Fun place to shop and to stock up. Can’t beat the prices!!! Love Kirkland brand items. Gas is cheapest I’ve seen in the area. Not a crowded Costco compared to the NY and LA ones I’ve been to!!! So glad my new home is nearby.

This Costco in Hartford Connecticut sells gas - $2.89 regular, $3.11 for premium. Excellent quality fruits, veggies and meats at decent prices. Liquor is in a separate entrance next to main entrance.

Wish they had more of a Latin variety but overall nice location well stocked and clean.

I went to tire place to patch up the tire due to nail in it. The employee did really poor joy!! That time store was about close so I didnt look at the repair ed tire and wheel, but after couple of weeks I found my rim was scratched, there was new cut on tire wall and and my tire presser recommended by Toyota is 35 psi but repair technician put over pressure which was actually 42psi?? I have reported my incident to tire center manager and he allow me to fill out the claim form, and I hope Costco is going to take a responsibility!!.. Nice clean store 🏬🏪🛒 super friendly ppl. I really enjoy to go and shop around. At least twice a week I go there for my all needs!!Costco gas is clean and cheap too. Mostly I buy my all organic foods as much as possible 🙆 Fruits, vegetables, and frozen organics.. They have great deal all the times!!Only complain I have so far, this particular store is not big enough to carry my favorite Organic Whole milk Greek Yogurt. I have talk to sales associates couple times but there is no hope, only frustratin. Please carry.. Thank you.

Typical Costco.Unfortunately, bad service at the food stand. We ordered a pepperoni pizza at the checkout line with our stuff. We asked about our pizza with the cashier, he said we would have tell him since they didnt know we order from the checkout line. He saw our order for a pizza and it looked like he told the person making the pizza. Granted, it was really busy. 30 minutes later we saw 3 pizzas come out. 1 pizza went to a customer ahead of us that was there before us. 2 other pepperoni pizzas went to the serving area for people ordering slices. The person who makes the pizzas came out from the back to help the cashier because there were so many orders.We asked what was happening with our order for a pepperoni pizza. The person from the back said shes going to check. 10 minutes later we had to ask the cashier again. He said we had to tell him because we ordered from the checkout line. We told him earlier and he totally forgot. He said he would have it baked right away. We asked for the pepperoni pie that was there even though 1 piece was served. We asked to just give us a cheese slice.Costco needs more help at the food line.

Always shop at costco but never had much interaction with tire center until recently. Got my tires there months back but most recently found out I had 2 nails in one tire and needed to get it replaced. Every interaction- phone call, service desk, to getting my vehicle out of the service area was handled with tremendous professional courtesy. You guys are awesome and know that your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you again to the team there for all your help!

Gotta love Costco. This is one business that strongly shows their care for customers needs. Yes they are part of big corporate America, but you can see that besides profit, they highly value their customers. Most big box stores aren’t much about quality products, but Costco’s products have not disappointed me once, and I am easy to disappoint!!

Costco is always an enjoyable experience. The stores are clean and kept tidy, they move things around a lot...but that makes it more fun to find what you are looking for. You end up seeing more of the store and on the down side possibly spending more than planned. The employees are friendly and always willing to help and the management does everything they can to ensure you find what you need and have a great time doing so.

Love Costco! They have almost everything you need at fair prices even 9000 dollar massage chairs which is a little out of my league but I enjoyed talking to the sales rep 5 stars!!

Good deals on items. Sometimes the inventory changes and you cant find items you want that were available before. Also other shoppers can be aggressive in the isles and parking lot.

Great Costco location. Was busy, but not packed. Good selection for the store size. Definitely not the biggest Costco. They had a great selection of Prime grade beef at awesome prices. The one thing we could not find was take and bake pizza. You could buy a whole pizza cooked, bit not one to bring home. Maybe they stopped doing that, or this location doesnt participate.

Absolutely love this place!! Gas prices are always the lowest anywhere and if you get their credit card they add an additional 4% off your gasoline. These guys beat their competition in all departments.

I love shopping here. Huge variety, great workers, and clean. I always get gas here. You cant beat the food court price. Try the free samples buy more if you like. I have gotten clothes here before. Theres no fitting room, but with their Satisfaction Guarantee you dont need one. I get the size that I think it should be and one bigger if Im not sure. If it doesnt fit I return it. With the return policy I can shop with confidence. Most stores if you buy something you have a very short period of time to Return it. Costco is not like that. They truly stand behind their merchandice 100%. At the end of the day I am always satisfied with what I buy here. Here the customer really comes 1st.

ALWAYS good! Fresh, tasty meats and treats, produce and dairy. Always a new bargain around the next corner. Friendly and fast checkouts even when its crowded.

As of June 10, 2020, Costco at New Britain now has a limited menu offering at the food court, including pizza in slices and as a whole, hot dogs, soda, smoothies, and I think one or two more items I cant recall. Pizza is only available in Cheese or Pepperoni. Combo is no longer an option.Besides the food, strict social distancing measures have been implemented at this location. They practically refused to complete my membership purchase because I said no the the upgraded $120 membership. They wouldnt take my money. It was like pulling teeth. You know you are getting screwed over on something when the employees get a kickback or a commission, throwing it down your throat 3 times. Everything was a big deal. Nothing healthy at the snack bar. Couldnt find a lot of stuff I normally need. I took so long getting a membership card I didnt have enough time to learn the store because it was closing at 6pm on a Saturday.

