Good auction house. They give you detailed condition reports and supply pictures etc as needed. Good communication, great selection of interesting items.

Despite the buyers premium (which all fine auction houses charge), they are very thorough and have been absolutely wonderful to do business with we have actually purchased and sold pieces with them over the past 25 years. I believe them to be experts and trustworthy. They can also arrange for the objects to be packaged and moved.

I have been buying and selling at this auction house for years. Never a problem. If I purchase without seeing the item beforehand, I always ask for a condition report. Even though I live in New Orleans, I sometimes bid online or with an in-house bidder by phone. Still no problem. If you request a report on the condition of a piece, they are very forthcoming and detailed with the information.

Such a radical warehouse full of awesome antiques! I felt very cool to be able to go upstairs and view auction items. If auctions are your thing this place had some gems.

I love this Auction house. They offer mid-to high end auctions.I had been looking for a certain 1960s chair for years. I could have bought a new one for $4,000-$6,000. I was able to buy an original, for a little more than $600. I used their in house phone bidders to make the bids for me. It was a seamless/perfect auction from beginning to end for me. I will definitely buy from them again.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing antiques through the New Orleans Auction Galleries. I am in New Orleans to attend the auction this weekend and hopefully purchase more beautiful antiques.

Be careful. the item I received wasnt even half as old as they claimed. Claimed it was first quarter of the 19th century. It was clearly a 1920s piece. I know I would never get anywhere if I complained. Be very wary of these online auction houses. They have tons of hidden, small print disclosures and you are literally agreeing to hold them completely not responsible for anything.l

This auction house is so unprofessional. I purchased an expensive carving, four photographs were used in the description. When I received it, it had two huge cracks, none of the damage was photographed.I called and the idiot I spoke with simply mentioned We sell all items as is, and there is nothing we can doI asked him, why if the time was taken to picture the good angles...why werent the damages photographed or mentioned.. the cracks are very large (8 inches)He mentioned that the photographs are for the catalog, damage does not go in the catalog...what??Please save yourself the headache I went through with this auction house. They simply care about business, not about the people, their customers

Quality items, the best of the best and a beautiful building and friendly people to assist you with every detail of your buying or consigning. The catalogs are bursting with stunning photographs of the objects and any buyer can request a condition report on any item represented.

In the last auction I bid for a Royal Worcester ewer. My online bid was $800.00. The winning bid was $800.00 inhouse. it was remarked during the auction that there were no online winning bids. A very amateurish auction house.I have dealt with Kaminski auctioneers. Very professional. Recommended. My last winning bid was with G. Evans of Lambertville, New Jersey on 28th October 2015. I am still waiting for an invoice which should have been sent within 24 hours. I am also unable to contact them.Of the three American auction houses I have dealt with only one has met my expectations and it was not the New Orleans Auction Galleries.
