Awesome company. Second time I have called them with an emergency situation and they have shined on both occasions. Called at 8:00am when our door would not open and they had a crew here right away when I explained our situation. They got the door open so that we could do our business for the day and the price was very reasonable. Cannot thank them enough.

Recently bought new home in New Braunfels that did not have garage door opener. Purchased items needed for home along with a garage door opener from home improvement store. Later found they no longer install them along with most other things. Contacted overhead door, they sent Mark Gomez and his co-worker to install the opener. They did a good and professional install. A few weeks later had issues with safety beams. Mark gladly returned and took care of the problem. He is very professional and great to work with..

Prices were competitive and cant complain about the work that was done, but the process was subpar. When I ordered my door I was told that it would take about 4 weeks to get in. At about 5 weeks I went in to check and was told that the door was there a week ago, they just forgot to call and tell me. When I scheduled the day for the door to be installed, I picked that day because it was not a busy day for him and he assured me that I would be first (I was taking off work to be there). On the install day, they said they would be there at 9:30am. At 10:30am I called and asked if they were coming and I was told as soon as he finished his first call he would be on his way. I ended up having to go into work without seeing them and my wife had to take care of the door when they got there at 12:00 noon. They called me when they were on their way and when I told them that I ended up having to go to work and my wife would meet them there, they didnt seem to care. I never got a call back, there was never any follow up asking me how the job went? I have never heard from them again since they installed my door.

Mark & alellen arrived 30 min after I called. they replaced 2 broken springs on my garage door in a very short period of time. fast, friendly service at a reasonable price, who could ask for anything more?

These guys are amazing. My wife called me at work because our garage door would not open and it appeared to her that the spring was broken. I called Hill Country Overhead and I was set at ease by the employee who answered the phone. She was extremely friendly and informed me that she could have someone at my home in about an hour for a free estimate on any repairs needed. I placed that call at 3:39 PM and it is now 4:39 PM. Not only did the technicians show up within the hour, they have already completed all necessary repairs at very reasonable price and have gone on their way! Crisis adverted. I will forever use Hill Country Overhead door and will also recommend them to everyone I know. Great job guys.

I called Hill Country overhead door this morning and got my garage door fixed by early afternoon. I live a ways out so this was very unexpected they would get to me this fast. Excellent customer service and they are not overpriced. Very honest hard working company. I would highly recommend them. I like to purchase locally. Was looking to upgrade customers inside garage door openers for liftmaster 2001 model. Currently have old doorbell buttons. Found 78LM on line from $20 to $25.00.Hill Country said theyd have to order at a cost of $75.00 per unit. They reasoning for more than triple the price was Overhead.I guess Ill take my business elsewhere!

Unfortunately the schedule process was not customer friendly. I called in to schedule an appointment to receive an estimate to install a new garage door opener and repair my existing, the lady I scheduled With was very nice. We went over the schedule options, she offered me a morning window which I believe was from like 9 to 12, and then a second option which was from 12 to 6. I asked her if they could give me a more specific two hour window considering I would have to be taken off of work to meet the technician on site, she stated unfortunately we just give a 12 to 6. I stated no problem I’ll just take half a day off of work and be available for you guys whenever you need me . The young lady on the phone said that sounds great will be happy to see you tomorrow no problem. The day of I got a phone call at 12:32 from apparently a technician, the voicemail said this is Martin from overhead door please call me back. I was on the phone with a customer because I’m in the service business as well, I called the number back at 12:48 which went to voicemail. The number called back within one minute stating hey I missed a call from this number, I proceeded to present my name and that I was returning a call I had gotten. The technician then explained oh yes I had called you to let you know I was headed your way but since you didn’t answer I have moved on and will have to reschedule you for another day. I stated I’m sorry is there anyway you can come today it’s only been a short period of time and I was told to be available between 12 and six and I’ve been available at home. He proceeded to tell me that the office would call me back and reschedule. I then called the office and the young lady stated the same thing I questioned how come I couldn’t be seen the same day since I did everything I was asked to as a customer, nobody informed me that I was going to have to hold my phone to my ear and wait patiently for a call between 12 and six and confirm my appointment or else I wouldn’t get an appointment, even though I just spoke to them less than 24 hours ago and made the appointment and committed to being available between 12 and six. I can definitely understand a confirmation call however customer should have a reasonable amount of time to respond back before moving on. In my opinion this is not customer friendly to expect a person to just wait for your phone call without any reasonable response time to get back to you. I can only imagine if I was having an emergency with my garage and I missed a phone call my 15 minutes and got bumped another day.

The crew arrived promptly and the installation of the garage door openers went well. I am very pleased with the product.However I was disappointed that one of the keypads was installed in the wrong location. It was moved but left holes in my garage door trim. The crew apologized, but did not offer to correct the error. Also, the jobsite was not swept. I cleaned up after the crew left and found various screws, cotter pins and bolt heads. Not a good thing on your garage floor.A job checklist and a broom could go a long way in improving customer satisfaction.
