This ShopRite has great prices all the time, check out is always a one two three. I love their cleanliness. Always well organized too. Customer service are always will ing to go the extra mile. Parking always available never any problems.

Quality here has dropped recently. Store isnt as clean as it used to be. Havent had the best of luck with the produce lately. The self check out is horrible and takes way too long to process. Ive started shopping elsewhere

They only had 2 lanes open with cashiers and they were too long, one was for 20 items or less and the other one for the regular buyers. They also had the self check out ones but those are no good to us since we have a big family and our shopping cart it usually pretty full!!

A bunch of heroes are working at this ShopRite. They work tirelessly to accommodate the shoppers.I travel a lot to Europe and Florida. But, there is no no other supermarket in the world for me like the New City ShopRite.Truly grateful for all the people that work there. They are absolutely the BEST!

A very nice store for regular families that want variety and great quality food for their families and their always having great sales along with their already great prices and they have both generic products and name brands they have something for everyone and the people who work there are friendly and always happy to help just an all around great place to shop and work

The store is very clean and organized. Unfortunately cashiers like Greta are very rude and unhappy with her job. My 11 year old placed a case of water on top of the belt. She was so nasty about it telling him to put it back in the cart because she was not going to lift it. Bad customer service.

Clean and well-lit store. Aisles are one way due to covid 19 and they are clearly marked. Check out is easy and protective dividers are set up. Prices are competitive as well.

Very big store; a little confusing because it is not organized the same as some other ShopRite stores. But theyve got everything youre looking for and theyve got great prices.

Wonderful Shoprite. Usually very well stocked with all needs. Run well, so kudos to the management and the workers are always ready to help you. They even just added some self checkout machines, but lets hope that doesnt mean layoffs

Been inside the place only a few times. Its practically the same as any shop rite store. Has all the bells and whistles and such. So come by knowing what to expect.

This location can use a major facelift. The awning, freezers and decor are a mix of different decades. Lighting is poor. Produce area not inviting. It looks old when compared to West Nyack or even West Havestraw. It does get a plus for installing the self-serve check outs (only part that lets you know what’s year we’re living in).

Good shoprite, so far all the employees have been very kind and helpful, the only thing that keeps me from giving a five star review is that there is rarely enough registers open, and the shelves are often bare, but that may be due to covid. Other than that, its a very nice place to shop.

Big improvement since the self checkout, either with belt for bigger loads, or....the express type of checkout. 👍👍

Our local Supermarket, great selections, fresh produce. The isles are always fully stocked, and we never have problems looking for any items. They have a great bakery and an awesome hot food section.

Ive been shopping here for years. The staff is always polite and helpful. And I find their prices are usually lower than the other big New City supermarket.

Pretty outdated compared to other shoprite around the area.

For the prices, this place gets 5 stars. Pretty good selection, always fresh, great prices, and the butcher in the meat department is always extremely helpful! Weve had some really great steaks from here that friends have raved about, at unbeatable prices. I like that ShopRite also has their own line of very affordable organic meat.

This supermarket is small and cluttered. It doesnt carry a wide range of products like the one in west nyack which is cleaner and more spacious.

Its a great store with the retro feeling. Elly on the express lane is the nicest cashier.

An older lady at the register would not let me leave until I picked out the right flowers. I loved that she wasnt even aware of the occasion but she still cared to make sure that the person it was given to was very happy

Not very well laid out, hard to find items on the shelves, very rude staff. When I asked 2 employees for help finding something; one brushed me off with an attitude of why are you bothering me? And the other told me the item was in the store if I look for it.The manager on duty was their saving grace for being friendly and helpful.

Nice enough store, but the clientele makes it an unpleasant experience. The privilege that people exhibit in this store makes me not want to shop there any longer. On my last visit, a gentleman behind me in line kept tapping the backs of my legs with his cart when he felt I should move up faster in the checkout line. Who does that?!

I just realized the store did not give me 3 items for the purchase was last Saturday. I didnt realize the missing items until today. ( I was extremely busy- work full time plus part-time). I appreciate the manager who let me have those missing items.

The store staff usually very friendly. Produce is always fresh although I think they might like to invest in more smart hand cleaning sites and supplies for use while customers are shopping? The florist is top notch in providing demonstration to wrap floral arrangements. And also the deli counter staff cut meats and a variety of cheeses down to the detail and there is good arrangement of side dishes. And the store has the most interesting vegetarian roll sandwiches and some also contain meat choices, with options available for the consumers.