Dimly lit... Its like walking into a depressing warehouse.The food items dont seem to be consistent either. So you can plan to go there for something youve been getting for a while, only for them to stop stocking it anymore. Makes shopping for groceries kinda difficult as you have to drop off all your frozen food at home first before you go to another grocery store to pick up what Costco stopped carrying.

Easy access but must plan when you go as the parking gets crowded and the lines for gas can be very long.

Parking lot was packed but store did not seem too crowded. Sampling kiosks were back. Checkout was speedy because extra staff was available to unload carts.I saw the ophthalmologist for a new prescription for my eyeglasses. Very pleasant and informative.Proceeded to the vision center for new pair of glasses. They were very busy. I had a minor wait. They were very helpful. Because of my height, my trifocal is set exceptionally low. The associate understood my need. After careful examination of my former pair and comparison with new pair, he placed the order for my new ones.

New member and so far, so good. Club sizes only for food and household goods so not necessarily the best for small households unless stocking up is possible. Prepared food is great for fast family meals. Love that ready-to-go whole hot chicken. Terrific price. Lots of good deals on clothing, toys, books, housewares, etc. Theres a website for member purchases too but I havent explored that yet. Membership fee is worth it, I think.

Costco is THE WORST!! Costco wouldn’t deliver 2 dehumidifiers (only available online) to my apartment because evidently “any customer that lives in an apartment above a business they won’t deliver to. My apartment even has a second & separate private entrance and door!! I spent 3 hours on hold with Costco’s incompetent and totally clueless customer service without any resolution. The hold time to get help from a Costco phone CSR was over 30 minutes long (not including multiple additional wait times when transfers occurred). Their 4 CSRs (including supervisors) all gave different answers and had no good reason in the end not to deliver to my new Executive Membership address. Walmart, Target, BJs and Amazon all deliver to my apartment EXCEPT COSTCO. BJs also has a Deli for fresh Diets & Watson Meats and Costco is too cheap to hire workers to run a fresh Deli. Go to BJs and don’t waste your money on a Costco Membership. I’m done with Costco forever (as everyone should)…

This is the best Costco in the state of CT, hands down! The employees are super helpful and its well organized.Edit: theyre hiding the cases of Polar selzer ($1 cheaper than the la Croix/Kirkland brands) in the way back near the TP and paper towels now...

Costco is one of my favorite stores. And having the chance to visit one in a different city is always exciting for me. As expected, it did not disappoint. Selection was amazing. I specially liked the liquor store and the gas station which I do not have at my local Costco in VA.

My daughter and I both went to Costcos over the weekend. Its my 3rd time being there. I enjoyed the experience each time. I love the set-up of the store. Not just for the items that they have to offer, but that they are carefully paying attention to the safety of their employees and their customers due to Covid-19. Theres bargains to be had there to pick from. Each section is set up to make the shopping experience very easy. And customers are going by the guidelines in respecting the stores arrows in directions. Costcos is also located where there are other stores are in the surrounding area. Which makes it easy access, from or to them.

Pharmacist was excellent May 1,2021about 5:30pm great job for the vaccine.

Came for some bottled water. I left with 7 Chicken Bakes (6 frozen, 1 ready to be inhaled), Protein2O(?), and some bananas. And some bottled water.🙃

Costco anywhere is always a pleasant experience - high quality merchandise. Not cheap but double the quantity for same price. Lots of party food and big ticket items like rugs, kayaks, furniture, etc. holidays are especially fun- cool decorations to buy and seafood stands. Seasonal items like tulip bulbs and turkeys are fabulous. Flowers are great buys anytime and clothes keep getting better. Oh wait did I tell you about the children books, tv- computer items and eye prescription center or print shop? Yeah this is the greatest. So t forget to grab a frozen yogurt for 1.00 on the way out! Treat yourself

Safety measures in place, good spacing and crowded at this time of year... Christmas. Only concern I had, and not Costcos fault or responsibility, was the drivers in their vehicles in the parking lot... too fast and reckless. My wife went 3 days later and had the same parking lot issues....she was almost hit. Other than that, everything is good at Costco.

Ive been a Costco member for a long time now. I find that the quality varies from location to location. My sons home hockey rink is near this location so its convenient for us to shop at which is nice because it is also super clean, well laid out, and doesnt seem to get over crowded. The also have a tire shop and full eyeware department with optometry appointments. I try not to throw five star ratings at everybody because nothing is perfect, but I like to reward places for getting the job done right.

I love Costco and never thought that I would write a negative review but I had a pretty bad experience there with returns yesterday. I purchased an Apple watch using a credit and returned with the expectation of getting the credit back. During the exchange the handler dismissed my questions and told me that I what received the credit, when ideally I had not. It was maddening. I never thought I’d have a bad experience with Costco staff :-/

Pretty well managed place. Like every costco.. love their fresh fruits and vegetables sections. Only disappoinment we had was the lack of fresh herbs and rye flour

I am not a member, but this the favorite place to shop for a good friend of mine. I am amazed at the quality, variety and price of everything from groceries, TVs, clothing, etc.

I can spend hours upon hours in this place. Its like it never ends. Definitely worth buying a membership to Costco. Very thing is so cheap and name brand. Also gas is very cheap too.

I always spend more time and money than I want to. My pet peeve is that none of the aisles are marked with what they contain. It adds to the time factor. They do carry a lot of organic goods which was the initial draw.

Love Costco. You simply get good foods in bulk at a reasonable price. With two growing boys, it allows us to buy high end, quality foods at a reasonable price. Plus get 4 percents on gas and 2 percents back on groceries really help you stretch out your budget.
