Cookies are amazing and probably one of the best you can get however I’m disappointed that today their was such a huge line and waited almost 30 minutes just to get some cookies. Their was only 1 person working, serving the entire crowd that you see in the picture. You guys need to hire more staff !!! One shouldn’t have to wait over 30 minutes for a cookie !

Best cookies I have ever eaten. Several different flavors to choose from, and it’s a awesome feeling knowing that whatever flavor you choose. It’s going to be amazing. I would give this a 5 star rating, but the price of these cookies is pretty intense. They’re really charging top dollar, and when you think about what these cookies are made of, it makes you almost regret buying them.... and that’s never a great feeling.

While this franchise is known for its cookies, this particular location has an awesome staff. Even while the line was down the block (literally), the staff was patient and kind while my large family placed their order.If youre looking for a tasty snack with great staff (even when theyre serving a boat load of customers), this is the place to go.

Cookies are some of the best Ive ever had. And the selection is great but only thing I will say is an issue is the delivery times. Of course is an issue for most places but its still an issue. Other then that insomnia is my first choice every time. 😋😋

Cool, but small cookie place. The cookies were kind of expensive but overall quite good. Next time Ill definitely be checking out the ice cream sandwiches. Worth a visit or delivery if youre in the mood for cookies.

Absolutely delicious cookies and the best Strawberry cheese cake flavour ice cream. It’s a small shop and usually there’s a big queue. You can also expect bad service.

After a night out in New Haven there is no better way to end the night than with some warm cookies. For less than 10 bucks you can pick 6 warm cookies to comfort you on your Uber ride home. Chances are you won’t eat them all so when you wake up the next morning you have a nice sweet surprise waiting for you. The cookies are really good but at 2 in the morning be prepared for a wait. At this hour it’s by far one of the most popular places in the city.

Insomnia is always good. They just need to keep their cookies warmer sometimes. Been a few times when they were cold. Service could be a lot faster.

This is wrong... there is no curbside pickup. i arrived called in, the man on the phone said nope no curbside come inside and hung up..... circled the block 4 times trying to find parking near the store. no luck.. had to cancel my order. nothing on the website does it say no curbside pick up anymore. very inconvenient. definitely will not be back. the head ache of trying to find parking is definitely not worth it.

Me and my fiancé decided to try this place out. We got there at around 1 am the cookies were fresh and warm. Staff helped us looked over the menu since it was our first time there. Definitely will be going back!

What else is there to say expect where else can you go late night tol 3am for some warm cookies?Place was buzzing at 12am when I went on a Saturday night, the line moved quickly and staff was friendly.Prices are to be expected in order for them to operate business in the downtown area.P.s. they have bottled milk. Service was so amazing!!! I called to check on my order 5 minutes early from pickup time and no sooner was he at my window of my moving car handing me my box of hot fresh fresh cookies!!! I did not even have to use my brakes he met me at my car! So amazed by this service, will return!

Visited today with my family. The cashier was nice and omg the cookies are really delicious. We purchased a box of 12 classic cookies to share. Of the 9 options we had at least 1 of 7 of them (we opted not to try mint chocolate or sugar this time). My favorite was snickerdoodle.

I was very disappointed, Ive always heard great things about this place and was excited to try it out, the lines were long and I waited a while to places the order, I got a homemade icecream sandwich with the cookies and then a 6pk of cookies, I handed the cashier $20 bill and was told they DONT TAKE CASH!! LOL I have never heard of a business that doesnt except money, only card, which I didnt have on me, thankfully there was a nice lady that paid with her card and I gave her my cash, THEN... I finally go to eat the sandwich and the cookies were hard as a rock I guess maybe the ice cream hardened them, not sure, I ended up throwing more than half out, they are expensive so that was quite alot of money out the window, and the 6pk of cookies although decent, werent anything out of this world like Ive heard

Service was good. But I dont think the cookies were worth the hype. They were not hot not even warm, and only the center was soft. I would expect from the line being long cookies would be fresh. Again service was great place looks clean. But not anything near the hype.