Lapin and I stopped by here to pick up some hot food for Bear Mountain. The store is spacious and clean. We have been to this location several times before and the staff is usually very friendly. There is a good selection with most of the sale items in stock with affordable pricing. I also like how they hot bar section with an area where you can actually sit and eat your food. The lines are always long but we try to keep our purchases small to speed through express line (but sometimes there is a wait here too).

Today I had a very bad experience at shop rite: I was in a rush, stopped at the store, thinking I was going to shop and get out in a decent amount of time, but that wasnt the case: they have moved the Goya frozen food from door 67 to door 1, and did not change the sign or indicated where the new location was, which made me waste a lot of my time!! But that wasnt all: when I got to register #11, the cashier needed a key to do some transaction for the customer in front of me, and even though she called for help many times, customer service took their sweet time to bring that key and that was another delay. I asked for the manager, and was told that person was on the second floor, watching what was going on and doing nothing about it. Judge by yourself what kind of experience I had at shop rite today!!

They have been falling off a bit in the last couple years! They are just dropping products out of the blue, staples!I have had to take pics of empty shelf areas with scan codes to get them to reorder after months of no product. Other products are gone, not to be found at this store any longer!Staff are great, Store is clean,but something is wrong with product purchasing, Coffee Beans, Roses Lime juice to name a couple.

Incredibly confusing layout. Inconsistencies in what they stock. They need to be better organized and have more items available like the West Nyack location.

The place is filthy, water stains on the ceiling over the produce section, its old and they never have enough registers open. Its lacking in any of the conveniences most other grocery stores have, the deli looks sparse and questionable, the seafood section is all but obsolete and most of the staff...I just wont go there. Management is rude and cant be bothered helping anyone so I cant expect much from the people that work there. Ive gone there for 25 years and stopped because they obviously dont care about the store or their customers.

They charge for paper bags 12 cents..so bring your bags!!!

Great selection of hard to find items such as Hanks Hot Sauces which I used to have to get delivered with a minimum purchase of 4 bottles.

I rarely come here as others in the chain have a greater selection and more staff. Quality is good, staff is helpful. But options are limited. Their gluten free section is okay. Other larger ShopRites have more options.

I always find what I need/want. Store is clean, well lit, well stocked. Cashiers are always courteous and professional.

For a basic supermarket, there is quite a lot of variety. Prices are good, but sometimes the shelves are not stocked. (produce, sale items, etc.)

Always seems to run out if things that have coupons/sales. Had coupons in future week in current week flyer. Bathrooms need cleaning. Need to remove expired items from shelf. I like ShopRite in general, but really wish this location would be comparable in standards from its other locations.

Terrible Service. I’ve been here numerous times and it is almost always the same. I have only ever had one cashier that was friendly, however most of the time the cashiers are extremely rude and unprofessional. There are hardly any cashiers to work the registers, resulting in very long lines. It is also very dirty compared to other Shoprites. This is the closest Shoprite to where I live, so I only go here if I need to get one or two things. However, I mostly go to the one in Pearl River now because of the friendlier and quicker service they provide.

Its really more like a 3.5 in comparison to the (4 star)produce section of the west nyack shoprite. (pearl river also is 4 stars) Yet I do find I have a better chance of finding popular items in new city. This could-be for a variety of reasons but nevertheless I found it to be true in my experiences.

If youre in no rush and like to deal with the elderly, this is the place for you! They have great prices but thats where the fun ends. The aisles are too narrow, the average age of the shoppers there is probably around 70 and they have no clue how to drive their shopping carts. They just stop dead center in the aisle to look for items on the shelves. The leave their carts in the middle of the aisles and walk away. When youre finally done getting everything on your shopping list and maneuvering your cart like a taxi in midtown Manhattan during rush hour, you come to a dead stop at the minimally staffed registers with nobody packing your bags. Lucky for me the line I was waiting on had the register go down. I rolled my cart into the nearest aisle and went to Stop and Shop up Main street. I paid about $5.00 more for the same items but was in and out in less than ten minutes. If your time and sanity is worth more to you than saving a few bucks, steer clear of this store.

I think this is the best supermarket in Rockland County. The Stop & Shop in West Haverstraw always looks dirty and the ShopRite in Stony Point never has any registers open even during the busiest times of the day. Plus this particular Stop & Shop has plenty of self-checkouts among plenty of open Isles with cashiers. If youre near New City its worth going here.

They did not have enough 80% drop me from my order and know what youre on duty and the phone that you pick up does not work for butcher
