I have been going to Peter Ceglarz at Ceglarz Motor Repair & Sales, Inc. for over 10 years now and have ALWAYS had a positive experience. Peter is extremely knowledgeable as well as personable, providing excellent customer service. Above all, Peter is extremely trustworthy, which is hard to find in a mechanic, especially being a female (as some mechanics have been known to take advantage of a females lack of expertise). I truly appreciate having Peter as my mechanic and couldnt imagine receiving better service from any where else. Not to mention, Peter has consistently won awards regarding his excellent service. I scheduled a used car inspection with these guys but when I turned up to test drive the truck from a private seller it was not what I expected from the listing and thus had a lot of concerns when I showed up. They listened to my concerns !nd helped me understand differences in state RMV regulations before my apointment. I decided that I did not want to go through with the purchase before I went through with the check. But their sage advice helped me be confident in that choice at no cost. They followed up to help me with my search and check on my experience later in the day with a call from the owner. Very helpful professional and respectful. Honest and knowledgeable people! I had to get work done on a 2006 Volvo S40 2.4i, they took me through everything I needed to get changed and why and had my car back to me within 2 hours or so very trustworthy and hard-working people here Pete is very good and trustworthy my only suggestion would be to get the parts you need ordered and then have them install them... ill bring my car here again definitely

Recently had my first breakdown and this is my first car, so I know nothing about cars. Decided to call Ceglarz and it was an awesome experience. Brought my daughters truck to Peter and Tom after following them of Facebook for over a year. I don’t usually trust mechanics, lawyers or doctors. But Let me tell you this is the best shop I’ve ever used for a repair....hands-down.They are very helpful, upfront and honest. They take the time to explain stuff and keep you updated through the repair process. The repairs were done quickly and efficiently. Its obvious they take pride in the work they do. They provided me photos of the parts that were worn/broken and gave me all the old parts, without me even asking them to. The labor rates are the best around and they have many years of combined experience between the employees to figure out even difficult car problems. They worked together as a team to figure out the problem with her truck and a proper solution. I was impressed. It was fixed very fast using quality parts.I will definitely bring my other vehicles to them and highly recommend them to friends and family. Give them a shot!! You won’t be disappointed. Honestly I’d trust them more with my vehicle than any major car dealer or other shop in the area. And I believe they sell used vehicles as well. I may be looking for a newer minivan soon and will certainly contact Peter to see what he has before I go anywhere else. It’s hard to find service like this anywhere these days. But these guys do it right. Old school values pay off!

Ceglarz was great to work with on my auto repair. I had a car that needed brake and suspension work done. Ceglarz was able to give me a fair price for the job and did a great job on my Sentra. Peter, the manager is also a great guy to deal with and was very accommodating to me.

I’ve been doing business with this garage for about six months now. Everyone who works there are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have all taken very good care of me and have given me wonderful and accurate advice about my car. I never write reviews but feel compelled to do so to support this wonderful business!!!!

My son called for a quote to fix his car and was told the guy who gives quotes wasn’t in and would call him back hours later I decided to go in and ask myself the guy at counter says he would call me after lunch 4 days later not one phone call received. I read reviews and was excited to give them a shot what a horrible idea that was.

Been going here for 13 years now, nothing but great service, good rates, great parts. Also bought 2 vehicles from the shop and will be buying a third soon. In regards to the user who posted that after emissions was not told what was to be fixed, state law does not allow the inspector to tell you what needs to be fixed unless you want him to do the work, so get informed before you make remarks like that. Also, if you dont like thew owners attitude, go to story brothers or other shops in New Britain where they will lie to your face with a smile if you like that sort of thing, at least the owner here wont ever lie to you and give you false promises.

Called in and said I needed my car looked at they said to come down right away, they diagnosed it in about 20 minutes and told me what I needed and how much it would be and that I could get it done right now (Thursday 3:00 PM) then they worked with my insurance company to save me some money and got it done the next morning for me by the time I was out of work and its perfectly done, fair priced and fast.
