Had to change my review. After shopping here for months,I sold some comics. Got store credit and was sold 3 CGC slabs that not one ever sold for more than $92 for about $200 to $250 each. I totally understand a shop having to make money,thats why i was loyal to them untill I found out what I bought. In total I was screwed out of $300. That amount isnt cool for anyone,especially someone as loyal as me.

A friendly, knowledgeable, staff. Plenty of merchandise. If they do not have something you want in stock, they will get it for you. What more could a customer ask for? I would never shop anywhere else. This place truly is the best.

Rip off. They take advantage of the customers. They charged $25 for a $5 comic just because they knew a lot of people wanted it. I will never buy another comic from them again.Update..just to clarify as comics do gain value over the years. This is not a comic that is 20 years old. Its not even 20 mins old, it just came out. Its bad enough we have scalpers that buy up items then turn around and sell it for 5-10 times the amount. Now we have a store owner doing it to their own customers. Store owners should not be allowed to scalp their own merchandise.

Love this shop. When I lived in Long Island this was the shop for me. Huge selection of back stock and statues available. Best of all during holidays they always have 50% off every item. Also when you buy 10 comics from their back issue bins they are $1 each. Swing by if your in the area staff is very friendly Zack who works there is always helping customers out. They have artist also during special events lots of goodies and gems to be found here.

These people charge full amount upfront for preorders while other stores only take 10%. However they do not ship the items months after the releases. I have been contacting them many times to get my refunds. They agree to do so over the phone but never actually issue a refund. I am in the process of getting law enforcement involved to get my $1000 back. I will not change this review until this matter is resolved. Buyers beware, do not preorder anything from this store or their website bestcomics.com

I was not a collector nor an active reader of comics. Ozzy, Nick and def Tommy are nothing short of amazing.They never ‘push sales’; rather they inform and are incredibly knowledgeable/helpful. Extensively collection of comics and also collectibles. Well organized, reasonable prices and helpful staff. Definitely a place you want to go and/or take your children, if they are interested in reading.

Friendly and attentive staff. Great selection of back issues from the Bronze, Silver, and Modern age. You might just find that book youve been looking for, such as that back issue that you might have missed. They also have quite a selection of CGC graded comics as well. The store has taken steps to curb the customers mishandling and, therefore, creasing of comics in the white racks that house recent back issues. Though the issue still exists, there were less books being damaged than from when I was last there a year or two ago. I would suggest replacing those racks with wire racks that are similar to the new release racks, though it might become problematic space wise because of its location in the store. Though it is annoying when staff at any store ask if I need help, I understand why it needs to be asked. That is really helpful for those customers who would not ask for help otherwise.

Organized with a variety of selection, from Golden age to Copper age books. Although some of the back issues are a little hard to reach the staff was helpful with tracking down titles. They offer a comic book club also.

Friendly and knowledgeable. I love the staff at best comics, they are always so pleasent to speak to and can honestly answer any questions i have. Even the owner says hello and makes me feel so welcome there. This is what a comic shop should be and i will be coming here forever.

This is my favorite comic shop on Long Island, by far! I’ve been coming here for about six months to get my weekly comics, and Tommy and staff (Nick, Chris, and Ozzie) are all awesome! Everyone is super helpful and super knowledgeable. I look forward to my Wednesday visit every week.

The store is organized and the employees are extremely helpful. If theres a comic that you want and they dont have it, theyll order it for you and give you a call when it arrives. Theyve quickly become my goto shop for comics.

It was great I wanted to get some fantastic four and some Superman and I didnt know where it was so someone cane to help me and showed some books he prefers for me since I am new to comics and the best thing it is cheap and has everything you need no matter if it is a magazine or just a plush toy thanks for the best experience.

Really great place for comics both old and new. Guys that work there are super friendly and really helpful. I can always go in there and ask questions about whats going on in new events or get some recommendations on things to read and not feel like a idiot for asking. The only place I buy comics from.

There is a good selection here, lots of good deals on trade paperbacks and back issues. The staff are very helpful with making sure you dont miss anything by printing publication lists and doing pull lists for customers.
