I really used to enjoy coming to this vape shop. Nelson is one of the friendliest and helpful guys you can imagine. Ive been coming a few times a month for a while now, purchasing vape juice, a rig, mods, etc and I chose them initially because of the friendly service and the great selection of vape products.However, the skinny tan girl with the brown hair has a major attitude problem. Since Ive been coming here this girl is extremely rude, or acts like she doesnt want to be there at all. It makes the customer feel like theyre bothering her.She seems like the only bad egg out of the bunch. The blond girl and the two guys are awesome. if the owner sees this, lack of customer service like that is only hurting your business.Ill be choosing another vape shop.

I went and bought a air bar max Saturday, which can last me over a week, every time I purchase I ask to hit it in the store just in case it doesn’t work. This time the puff didn’t hit right, it felt week and they said if it produces smoke it works basically. I don’t understand that because yeah it works but I’m having to hit it extra hard for a normal hit that still feels weak. The moment I hit it it felt like it was gonna die and now here I am Monday night and it dies. I’m honestly upset because what’s the point of checking it in the store if they won’t replace it anyways and now I paid $21 for a weak puff that lasted me 2 days, I could’ve bought one for 10 and had the same results.

Dont know much about CBD knew I needed something for pain and gentleman that was there explained all the different types and gave me his recommendations. What I got helped my family member so will definitely go back when theyre out.

Great place! Great prices! LOCALLY BLOWN ITEMS!!! (Much better than Planet K in terms of prices for the SAME EXACT ITEMS.) Most of the employees are very knowledgeable & super helpful/friendly! You should shop there. Lol.

Ive been going there for over 6yrs and wont go anywhere else for my tobacco items. Theyre very friendly and knowledgeable with the products they carry. I like the fact that they feature a nice selection of local pipes. If you cant find what youre looking for, they can probably find it for you.

Needs more vape stuff but had a good selection

Went last night to get one thing and was making convo with the counter person, Jeremy and OMG, he was sooo helpful!! I inquired about some CBD Gummies that could aid in sleeping for my daughter after we asked our doctor since wed tried other things with no success.He was solo but was still very attentive to others AND myself. After he patiently looked for a specific atomizer for about 15mins (that I even started assisting in the search from what I could read of the labels behind the counter 🤭) he found and she was so very thankful. He came back to me and apologized for having me wait and continued educating me these Gummies I knew nothing about.This morning, my daughter was so happy that she had a full nights sleep and says she hadnt rested like that in a while.Im so very thankful that he was able to recommend something that helped us and was impressed by all the knowledge he was able to provide.If you are having any ailments and havent been able to find a solution, talk about alternatives with a professional and go visit these guys (if they say CBD). Theyre happy to share what they know and really seem to love talking about that knowledge as well as their products!!Thanks again, well be back for sure!!

Ran in to buy 2 puffs Xls- the person behind the counter had me open them and test them to make sure the battery’s weren’t dead on them. He had to open 4 to find 2 that worked. I should have known... 2 days later and both are dead. Owner is clearly Buying Cheap Expired Disposable cigs and selling it like it’s fresh stock. Buyer beware. Personally I’ll never go there again-

Amsterdam Smoke Shop is a very kewl place for your personal needs. Cigarette prices are not the lowest but come 3rd if I need any. I primarily go there for my vaping needs to which I am content. Could be a better selection but they have so much kewl stuff!!

Unfortunately, the reviews about the disposable vapes are correct. I bought over 30$ worth for 2 and both are dead the 2nd day. Nice people but old product i guess.

Read attached notes in pics. It says it all. Nothings more frustrating as a customer than to have a favorite locale of a specific business let you down by not honoring a sign that they themselves put up. Twice I have encountered this- one at each location. Thats too bad, too, because the staff, including the owner, are awesome! Theyre friendly, informative, and helpful ALL THE TIME. But one has to ask: how good is a business if the employees arent always there when theyre supposed to be?! Ill give them this though, they are the cheapest vape juices anywhere and have the largest CBD collection anywhere.

Charges double price of what should be.FOR EXAMPLEI purchased a Smok Novo X and was charged $65?Look anywhere else and it is half of that.AT LEAST $25 less.I really think it depends on who is working, because a few months back, I purchased a smok novo 2, and was charged appropriately.

I bought two Pina Colada Puff Bars from this store, the best part was the fact that they immediately acknowledged i was in a hurry and i was able to buy two for less than 20 dollars! I swear I have bought a puff before for atleast 50 before, anyway I will definitely be coming back and I most appreciate the guy named Adam. He was a genuine guy, who helped a ton!

My first visit to Amsterdam smoke shop was just to buy 3 packs of rolling papers. The following day, I checked my bank account and realized I was overcharged. I called and spoke with the owner, Moin (I apologize if the spelling is incorrect). This guy went above and beyond to make it right! I was so impressed by his willingness from the start to sort it all out even though I did not have a receipt. I will definitely be returning to shop and I highly recommend this shop for the simple fact they actually care about their customers. Their attitude is very very different than most smoke shops Ive visted.

