Like I said in the review that I posted before, I don’t know if the hot cocoa or the pizza I got gave me food poisoning, but the cinnamon bun tasted good. Cats were super cute. Cookie was also good.

An absolutely lovely establishment. The staff are very nice and know what they are doing. If youre a cat lover (and a coffee lover) - this is the place for you. I can not recommend it enough - youll be feline good in no time!(Picture is of Clint Eastwood - one of the many cats that inhabit the place. The best experience I’ve ever had. I fell in love with Faye and Fritz. All of the cats were adorable some more friendly than others. I loved it and I will have to come back at least once a month! :)

We had a great time playing with kittens and seeking all the cats. I have 3 senior cats at home so it was nice to see more lively kittens! Its a great place to play with cats and even adopt them.

Uplifting event, for all parties involved. :DIt was incredible just to see how much care goes into those furry friends. Getting to interact with them was bonus. All humans there were very helpful, professional, and super friendly. And all derpy felines were puuurfection. Definitely going again. 🐾💕

Omg this is such an amazing experience! The cats and kittens were so sweet and cute. The employees were so knowledgeable and friendly. I took my 2 older kids, fun morning out :) You never know you may end up signing up to adopt a new little best friend ❤

The best place to get your cat fix and even better if you’re seriously looking to adopt a new furry family member. The staff is very knowledgeable of the kitties under their care and helpful with any questions. The cats all look like they are treated with care and the cafe and cat rooms are kept immaculately clean and inviting for humans and kitties.

This place is lovely. Lots of cute kitties minding their own business and looking cute. Some were adoptable, some were already adopted. Theres pictures on the wall of all the cats with their story, their petting preferences and if theyre adopted or not. The cafe part of the cat cafe is good. Theres a decent selection of drinks and snacks to choose from as well as souvenirs. The staff seemed friendly too. Id recommend this place.

Way better experience than I expected. Clean, relaxed, and very enjoyable. Cafe had a good selection of drinks and are quite good. Cats are super relaxed and there is a lot of information available to read about each cat. A lot of open space to lounge in and plenty of climbing space and trees for the cats.

It’s the cutest concept ever! it’s super clean and smells so good ! coffee is delish and the kittens/cats are adorable company. definitely going back!

Happy to see all the Covid regulations in place to keep everyone safe. The cats are well cared for, and it was great spending time and sharing their space for a little while. Drinks and food were also delicious and healthy, too. Couldnt leave without a souvenir, they have some terrific ones that go towards a great cause.

I loved my experience overall! I just wish there was less people in our session because it felt a little hard to move around the small area. But I absolutely give all the credit to the kitties, they are so well behaved and are love bugs. Thank you for the wonderful time.

My daughter and I love going to Mew Haven! We have gone several times now to visit the many cats and kittens! It is run very well snd it is obvious that the cats are well taken care of! We look forward to our visits! In fact we finally found our match! We adopted two bonded brothers Sam and Salem! We are in love!!

Had a great experience here! The drink I got was fantastic and being able to see the cats in an environment where they feel safe to explore was amazing! I would recommend to anyone looking to adopt a cat, or even just a cat lover.

This cafe is amazing. Having helped in the adoption of over 300 cats, it shows that the place is doing its job. Friendly but organized with friendlier staff, this is a great place to either come meet and play with some cats, or to honestly consider adoption.

I loved coming here seeing the cats. The staff is super professional and very organized. I wish I could adopt all the cats but I can’t. I love coming here it’s a perfect place for adopting a cat that needs a loving home.

I was brand new to cats when I first visited, and it was an incredible way to become more comfortable being around them. We have visited 7-8 times over the last year because of the great experience they have created!! While the adoption process is not the easiest through their partner, I still cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The staff is so welcoming. My friends and I visited, and we asked about something totally unrelated, but they had no problem answering and even having a conversation about it! The people are great and the cats are SO cute!

