buy.In the end we just purchased the product to demonstrate our own integrity but left with a very sour taste for this store and its ownership.If you sell cosmetic products for a living provide a way for your customers to sample them. Thats common business sense. And never shame an honest paying customer.

I went here looking for coffee beans. I found that they did carry a little but not exactly what I was looking for. There is a lot of nice selection here, though, for many types of items.
