Had a low speed front end collision on our F150 and ProCare did the repairs under State Farm. They called and said it was ready and sent my wife home while leaking transmission fluid. One would assume any mechanic would know enough to put back or tighten whatever plugs or bolts they took off. But everyone makes mistakes occasionally. The truck finally stopped and stranded my wife. ProCare apologized profusely and had it towed back to fix. They got a transmission company to inspect the transmission to ensure it wasnt damaged. All this with no cost to us (not sure about cost to State Farm). However, the transmission makes funny noises now and its been less than a year. We plan on taking it to that same transmission shop. They were apologetic and took care of it, but will we chance it next time? Not sure yet.
Robert kept me well informed through every step of the process. He is honestly one of the most professional body shop employees that I have ever come across (and I have 12 years in the dealership business). Thanks so much, Robert!
Came to pick up my vehicle and still minor damage had to leave it. Called for a week after they had it the second time and no call back. Finally got a hold of someone to come get it. There to pick up the second time and the car was all muddy on the inside of the drivers side. Not to mention when I looked closer, all the damage wan not repaired. No attention to detail or quality control. Very disappointed.
Repairs took twice as long as they said they would, didnt keep us informed, didnt return calls. Repairs were fine. - Dwain & Debra Baker
They did a great job on the bodywork but somehow managed to kill my battery. Now, nobody can find the jumper, and an hour after I paid I am still sitting here with a dead truck.Update: They did replace my battery, but I ended up being two hours later for work than I had intended. It is also perplexing that replacing the battery was not their first offer. Once you kill a battery, it needs to be replaced whether you can jump it or not. They also tried to tell me they would have to order one and I wouldn’t be able to get my truck back until next week. I had to insist that they go buy a battery right then and there. They do good work, but they have some efficiency and customer service issues.
Inexcusable lack of communication, hood had to be adjusted twice for being put on crooked, tail light not fixed, missing engine cover they said they know nothing about, broken door panel they refuse to fix because we didnt see it at pick up & a toxic chemical angel we cant get rid of from them cleaning it. Was supposed to take a month, too almost 8 weeks.
NOT PROFESSIONAL! I was lied to several times and the person responsible for my repairs and never had accurate information to give me. When I had concerns he dismissed me and denied not doing good work. No integrity at all. Worst business I have ever had to deal with.
Fantastic experience! Took my daughter’s car after she had a fender bender. They seamlessly handled the insurance claim and finished the work in less than a week during Christmas week! They keep you informed all the way through, and the car looks brand new again. I would wholeheartedly recommend them!
Great service. Robert always kept me informed on the progress of service.
I had a great experience working with Robert at Procare. He is very friendly and professional, and kept me updated through every step of the repair process. If I ever need more repairs I hope I will be able to go back to him! My car looks as good as new, and they even washed and vacuumed it out. I would highly recommend anyone who has vehicle damage to use Procare!
We had work done twice, Robert Lopez was very professional and was a great help dealing with the insurance to make sure that the appropriate work was done. Would highly recommend this company.
Manager Robert almost too good to be true.Courteous, professional, and in my case, fast.No tthe usual body shop experience.
Great place! They took me in right away. I will return if I need repairs again.
Very profesional did great work on my car
I recommend this body shop. My husbands vehicle was fixed here a couple weeks ago and clarissa took care of us. I did wait to write a review to see how repairs did and it all turned out great. I appreciate car was fixed and done early. Great customer service. Clarissa was very nice and a pleasure working with. Thank you again!
I took our 2020 Murano for estimate on a Wednesday, returned on Thursday, picked my vehicle up before 10am on Friday. Norma at the front desk was kind and efficient. Eric printed me a copy of the quote, and thats how much it was. Theres no more evidence of that buzzard my husband colided with. Will definitely recommend again! Also, it was nice and clean when I picked it up. Thanks, ProCare, NB.
Couldnt give 5 since my vehicle was considered totaled and they didnt work on. But people service was top notch. They were courteous, friendly, considerate and sincerely concerned when they heard about my accident. That would send me back there if I ever need an auto shop again.
I just picked up my vehicle today. Mark at Procare did a great job making sure I knew what was going on throughout the process. When I called and asked questions, they were more than helpful ensuring that I was satisfied with the response. My vehicle was finished sooner than I anticipated, and was washed and vacuumed which I did not expect. They even let me know I could drop off my rental with them, and enterprise would pick it up from the shop. I hope I don’t ever need a body shop again, but if I do, I will definitely use Procare again.
Manager is very helpful
They called me within 5 min of submitting my claim to insurance. They got my car in right away and texted me daily with updates. They are very thorough in explaining the process and what was done. More importantly they did a great job.
