Mike at Performance has cared for every vehicle I’ve ever owned. He is professional, thorough, and fair. I trust him to diagnose what is wrong with my vehicle and fix it in a timely manner. He always communicates if the timeline needs to extend and stands by his work. As a family with small children, Mike has even picked up and dropped off our vehicles for us if logistically we weren’t going to be able to get to his shop without playing the car seat game. Can you imagine better service than that?! Mike is an asset to our community. Don’t hesitate to patronize this business!
Performance Automotive is great place for vehicle repairs. Mike the owner is very honest and reliable guy. Ive had two work Vans serviced by his shop and just dropped off the family minivan. I cant say enough how much I appreciate a honest, reliable, and very fair priced mechanic shop and Performance Automotive is exactly that. Thank you Performance Automotive/Mike

Mike,I didnt receive your last voicemail because ever since I got Comcast, they have been dropping messages. Truthfully I accidentally erased your message before listening. Im sure it was good news.My whole car situation (green Lexus) has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. When I brought the car to you, I was concerned about an occasional surging idling problem that I was uncomfortable with. You didnt notice this problem right away because it wasnt so major as to catch your attention. The locks worked, the battery was new, the fuel monitor worked, the power steering worked and the air conditioner was new. The car was drivable but I didnt like the idle.I know you keep cars for several months but you have had success with my Dads car and I trusted you. I thought you would keep my car for 3 to 4 months but not over 16 months. I called every month to get your voicemail and Comcast excuse. After a year you told me the car was ready, and to pick it up only to tell me it wasnt ready on the date I planned to pick it up. This happened several times. After 16 months and several calls, you tell me to come and get my car and it is trapped by a car that you claim someone parked in front of it and took the key. This went on for 2 weeks. Oh boy this was creative. You know that my car sat neglected during one of our worst winters with several feet of snow covering it. This snow on top and under my car melted, and froze again for several months. Then my car sat in the hot summer as I called you every month for an update with no return calls. My car is in worse shape now than when I brought it to you. Its start up sounds awful, I have no power steering. The rusted locks dont work, the gas gage is broken /frozen and Im supposed to accept this. Yes it is an old car but it was functioning. I paid insurance for 2 years, plus over $400 in plates and stickers so that whenever my car happened to be ready (and you could retrieve your Comcast messages) that I could legally drive my car without a problem. Its easy for you to tell me to junk my car after you sat on it and neglected it for over 16 months. You didnt pay for it, I did. My biggest mistake was bringing it to you. This is not how I envisioned getting rid of this car. Now I have to waist more time and money to come out to your shop to resolve all of this. Thanks a lot Mike! You failed me on this one and you know it!Robert
Mike is a good guy and a great mechanic