Very knowledgeable friendly service!! Hard to know what exactly the store is since the outside looks like a rundown house in the middle of town. More signage and paint would do wonders for visitors to the area.

Cant really say much good or bad about it. The associate was finishing up with someone else at the counter so I waited back for a second, and when they finished up I walked over as I had some questions. At first the girl didnt even make eye contact or look up at all at me and I was trying to explain I wasnt really sure what I was looking for but I wanted to look into a cbd vape or something similar. She said I have disposables down there and pointed to a locked case full of cbd products. At this point I didnt feel like asking her about the cbd vape juices or anything else since she already seemed dismissive and like she didnt really care. When I decided to get something anyway she seemed annoyed that she had to come over and unlock the case for me. Then while she was processing my payment she started poking at her phone. It wouldnt have bothered me if she was on her phone while I were looking around but we were both standing right there waiting for the payment to process, a little small talk would have made a much better impact in my opinion.She wasnt overly rude but I thought her customer service could use a little work. Overall they do have a nice selection of products, I didnt look over the glass or anything else too much since I didnt spend too much time in there but even in the cbd case they had a lot of products, some Im familiar with which are really high quality and they seemed reasonably priced. It was a little cramped in there, but Im not sure how much they could do about that in such a tiny building.

I was very impressed with the shop. Its sort of small, but its a cozy small, its very clean, and fragrant! Their CBD products are kept entirely separate from all of the smoking and vaping products. I went in out of curiosity about CBD oil. I was attended to promptly as soon as I described my symptoms. The product and its dosage that was selected for me is the optimum. I cant address their pricing as they have so little competition. They do carry the gummies and tinctures, but the oil is still the best formulation.

If I could have chosen ZERO stars & written a review I would have! Ive been in the vape store a few times previously. Usually with an acquaintance who thats the only place she goes. Swears by it, & she loves the place. My usual store STOGIES didnt have the coil I needed and I knew from my acquaintance that Amsterdam would have the coil I needed. Ive been vaping several years now & been to many vape shops, and can honestly say the experience was the epitome of an actual open functioning business!!!!! I walked in and there wasnt anyone else there. Working there was a young girl (and Yes, I am using the term Girl) that was behind the counter, very white blonde hair. Sitting on a stool with her feet up on the counter on her phone. Zero acknowledgement when I came in. I actually had to ask for the coil I needed. Body language says it all! I apologize for interrupting your phone, Facebook time or whatever it is you were doing on your phone to assist me! Only having the vape I have a short while I told her what kind of vape I have and she ever so kindly sarcastically & snippy corrected my pronunciation. I decided to only get 1 coil to hurry up & get out of there. I made the mistake of also asking if they had any round rubber bumpers for my vape. I wasnt sure what the were called since I have always had a more complicated device until recently. She gladly corrected me on that also. She grabbed a bucket of them and said what color? I asked for black, she reached in & grabbed a black one. I then said, may I have two? I use two on my device. Sorry to put you out to reach in to get another. She rang me up and my total was close to $10. I asked how much the coil was & it was around $3.95 or so, then she advised me that the little rubber bands were 2 for $5! Holy Cow! Last time I was in there with my acquaintance they certainly were NOT that much. More like $.25 or 2/ $1 certainly not 2 for $5. Ok, whatever, I just wanted to leave. My simple stop to get just some coils was a nightmare! I havent EVER had such a horrible experience in such a shot amount of time for something so simple! So little girl, stay on your perch with your phone entertainment and I apologize for disturbing you. After the many vape stores I have been in, I will definitely let all my friends, co-workers & fellow vapers my experience if its worth my time. I may just say, nah, dont bother going to Amsterdam and save my breath. The funny thing is, I never write reviews, but this I felt needed to be out there!Apparently only positive reviews are welcome, based on the response of my review, from the owner Adam. Having been in the Customer Service Industry over 25 years if a customer has a bad experience, usually the owner would like to know about it since FIRST impressions mean a lot to a business. When reading the reply and how defensive the owner got defending his employee is rather unusual. This was the first time I had been in the shop alone. First impressions are just that, FIRST impressions. You dont get a chance to make a second impression. Telling someone who took the time to write a review about their experience that the employee is a really nice person, and to just ask her/the employee is rhetorical of the opinion to rate the business experience. Its a good thing I work for a company that has hundreds of employees, that I will gladly share my experience. By the response of the owner defending the employees attitude instead of taking the opportunity to possibly correct the experience. As I mentioned in my initial review, I dont usually write reviews but my experience compelled me to do so. The reply by the owner only solidifies my experience. New Braunfels being a tourist town, and just not too long ago obtaining ahigher paying job with a new company there. Im certainly going to make sure I have what I need at all times before leaving San Marcos for New Braunfels.