Worst automotive repair shop experience in my life hands down.First, they dragged out the repairs. They said it would have been 2 weeks, and that turned into literally 4 MONTHS! They rushed the paint job causing the bumper and fender paint to appear rough, as well as paint overlapping on the lights and seals. When I brought that up, all they could say was Well, it will never match up to the factory paint when they couldve taken their time since since it had been weeks, at least a month easily it was there the first time. The new grill they had placed wasnt put in all the way and the tabs were overlapping the front bumper.Secondly, They kept telling me were waiting on this last part and it will be done this went on for about three weeks. When I FINALLY got my vehicle back I drove it for 20 minutes and it started to overheat. I took it back after the weekend since theyre closed weekends. They said that the fan they installed was faulty, and would have to be replaced. It took them 2, maybe 3 more weeks to finally get the fan replaced, but hey at least they took their time to make sure it was done right, right? WRONG, which leads me to....Third, I pick up my car after 2 months when I initially took it in for a bumper, radiator, fan and condenser replacement as well as minor paint job. At least its done and fixed, well no more than 30 minutes later my car is overheating AGAIN for a second time. At this point Im aggravated. I call them to inform them of the same issue that hasnt been fixed. They tell me to drive my car back down with overheating issues after I requested a tow. As soon as I pull into the driveway of the shop my car dies. The engine was done, which no surprise there. I felt like I was going to blow a head gasket on MYSELF because its not that hard of a fix.Fourth, when Im there i ask to talk to the mechanic that worked on it, as well as the adjuster/claim estimator. Conveniently, they told me neither of them were employed there at this shop anymore. No wonder because they couldnt get anything right. I asked to talk to the manager and he was also conveniently not at the shop that day, nor any other day I called in or was present in the shop.Fifth, Yes a fifth discrepancy, after many times of them promising to call me to give me updates, there was not once that I was called about updates on my car. So after all this I call in, to find out that they towed my car to the Kia dealership because they obviously had no idea what was going on with my car. Well instead of them calling the dealership and figuring it out, they made me call them to get updates. Well come to find out that it was the thermostat that was faulty.... again the word faulty they throw around when something goes wrong. They literally said It was a faulty thermostat so thats why. It wasnt actually anything we did, it was just from the factory like that, so Kia will be replacing your engine which It never came close to overheating until they worked on my vehicle. Pretty good scape goat to save them money. Conclusion: Taking my car in for repairs at ProCare Collision Center - New Braunfels was the worst decision I couldve made. The transparency of actually what was going on, was awful. The work that they actually do themselves is poor quality. They couldnt figure out what the issue was with the overheating and each time blamed Kias parts. Which even if so, you would think they would do quality check before they returned the car back to me and figure out IT WASNT FIXED. DO NOT GIVE THIS SUB PAR AUTO SHOP YOUR BUSINESS, you will regret it.
Not impressed. Other guys insurance (State Farm) said ProCare was an approved repair facility. So I trailered my Lexus there. ProCare wanted me to have State Farm send ProCare an assignment before they would do an estimate. I wanted ProCare to request the assignment, and I gave ProCare the claim number. In fact, before I trailered my vehicle there, I told ProCare I would NOT do it, and they said they would get a guy in estimating do it. After I went through the trouble of trailering my SUV to ProCare they again told me to call State Farm. They appeared to be just sitting around with no customers playing on the computer. They could have called while I was standing there in the office. Why am I doing their job (setting things up between two affiliated businesses?). State Farm assured me that ProCare could have called as easily as I to get the assignment. Whatever. I took the SUV down to Caliber Collision and they were more than happy to help.
My car was being fixed in this location due hitting a dear on a road trip towards San Antonio. I am originally from El Paso, meaning that I would have to make a trip to New Braunfels in order to pick up my vehicle when ready. After the last update I called and spoke to the front desk employee, young lady and asked her if my vehicle was going to be ready the next Monday from the following weekend. She assured me that at earliest it would be finished on that Monday but could take at most another day. I informed her about my situation and told her that I would have to make sure the vehicle was going to be ready in order for me to make that trip. I asked her and she assured me that it would be done by Monday but at any cost it would be done by Wednesday. I proceeded to ask her again if Wednesday would be a for sure arrival and pick of my vehicle. She assured it would be. I arrived Wednesday after driving 500 miles, and front desk driver said the vehicle was not ready and that it would take maybe two to three more days. I expressed my frustration about the trip made and how she had confirmed that it would be definitely done by Wednesday at the latest. She was very rude and un-professional and told me that it was what it was, that even though she assured me that it was going to be done. She responded like it was not her fault. Even though she was the one who asked for the updates and judged based in the progress of the car that it would be done even two days earlier. She kept insisting that she didn’t care if I made the trip and that it was not gonna be done and I should either stay and get hotels at my own expense or go back to el oso and come back two days later. Takes 1 whole day to drive back. So essential she wanted me to fix it myself because she made and error. At the very least I argued that she could have just informed me before I made my trip to post pone because the vehicle was not going to be ready and said that “to bad to sad”. Her sense of un professional attitude towards a client that spent 400 dollars total to wait for the vehicle to be ready astounded me. If I could give a -5 stars I would.
Friendly, attended to business.
I had a great experience at Procare Automotive in New Braunfels. My car was thouroughly inspected by the manager and processed seamlessly in 3 days. I had a couple of minor dents in my hood and a cracked light but my car was restored to her original look. I really appreciated the text updates I really felt involved. They also washed and waxed her. Im so happy now.
Wont be using them