We had order many times last year, every time the cookies were perfect, warm chunky delicious and as fresh even the next day.Yesterday my daughter bought a dozen cookies for home and another box for a gift.The cookies were OK yesterday not impress, definitely not what we expected and today they are so hard we have to heated up in the microwave to eat. Im so so disappointed, i loved them before but the quality has gone down way down.

I was disappointed. Felt like it was overrated. My plain cookie was only slightly warm, slightly stale, not fresh. The second itemI tried was the ice cream cookie sandwich, Iasked for the cookies to be warmed and they were not, they were both hard and stale. Very little ice cream was added. And customer service was not good. I wont be back. Dairy queen wouldve been better for me.

Insomnia Cookies has the best warm cookies no doubt, 5 stars for that.I have worked as a manager for years, and I must say the customer service was HORRIBLE.The young lady at the front counter was so rude and it wasnt even busy. I have never actually been inside of any of their locations. So this was my first time, I didnt fully know exactly which cookies I wanted and, I was buying for other people. I was then asked how many cookies and and what kind. I told her which and she said come one name and how many, you can put your card in now, asking game to pay before I even fished ordering. I was going to order a lot more than 12 cookies but her attitude was awful and made me feel as if I was wasting her time. I would never treat my guest this way.

Pass by the place after leaving the Bar. Great place for a late night snack. Theres room at the back to sit and enjoy the cookie as well. They have quite the selection of cookies and if your feeling extra. You can make it into an ice cream sandwich. They have like 5-8 diff ice creams to choose from. Would recommend checking out

Honestly cookies are fine tasting. They are not the best or the worst Ive had. Kinda ridiculous however, that we live maybe 5 miles away IF that on the Hamden/New Haven line and they dont deliver in Grubhub or through their site. Why even offer delivery then if youre only going to deliver inside of New Haven?

Cookies are always moist and warm. I recommend either traditional chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream or sugar cookies with strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

This place is the best place for midnight cravings. Youll get cookies, brownies, ice cream here. Its open till 3:00am. Proper social distancing maintain. They just allows 3 person in-store at a time. And plus they are cashless.

Love this place! Was randomly having a craving for some today and was glad we found this location. Also want to thank the staff for enforcing mask wearing and social distancing(why an adult would need to be told to wear a mask 10 months into a pandemic is beyond me) so we can all stay safe.

Cookies are great but j have been waiting since 2:08 in the morning for my cookies and i have not got them yet i put a redeliver for 1:15pm its now 2:49pm why did it take me almost a day in a half just to get my cookies when the place is right there downtown new haven ct like i dont understand they need better workers and better communicators because this is ridiculous this never happened to me before and now it’s happening like whats going on? i am trying so hard to not put a complaint in and then tell me i have to wait 3-5 business days to get my money back like no either they deliver these cookies now or i put in a complaint and get my money back same day they are so terrible and it hurts me to say this about them do better pleasee!!! this is EXACTLY HOW YOU LOOSE CUSTOMERS!!!!

Cookies were absolutely AMAZING! Chocolate chunk and snickerdoodles were my fav. However great their product was, the ridiculously long “one hour out the door“ wait (cause of COVID of course) made the experience less pleasant. That’s the only reason I gave it 3 stars. They need to come up with a better system to speed up the process. Overall, i def recommend going (just don’t be in a rush).

As good as these cookies are, every time I have ordered them to be delivered they have arrived between 45 minutes-2 hours past the anticipated delivery time. So if you want Insomnia cookies, just be prepared to order them well in advanced with the ASAP option because they wont get there within 30-40 minutes with this location.

If you’ve ever gone to college you understand the appeal. No matter what time of day, this place has your back for cookies. They’re always warm and they come quickly. I always look up a coupon and use the app so you get bonus cookies or some dollars off. Split between friends and it’s cheap and you only have to walk to your front door. This place has always had good service and a short wait when I’ve gone in person too.
