We called on the morning to make sure they were open, were told they closed at 4, and arrived at noon, called again, and told we would be met at the stairs by a worker. Instead we were confronted rudely and called liars. We even confirmed the number we called that morning. I assume the owner, said we mustve called somewhere else. We were refused entry. I wouldve given it a two if we were treated kindly, and not blatantly accused as liars because someone had made a mistake. I dont often leave bad reviews, especially on independent businesses which I whole heartedly support, but the rudeness with which we were met immediately and the accusations of being liars even after co firming we had called this exact store has led me to give such a review. If you like to be treated like a child come here!

Nice place. Well maintained old structure. Pleasant staff. Located in the old New Castle Opera House

A wonderful place for the serious bibliophile. They specialize in books about books -- the history of bookmaking, publishing, etc. -- but also have rare books of poetry, local history, and a few other topics. Very friendly staff, too, and a friendly dog to boot.

If youre interested in books about books (publishing, binding, selling, history, etc), this is your Holy Grail of book stores.

If you live books on books this is the place for you. Rest in peace Bob Fleck.
