In the pharmacy area, the staff is not friendly and you can hear them gossiping. Unprofessional. Also the pharmacy is NOT open on the weekend. If you dont get your meds by Friday you must wait until Monday! The pharmacist was nice and helpful tho.
The most unprofessional group of people at the registers. Really disappointed especially in the uneducated manager (maybe manager? When I asked for one, she answered), who was extremely rude. She also had her mask below her chin, coughing while I held my infant. Drive the distance to go to a different Walgreens.
I had read the reviews on this Walgreens, located on Danbury Rd, in New Milford, CT. and decided to give them a chance, I was wrong. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this pharmacy to anyone who is looking for a good experience. The pharmacists are polite on the phone however, they are deceitful and untrustworthy. They do not return phone calls as promised, when claiming to leave notes about the side effects on my profile (this happened on 3 separate conversations), nothing was documented. When I called again to say they filled the wrong medication which, we paid for, apologies were given but, it continued to happen for 3 months. They first blamed my Physician, I had my Physician write the script with the specific medication needed, per their request, then after being told they can order it, never did and finally they stated, they couldn’t get the specific medication that I needed however, still filling the wrong medication and never mentioned anything upon pick up. I ended up paying for 2 wrong medications before finally getting upset and and explaining my dissatisfaction, before my husband picked up the 3rd time (that was incorrectly filled as well). I trusted them and they betrayed that trust. They were deceitful and misleading. It’s sad to see that this company thinks so little of their customers that they can be so heartless and deceitful to their needs and taking their money for prescriptions that are useless, without a second thought. I will be writing a review and filing a complaint with the BBB on Walgreens business practices.
Horrible Walgreens. They are closed weekends now. My friend put in a prescription for me to pickup today (Saturday) and I can’t because they’re closed and so is my office! I had one dose of my medicine left. If I don’t have my medicine my health declines exponentially
Never used the pharmacy, but service is inadequate. I’m always greeted by rude staff who act like assisting you in any way is ruining their lives. Shelves are never stocked properly either. It’s a mess. Again, I’m not sure about the pharmacy end because I’ve never used them, but Walgreens on federal rd in Danbury is phenomenal in comparison.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this pharmacy at all costs! Every month there is another problem with my prescriptions. It takes 20-30 minutes to correct whatever the problem du jour is, I’m told the prescriptions will be filled immediately, only to return a couple of days later to learn they still haven’t fixed the problem and the prescriptions still aren’t filled. I finally went to the pharmacist today and she actually shrugged her shoulders at me and said “they weren’t filled”. She has zero interest in professionalism and even less interest in serving her customers. I’m going to have my 4 prescriptions transferred to Big Y. Maybe losing customers will encourage them to reassess the pharmacy staff.
Absolutely horrible! This pharmacy is Absolutely the worst!! Pathetic Horrible customer service.....
Worst pharmacy ever, wouldn’t use them if want a pharmacy that fills your script when you need it. Never use them ever again
I went to get my covid vaccine shot the other night and was really disappointed with this pharmacy. The original gentlemen who took our information down was very nice and helpful. But the whole time this was happening, there was one worker who had her mask around her chin and was coughing and sneezing everywhere behind the counter. Stating “ I am so congested” and not covering her mouth or putting her mask on properly. Along with coughing all over her computer and around their pharmacy space, She was dropping things and touching everything as well and none of the other employees, all though masked, told her to leave or to put her mask on properly. Neither did they disinfect the items she was using and touching and proceeded to hand us pens and clip boards from this sick woman’s station... Going there to get a vaccine for covid and seeing how unsanitary they were made it very discouraging to wish to return for the second dose. I recommend going elsewhere.
This is a Fed ex authorized location. They shouldn’t be. My husband went in this morning with a package, a company provided us with a pre paid shipping label for a return, however it is a barcode that needs to be scanned at fed ex, then fed ex prints the label and ships. When my husband came this morning they had no idea what he was talking about, they told him that he needs a printed label or they can’t accept the package. He showed them the email with the barcode instructions and The employee told him that they don’t do that, it needs to be a printed label. He went to work and called fed ex customer service; customer service told him to go back, that the Walgreens location in New Milford CT has the capability to scan the barcode and accept the package to ship. He went back and the second person he dealt with said the same thing as the first, that they “don’t do that.” He explained the email instructions again and told them we called customer service who said they can accept and mail the package. Then employee told him their printer is broken. Yeah, okay. No one knows what they’re doing here, they shouldn’t be associated with fed ex.
I’ve never experienced a more inept pharmacy in my life.
As Im questioning the cashier about the price on the shelf being different of the scanned price, another employee says the price on the shelf is messed up and that I have to pay the price on the computer screen. I asked who puts the price on the shelves and the cashier answered that walgreens. Then I hear a third employee saying customer service is bad over here.Well... I have to agree. How none of the 3 employees could fix either the price on the shelf OR the price in the system? Left the unneeded items behind. This is not about the $2 extra that I would be paying. Its about the poor customer service and the attitude that I witnessed at that store.
Ive had so many problems with this pharmacy since they became Walgreens. A) Every month I need to call them about insurance issues with your prescription just to be told there was no issue and it was just an error with their system. B) More than half of the time I call, nobody ever comes to the phone. Im left on hold for hours. There is no way that there is constantly a queue time of 1+ hours to contact them via phone. Im convinced they just arent answering the phone. C) On a couple of occasions they were out of important mental health medication I needed for more than 1 day.I understand that things are tough during Covid but there MUST be enough staff on shift to deal with this. Why even have the ability to call the pharmacy if we cant get through half of the time?Even more frustrating is that after 45 minutes or so, it no longer tells you how many callers are left in front of you. In all of those cases, the # of callers in front of me is more than 3 and it never goes down! Then it just stops giving this info all together.I dont like writing complaints, Im a very patient customer. But it really seems like corporate Walgreens is slacking on this location. It was a lot better when it was Rite Aid.... so I am inclined to blame the problems on the change to Walgreens.Either way I hope you guys can resolve these issues.
Pharmacists wont handle outside interactions with insurance or doctors, insisting that you play relay and intermediate for them. They also dont seem to stock very much, as even a widely prescribed antibiotic had to be ordered, causing a delay of several days. There is also a significant amount of confusion caused by the fact that the pharmacy is run by Walgreens, but the store is a Rite Aid. This is supposedly going to be rectified by an entire changeover to Walgreens, but that has been long delayed for some reason. In the meantime, the pharmacy exists in a weird limbo. Most of the ancillary items like snacks and toiletries can be had for nearly half the price at times, right across the street at the big box. I guess by keeping stock levels low, they allow for the extra roomy aisles and less cluttered feel to permiate the store. If you want a store with less stuff (both products and customer service) this should certainly rise to the top of your list.
I have been a customer for a number of years but I am thinking of changing. Their website for renewals of prescriptions is difficult to manuever and half the time doesnt work. Stock is another issue. Many times they do not have the medication in stock and it has to be ordered. They also refill RXs I didnt even ask for and I am not on automatic refill. The pharmacy technicians are very helpful and nice but their pharmacy overall and their website needs work.
Always positive. Great staff. Courteous. Quick and efficient.
Very clean, very well lit, open aisles, very friendly staff.
You should find what you need here
