Just came for an inspection the people who work here are extremely friendly, and polite, the guy who runs the shop Billy was very informative in showing me what my car needed to pass inspection, took me in the garage to see what was wrong, and hooked me up with a great price. would def recommend and will def be back!! :)

Worst place ever been there twice . So I believe this was good place in the beginning. But found out that Manger frank didn’t play the mechanic . He fire the mechanic and didn’t care how they feel . Has a person working there doesn’t know anything about cars. Another thing I have a video on how he speak to his employees . what a place . Was completely nice to him and he was very rude and unprofessional. He has an excuse for everything . Also be careful

Went to get my inspection and they ripped me off and said I needed new brakes and kept my money. Went to other mechanics and they said I could have passed inspection. I see some good reviews for here but I’m guessing it all depends on who inspected it but yeah don’t risk it. Many other inspection spots in the area.

I used to be a customer of Gessels down the street util i realized that every time i did repair work at Gessels I had to bring it down to another shop to get inspected, idk why i was going to a shop without an inspection license to begin with, but learn from me use a shop with a inspection machine it will save you a headache! Billy and Frank are Extremely Nice and to top it off this place is right on main street!! and is right across from the movie theater, so if you wanna drop your car off watch a movie or do shopping while you wait, everything is right there!

WOW !!!What an absolute treat it was to pass by a few weeks ago and see $2.15 for Gas, spun my car around and topped off my tank... thought maybe it was a special price that day !Passed by this past Friday February 1... still $2.15... JOY of JOYS! Filled up again, the place inside is clean, clearly well cared for... told my family and friends to come here for gas!I am not from New City but will now be a regular at this station for sure, brilliant business idea.. (a win win for all) to the owners of this station.. thank you !

Had my car inspected, I needed brakes, they were very informative and showed me how bad my brakes actually were. They showed me the difference between new brake pads and mine, they even had my husband come down so he can see as well. These guys are soooo polite, and very willing to take the time to explain what other shops will not.. and gave me a great price!! This will definitely be my new repair shop!! Thank you so much for being honest and making us feel comfortable!!

Morning guy who works the register is very lazy!!!!! The owner Frank is a crook will rob you on your state inspection for work you dont need. Stay away youve been warned.

Manager is very mean and rude. I went there for my car’s NY state inspection, He said do the inspection where I changed my cars tires. They tried to rip me on the name of brakes. The manager was able to tell that brakes are needed just by looking my car (genius). By the way my car is 2016 model and very low mileage and brakes are very good. I just moved to new city so I thought I can establish local contacts. I felt these people just want to make other people fool. Bad experience ....would never go to this place ever. If you read this post please avoid this place. Don’t think that you want to help local businesses..just go to mavis or other chain as they would help you better ..

THE NEW GULF STATION ON MAIN STREET IS THE BEST GAS STATION IN THE COUNTY!!! CHEAPEST PRICES ANYWHERE!! THE GUYS WHO WORK THERE ARE EXTREMELY NICE AND PERSONABLE! GAS PRICES ARE CHEAPER THAN COSTCO!!! AND THEY HAVE A FULL AUTO REPAIR SHOP !! YOU HAVE A FOREVER CUSTOMER !! THANK YOU !!!!!

Cheap gas, good coffee, nice staff

They told me I need a lot of stuff to pass inspection,so they failed me charged me 37 dollars. I went to a more well known reputable shop and they told me my 2013 is fine and showed me. A friend of mine told me she had the same experience in the past at this place. Not nice to try to rip people off. They lost me as a costumer gas,food,ect. Im just happy they only took 37 dollars from me instead of more for repairs I definitely didnt need!

Soo I brought my car here and the guys who work here are really cool. The owner is pretty cool too. HOWEVER, he tell me REPEATEDLY that he disliked my specific model of car, and thats fine thats his opinion after all, but in MY opinion, it is kind of rude and off putting to be telling your customers you think that their car is stupid. Anyway, they did the work I paid them for, it took quite a bit longer than they said it would though, and I cant say I am NOT satisfied and I cant say that I AM satisfied. Would I recommend this place for serious work? No. If you need an oil change or a tire patch? Yes.

After getting gas from here it will feel like your drive a lion

The people that work here are extremely rude and have no patience for anything the guy was literally yelling and cursing the whole time thank god i only came for inspection and I knew my car had new brakes and tires cuz I did it myself made sure to tell him before hand before they try to sell me garbage like all the other reviews STAY AWAY

I am very afraid that I am changing the brake system here, it is a fake brake system, I am very afraid of this boss, I told them to come back again, I want the original brake system, I have never returned, I have charged an expensive fee, it is not original. The brake system, this boss is too dark? black? black? It is. My car went in many times and told the boss about the brakes and did not change it. Is it just that I am a foreigner Chinese, do you bully me as a foreigner?
