My first time picking up from this location. They need to find a more effective method when picking up online orders. I waited ten minutes for another associate to bring my merchandise to me, that was ridiculous; never had to wait at other locations. I won’t be using this location again.

Two stars solely for the fact Chloe was helping us. Otherwise it’d be 1 because I can’t do 0. Chloe in portraits was amazing. The management, not so much. Some management (Mike) needs to listen to the staff when they’re trying to help you. While Mike went in circles for 30 minutes trying to do basic math for a refund Chloe had given him the answer almost as soon as the problem started.Chloe, if you see this, feel free to contact me for a job - we’ll hire you in about two seconds with your customer service and common sense.

Staff was very nice, especially at the Sephora counter (inside jcpenney) with Jessica and another lady. They were so knowledgeable and didnt rush or pressure us in deciding what to buy, and we bought plenty. Omg, try the Versace Yellow Diamonds. You will get so many compliments!Okay, we were disappointed in trying to shop for medium clothes. There just wasnt much, at all, in tops but the same four colors. The lines were super long for the tax free weekend, but they went by fairly quickly. This was in New Braunfels. Yesterday, in San Marcos, one of our items didnt have a price and the poor checker actually asked the other what the tag said so the person on the walkie could find it. I wasnt mad, as a teacher, it made me sad. I guess its easy to hire when everything is on line and there is no interview. I wish, they would train employees, too, to talk instead of text so they could be more efficient when they need to ask for help. Still sad.

My daughters dress code does not allow ripped, frayed, distressed etc. jeans, like not even w patches behind or a lightly frayed hem. We looked everywhere and ended up at JCP out of sheer desperation. Found 4 pair of Arizona jeans that were in dress code but still young and trendy. So grateful

They dont have much of a mens Dept. No extra large shirts just Large. Very few people in the store. It is very clean. But the store is set up for woman . It mostly any mens product when you first walk in the door You really have to look for mens products 90% of the store is womens products

Matthew and Kendra were very helpful in color choice. Matthew did a wonderful job. Very pleased with final result.

CLEAN and not crowded like at a mall. Staff is very personable and best of all NO MASK REQUIRED.

We had been a lot of places but able to find the perfect dress for my daughters wedding at a very affordable price.

I went a couple of times and didn’t like the service. Haven’t been back to see if they are better. But the girls working there were not helpful and I waited for someone to help me in the jewelry area once (waited too long). But this was only my experience

I went to this store to find a prom dress that looked good on me and wasnt $500. I did it really looks great, not surprisingly the dress that I got was the last one of it kind left. There were so many other dresses left but I was having trouble finding one in my size-8- not that its bad to find dresses that fit but just clothes in general because its such a common size. Anyways what Im trying to say is that this dress was really the one 😂 and I appreciate it.

Sat in check out line. Somebody trying to return something that they couldn’t figure out the price. But she did have a receipt. Lady was nice enough to send me another check out that had just opened. But she can only do appliances. Left the clothes at the check out. Guess I should have bought from someone on line. Much more convenient. Jc Penny’s needs to get a grip on customer service. If they wantTo keep their remaining stores open. I’ve heard they were closing stores so I was trying to contribute to their hopefully success.Didn’t work out.

I was extremely disappointment in the service. Went to check out ... I had some purchases and a return. I did not have my receipt, however in order to make my purchases they had to look at my credit card which the previous purchase was on. Maria inform me that is not possible that I could not return it without a receipt. I explained to her she could because they could look up my account, because they would be charging my account. Again, she stated they could not. I told her I would walk to another cashier and have it done. I did, they looked at my account returned the item and charged the other items on my account. Clearly, she did not know how to do it and/or didnt feel like doing her job.

Pretty looking building architecture. Also has pretty decent prices. Recommended.

JCPenney always has really great quality clothes. They also have an area that has discounted clothes. All you have to do is ask where the clearance clothes are. When you get over there they do have a big selection of clothes that you can choose from for a third of the price. If you do go to JCPenney make sure you check out the clearance area. They even have a childrens clearance area as well.

This is a nice store, but they are having a sale which didnt help me at all. The sale is buy one and get half off the next one. What I bought was $20, so to get any type of discount I would have had to spend $10 more. Thats not a sale in my book. I only needed the one item. I would have appreciated 10% or 20% off my one purchase. That would have been a sale. Since I didnt want to spend $30, I got no sale. Next time I guess Ill try some other store. But I did like the automatic opening doors and a speedy checkout.

I went to sephora to get a Xmas gift for my friend at work, and thesales girl was brilliant. She was so helpful and nice. I didnt read her name tag, but she was associate 0287.lol.it was a great experience

44 bucks for Lee Jeans? Ridiculous pricing, just so they can offer buy one, get one half off, leaving you still paying 33 bucks a pair and forced to buy 2 when you only wanted one. Why wont they just price their items fairly, and stop with the gimmick pricing. Were not stupid Penneys!

My favorite Jcpenney in the area. The store is always well stocked and in order. The isles are roomy and easy to maneuver. The store is always clean and very pretty. The employees are very friendly and helpful and if you need customer service for an exchange, they make sure your transaction is smooth and pleasant.

Needed an outfit for a Christmas luncheon.Great sales. Seem to save more than I spend.

Their curbside didnt work very well for us. Not nearly as efficient as HEB, Kohls or PetSmart. They dont have a specific phone number to call when you arrive, and no one answers any of their lines...not even the operator. Since health reasons force us to do curbside only, its doubtful well be back.

Good place place to go shopping for clothes. Yoy can also get your hair cut there. My wife did and was satisfied. All in all its a place to check out because of home decorations.

I bought some stuff int his store. I like the clothes that i got. The thing that i hate is that i drove all the way to my house and once i took out the clothes to see them i realize that the person at the checkout didnt remove the round ink retail security alarm tag. So I had to drive all the way back to get that thing removed. I wasted 40 min or so of my day plus my gas having to drive there. This happened today with the only guy there at the checkout at around 2 pm. Also when I got there a female help me get it off i told her that i did pay for it but the guy didnt remove that and i showed her my receipt. She didnt even look at me or say at least a sorry for the inconvenience since i drove all the way there but oh well, actually she didnt say anything at all. I guess some people just dont care about their customers.