Wonderfully safe covid and cat-wise! Tons of cute kitty merch! A reasonably priced way to get additional kitty fix. The refreshments are seemingly more of an afterthought, satisfactory, but the cats are primary focus. Which was just fine with me!

This place is wonderful! I’ve been to other cat cafes where the cats seem overstimulated and worn out but they really seem to care about the cats here. Wonderful experience if you are looking to adopt or just can’t and want to enjoy some quality cat time.

Wonderful people doing wonderful work for cats. If you are a cat lover in the slightest, then this is the spot for you. New Haven really needed a cat cafe and they got a great one.

Had a fantastic time at the cafe! I really appreciate how cautious and caring they are to the well-being of the cats, with profiles on where each one of them like to be pet on the wall. The snacks at the cafe were tasty, but the real attraction is the cats. There are so many, and its great to see this cafe helping these homeless cats get adopted. I personally went when they were highlighting FIV+ cats. Those cats always have more difficulty getting adopted and its great to see them showing that theyre just normal cats after all! Booking was easy and simple, checking in was no sweat. Would definitely come by again!

My wife and I love cats so I took her here on a road trip. Everyone was very friendly, cats and humans alike! We both look forward to going back next time were in town

My son and I had a great time playing with all of the cats and kittens. Everyone there was so helpful and answered all of our questions about the kittens and potential adoption in the future.

Stopped by on our way home for a coffee and to check out this unique cafe! We were a little disappointed when we realized you have to make a reservation to sit with the cats, but now we know for next time. I love what they’re doing and they’ve been so successful with getting cats adopted. The coffee was great too, and she even gave us coffee ice cubes to make the coffee stronger!

This place was so fun and so cute. The owner and cafe portion were great, the drinks were good too! Our cat lounge attendant was also great. But the greatest part were the sweet little kitties that were running around. They had so many toy options and so many places to climb on as well as so many places to curl up and take a nap. My boyfriend and I completely fell in love with them all

It was wonderful. Not only can you drink your tea/latte in the company of some wonderful felines, but you can even adopt the cats in the cafe. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. Great area around the cafe. There are may local businesses near by that we checked out or plan to check out because of the cafe. Definitely a great way to spend an hour/hour and a half.

Very cozy. The drinks are great, my chai tea latte and wifes ginger cat were very enjoyable. Friendly staff, cats personality and disposition may vary. (We all have our good and bad days and so do animals.)

Many of the cats were clearly uncomfortable, and there were people openly chasing them and trying to touch them when they obviously did not want to be bothered. There was only one person working on the cat side, who listed the rules but did not stop customers from terrorizing the cats. Fun concept but poor execution.

The perfect place for any cat lover. Theyre all so friendly and fun to play with. The staff and owners clearly care a lot about their cats, and will gladly talk to you about the cats living at the cafe. And to top it off, the drinks are absolutely delicious. An amazing experience, and I cant wait to go back.

This place is great! The staff is very friendly and they’re quick to check you in and get you a coffee before you go to play with the cats. The playroom is very clean and spacious, and didn’t smell like the inside of a litter box. They do a great job of keeping the place looking and smelling clean. Highly recommended for a nice afternoon experience!

I am very disappointed. I came here today with a family member in a wheel chair. So excited to see the cats! Who would suspect that decades after the Americans with Disabilities act they would be violating the law and not enable wheelchairs in! Boo!

The concept was excellent giving cats a home, but there needs to be more modifications to allow the cats to breathe from large group of people in at the same time. More staff needed to watch out for the cats:))

An amazing little place that had delicious food and drinks, and its just nice to sit and play with a bunch of cats. Plus the cats are adoptable so if youre looking for a cat its kind of like a test run.

I went for the Valentines night and it was truly everything I needed. Comfy space, friendly staff, gluten free food options, clear guidelines, and of course cute cats ❤.

