This towing company is great! I needed a tow for my son on Friday, 9/24th, who was stuck in New Haven as his cars breaks gave out and we live in Hartford (about an hour away), and York towing pull through! I asked them for a quote, they gave me the average quote from New Haven to Hartford and when I called around, everyone else was charging a bit higher. Mike was right on the money with his quote so I went with him. They picked up my sons car in about half hour and my son arrived home safe and sound. I cant say enough about how grateful I am with this company. They were courteous on the phone, honest, respectful. And thats all I wanted. No fooling around, just strict business. Will definitely use them again! Thanks Mike! :o)

On august 24 my car was towed due to a flat tire I’ve call multiple times talk to multiple people the people there are rude and the owner is very disrespectful I’m trying to get my car out for several day and weeks now and there just giving me the running around I even try to negotiate with them on the price and they said “no that not gonna work we was the whole amount “. So here it is September 10 I call back and they still not letting me get my car at all. so at this point what should or can I do to get my car back because this should be shut down for unprofessionalism so I’m going to end up call legal action and Tony Harps and tell what going how poor there service is and unprofessional they are to us people that are trying to get there cars back at this point if I don’t get my car back

If I could give zero stars I would. This isn’t my first bad experience with this trashy place. My car was towed due to a parking ban, mind you the last two snow storms I’ve parked in the same spot and was not towed, but that’s besides the point. I called early in the morning to go pick my car up, they have ONE person running the whole “company” if that what you can even call that place. He told me to come back at 1, I do. They don’t take cards so id to leave again to go to the atm. (They should tell you that) That’s fine, I pay, leave, as I’m driving, mind you it’s currently snowing like crazy, I realize my tire is flat. Upon checking my whole side wall of rear tire is blow. I call. I can’t talk to anyone until Monday at 9am. I work in health care, I have work at 6am tomorrow, the guy, I think his name is Ricky said the owner couldn’t make a phone call on his “day off” to speak with me about it. This place is trash. Do better.

Excellent service at a good price.

We were stuck and pretty much had to use the services that were closest to us so the choice was use the service or stay out in the elements longer and pay more to a company who was further away. And because I feel like the associate (Jose) knew that he pretty much spoke to my cousin like youre stuck you need me i dont need you. Hung up the phone while speaking and not courteous at all. The tow was appreciated AND paid for but the service STUNK!!!!! if there was another option it would have been exercised that day.

Towed my car with valid parking sticker and prked on the assigned parking spot only because it snowed and they coldnt see stickers. while returning my car they were very rude and unprofessional.

Owners and everyone else there are very nice people, they don’t get recognition for their understanding attitude/behavior towards customers. Very patient people.

My car was towed for street sweeping. The front bumper, radiator, and cooling fan were all damaged by the tow company making my vehicle inoperable. I brought it back to them. It took the a week to reconnect the disconected and damaged radiator. The vehicle is now operable however none of the damaged parts were replaced or repaired. The owner was cordial, but did not communicate well and was ruteinly inaccurate about the timeline of repairs

They dont accept debit/credit cards. If you have the misfortune of having your car towed, make sure you have money on hand.

First off, I want to make it clear that I understand the important of tow companies. They perform a valuable service in keeping traffic lanes clear, and also in helping people stranded by breakdowns. Ive had positive relationships with tow/repair shops in the past, to the point that I kept their number saved in my phone for any time I needed car help, because I appreciated their honesty and transparency.That being said, this is not an example of that kind of tow company. This company is staffed by small, petty people who will do anything to make a quick buck, up to and including lying to your face. If you get towed by them, I feel for you, and if you go here willingly...just dont go here willingly. If you think Im just salty over a negative transaction, check the Better Business Bureau.

They took my car from where I live because of a sticker that I can’t get from the rental company because of Covid I explained that to the driver days ago! But the guy doesn’t touch the Spanish people cars! So I’m supposed to pay 181 for what! I’m a single mother that is trying to make it! This is discrimination and I will be contacting the Mayors office about this! They took my car 4 in the morning! Like really but when he seen the Spanish people car he didn’t take it! I have witnesses too verify what I’m saying o this I not the end of this

Did there job and towed me Im not upset over that. What makes me mad is that damaged my car. You can do your job but do it correctly they have drivers that obviously dont care about not damaging carsI blame the owners they dont train right.

Dirty and unorganized, trash everywhere but again its towing business, making money out of other people mistake what more can I say that is good. They take the money fast. I guess the check out there is good.

I had my Honda Accord parked in my drive way, something broke and I had to tow away my car, I called York Service, and when they guy got there, seems he has under the influence of some ilegal substance, he was rude, acted very angry and when he tried to tow my car he did it in a way that broke the front bumper, it costed me $500 USD for me to fix it (I had to replace the entire piece) I don´t remember the owner´s name but was rude, and providing all sorts of excuses; I heard they do business with the police department in New Haven and that´s why they do whatever they want, not sure if that is true but to all car owners, man and woman, stay away from this abusive, dangerous, dirty and extremely unprofessional business.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a business. They did not want to explain or even try to tell me my opinions or total costs. Basically if you are there they have you by the balls and you wont be able to leave with your vehicle without paying through the nose. Avoid at all costs.
