Great choices! Wonderful, nice & knowledgeable staff. I have used their curbside pickup as well, and had an issue with my fabric not quite being as much as I wanted and the staff called me to see if I could still use the length of fabric even if it wasnt a full 2 yards (instead of just canceling the fabric bc it was short of what I ordered). I appreciate the extra friendly service.

This was was my first trip to JoAnn Fabrics in New Braunfels. The store was extremely organized and clean. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the cool Halloween items in stock. There’s plenty of fabrics, with vast amounts of prints to choose from. The associates were extremely friendly.

Pros. Staff were fantastic extremely helpful. Large selection of Fabric and Craft supplies.Cons do not sign up for their app. The 40% discount is great but they bombard you with emails. I have tried to unsubscribe 5 times and it has been over a month and Im still receiving 4 emails a week from them.

Friendly cashier, other staff not so helpful. Two different employees seemed bothered when I asked questions about Sales, prices and clearance. Store was very limited on stock and pricing was not posted clearly.

The blonde manager in the fabric cutting section was extremely rude to my Mother when she was trying to buy upholstery fabric. Extremely condescending and over charged us on the fabric because she cant count yards. Find somewhere else to get fabrics, the other place would probably have a better selection. Dont be rude to my Mom.

I came here for yarn and was surprised at how full the store was. Sign on the door said only 25 customers at a time and there were about 35 to 40 people in there. The line to check out was 18 people deep. Honestly, their yarn was a mess, especially in the center aisle bins.Bathrooms were out of soap and the paper towels were jammed.Step things up, Joanns. Theres no reason for basics to be missed and this isnt the first or second time. Yes, Ive informed staff of the issues.Courteous check out and was quick despite the line.

Store manager, Patty Clark needs to provide better management training to her employees regarding store policies and customer service. Patty Clark lacks leadership skills and her understanding of her position as the store manager. I was told Store Manager, Patty Clark, has instructed her employees (MOD) not to bother her on her days off when there is a customer need that the MOD cant resolve.

I feel the credit/return could have taken less time and confusion if the Store Manager, Patty Clark, provided better leadership and training in store policies/returns. Terrible first visit. Only one person checking out so the line you can imagine was rediculously long and slow...and when I finally made it to the counter I had an item without a tag. Instead of the worker looking the item up or calling someone to help assist and track down the price, she looked at me like I needed to go do it. So I did of course but terrible customer service. Ill find a different location to visit next time.

Theyre so diversified they dont have a big selection of anything. Employees shouldnt be texting while on the job. Said employee was texting way to long to be doing inventory and, when I interrupted the cell phone slid right into the pocket.

I went for needles and thread to repair a vintage quilt and came home with rolling cart that was 50% off, some jewelry findings, and my needles and thread. Great staff, awesome coupons. Download the app before going in.

I keep trying to place an order online and it says that due to a high volume my order isn’t going through. Now I completely understand that there is a high volume but what I don’t understand is that why does it have to keep deleting my entire cart and then I have to go back and add the same items again, like common Joanns. You would think that a well established business would have a running website and i might be over reacting but when this has been going on for weeks it gets annoying. Now I don’t know if they are aware of this issue or not but whoever is in charge of their IT department needs to do a better job at maintaining the website.

The store was clean and organized. The staff were friendly, helpful and in good spirits. I really enjoyed this visit because you could tell they were taking precautions and health advise very seriously. There was still a good selection of fabric, they had most everything that I was looking for.

I like the convenience of the store as it is just a few minutes from my house. The line at the checkout tends to be a little long and take longer than I would like at times and occasionally customer service isn’t the best but all in all I like the store and their promotions and deals are pretty good.

Why do all of Joanns coupons limit their use - I get things already on sale or deals but literally everything else is excluded too. You cant use it on anything other than their small items. 50% off coupon cant be used on anything thats tooo expensive or its too good of a deal. Same with ALL of their other coupons go look at the exclusions and post yours too. Its ridiculous. Whats the point if I cant use my coupon on something that really saves me money??? Cant get a real deal on anything here when you know the wholesale cost and how much they mark up their prices. 50% off on air.

They have an app to use coupons and they take competitors coupons! Clearance section is in the back left hand side of the store by the restroom. You’ll have fun shopping here!