A great place to visit and get some kitty cuddles. Whether youre ready to open your home to a furry family member or not the modest entry fee is worth it for an hour of cat time. The location is easy to find, very clean and the cats are well cared for.

Came here with my mom as something fun to do before school starts. Cat pictured (Windsor) was on my lap almost the entire time I was seated, which according to the staff is rare for him. The biscotti was HUGE, and DELICIOUS, so much so that Windsor was especially interested in getting a bite. Overall it was fun just being around cats and playing with the ones interested in playing, as well as just watching the cats do their thing. Would absolutely come again given I have the money. :D

Was very excited to go with two of my sons. Very clean place but did not get our full hour only received 45 mins and we were last appointment so I believed the employees just wanted to get out for the night.

We loved it! I wanted to surprise my son and bring him. It was our 1st time coming and we cant wait to go back. My son loved the surprise and keeps telling everyone where he went and all about his visit. He loved playing with all of the kitties and had a blast, me included.There are so many adorable cats there. I wish I could adopt all of them, especially Trapper. He was so loving and fell asleep on my lap. I felt bad making him get up when it was time to leave. The girl (sorry I forgot her name) was so helpful and was so good with the cats. She was so easy to talk with and very knowledgeable about the kitties. We stopped in the cafe after our visit with the kitties. There are so many cute kitty things in there. The lady in the cafe made my coffee delicious and she was also so nice and friendly. My son got a kitty cookie which he loved. I also purchased a kitty reusable bag with a carrying case, which is adorable. We are so happy we went and so excited to go back again.

Mew Cafe is a unique place! Ive done their yoga with cats class twice. I absolutely love going and Ill keep going! Ive tried two different coffees and each one was delicious. For the yoga class, you get to do about an hour of yoga, maybe less, I cant remember lol, while cats walk around you. Whats not to love about that?! After youre done with yoga, you can sip on your beverage while hanging with the cats. Unfortunately, I cant take on anymore cats, but I love meeting all the cuties and chatting with the awesome staff members. I highly recommend this place!

A wonderfully cute little space that serves decent coffee and does as advertised. Plenty of toys to play with the cats and they all seem happy. The coffee area is a little small, so get there early in order to get your drinks in time for your reservation. My only complaint is that the group size is just a bit too big too allow everyone to have a comfortable spot in the cat area.

We were at Mew Haven on Sunday. I was visiting from Washington, DC, my brother works at an American Embassy overseas, and my 94 year old Uncle from New Haven. Staff and cleanliness were EXCELLENT. Cats well cared for and adorable. Bright, playful environment. Visitors children to Seniors!

Absolutely wonderful!! The staff are very professional - meaning clear with the house rules and happy to answer all questions. They know the cats very well. The cats run from friendly to shy to sassy to playful. No kittens. All available for adoption ❤️

It was a very nice experience. All of the employees made sure we didnt get harmed. They provided toys for the cats clearly took good care of the cats. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great place for experienced cat people to hang out and help cats get socialized for adoption. I would not recommend this for young children, as sometimes the cats can be scared and unpredictable, and a child grabbing for a cat is not good for the cat, and the child could get scratched. Nice facility and helpful staff. Pictures and info about each cat and what they like are posted on the wall. Read this first before interacting so you can interact with each cat in ways they are comfortable.

I just stopped by and got a mocha. Great coffee and super friendly owners. I am so excited to have a cat cafe in town! They also have cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and cookies as well. In addition to great coffee and snacks, they have a ton of awesome cat apparel. I had to buy a card, it was too cute. :) Overall super excited about having this store here.

So cute and very clean! Very adorable and unique way to spend an hour in new haven. I got a cup of tea that was very good, my friend didn’t love her iced coffee but the cafe prices were extremely reasonable. The staff were a little awkward with their social skills but overall my friend and I had a good time!

A great place to get a coffee and hang out with some cats! Loved that each of their bios had places where the kitties preferred to be petted. We had a wonderful time!