I will never forget my experience here. My daughter had a rip in a dance uniform that was already very old, so i went in search if a stretchy royal blue fabric (think of the bloomers you see cheerleaders wear under skirts). This is something wal mart is not going to have. Anyhow i walk in to this store mid afternoon and you should have seen the heads turn. Shoppers literally stopped and looked my way, almost in disbelief. Yes, it was a GUY in a fabric store, and i was the ONLY one!!!I walked to the material counter, showed the young lady a sample of the color i needed. My daughter calls it a gauntlet. I call it similar to the bracelets worn by Wonder Woman. She knew exactly what i needed and walked straight to it saying this is as close to this color i have. Almost a perfect match, and she even found matching thread.So a great experience...but why only 4 stars? I had to buy a minimum amount of the cloth, not just the medium patch size which would have worked. I have enough left over to make a couple of full bloomers, and this material was not cheap. The minimum which i think was a yard plus the thread was over eleven bucks.

Well stocked but they really need more employees. We had to wait in a long line to check out. Only had one cashier who asked for help and never got it even though another employee was within eye shot of the long line. Very poorly managed.

I want to really like this fabric store but I just cannot. Frequently the line to have fabric cut is 6-7 people deep with only one employee to cut fabric while other staff works on stocking. I feel they should come help st the cutting table. Then, you go to check out and wait in a line 8-10 people deep. Again, employees do not come to open check out stations to help speed up the wait. Staff scheduling could be improved as well as staff assignment inside the store.

Never put out new release items. Store is never stocked. Very disappointed

Joann fabric puts small discounts on items so the seemingly great coupons are not that great because the coupon must be used on a regularly priced item.Sales staff very helpful and nice.

Fabric selection is on point here. Even with long lines (COVID-19), the fabric counter goes fast and the employees are very considerate to customers. Visit often, then go eat around the area. Good location 👍

Went in this week and half the customers were not wearing a mask even though the outside sign said it was a must. Employees do NOT enforce mask wearing.

Always see stuff I want

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY. They will process your order and then later only complete half of it---sending you the remaining parts to your craft project, but not the main item due to low supply. The problem is that their online site is not registering that they are out of stock with stuff until youve bought everything. Then they will send an email saying theyve refunded certain things.... What a joke! So upset. I ended up with two colors of fleece fit for the blankets I was going to make but not the printed fleece for each other side.

Make sure you have your receipt!!!!!!! Yesterday I returned three packages of foam padding. I was returning the packages because I found that I had needed a larger size. These packages are twenty five dollars each. With the military discount I paid about $58.00. I miss placed the receipt. I thought that I had thrown it away. I took the item back with the intention of exchanging the smaller foam pads for the larger foam pads. When the cashier rung up the return it came up as only $30. Apparently their policy is that if you dont have a receipt, they only refund the cheapest amount that the item has been in the last month. The were no other options so I had to take a gift card, because they wont refund for cash without a receipt. The next day I found the list receipt under the hall table. When I took it back to get the difference refunded I was told by the cashier then the manager that they couldnt refund the rest of the difference since the item was already refunded the day before. There was NOTHING the store manager could do to override it. So I am out the other $28 and they are out ever having my business again. Might I say I have spent many hundreds of dollars there in the past few months for my photography studio. Hobby Lobby and Michaels will now get the many more hundreds of dollars I will still have to spend.

My co-teacher and I came in to stock Canyon High School Theatre’s new costume space and they did a fabulous job helping us get as close to our budget as possible. We saved SO much with door busters and coupons on the app that we were able to purchase 3 sewing machines and an adjustable dress form! Our students are going to be so excited to learn about the world of sewing/costuming and thanks to JoAnns in New Braunfels they’re going to have plenty of supplies and technology to learn with 😊

Wow! This place is Fun! I do a lot of hand sewing and im always amazed at the variety of craft and decorating supplies available. They always have the threads i need, fabric too.

There wasnt a lot of selection at this location and the prices are very high, but its ok if you can find a good deal. It was a very clean store, but not nearly enough employees as I waited in line for about 15 minutes to buy a few items, since they only had one cashier and one customer had a ton of coupons and had to split her transactions. Overall it was a mediocre experience.

Long wait for fabric cutting, didnt have what I needed, but thwy were helpful in directing me somewhere that did.
