Its a neat place. Most of the building is a dog supply shop. Lots of good food and pet supplies. We didnt realize where the art store was at first, but you walk through there and its in the back right. Good basic set of art supplies. Most of what you would need in art school or for drawing/basic painting. I was hoping for some unique stuff or something less like the art section at Michaels, but thats essentially what you get.

This store should make up its mind and sell art supplies or groom animals. I would give more stars if their colored pencils selection was better. Good job following Covid mandates. If I had a dog I would buy my dog something there

What an awesome store! Staff are helpful but not pushy or annoying. Decent selection of sketch books and supplies. Prices are on the steeper side of mid range but quality. Thank you for being here and being open!

Wonderful visit. I was confused walking in and only seeing pet related items as I had specifically researched for an art supply store in the area. This is a great little gem tucked away in the neighborhood! I found some supplies there that I hadnt seen at other stores. Shop Local!

Wow! Prices are cheaper here than in Missouri. Plus I found art supplies that I couldnt up here. I also cashed in on an art brush cleaner set for $10 instead of the $30. And no the wasnt sale price that was normal pricing.

Nice little art supply shop in a great location, selection is limited but they tend to have one of whatever you might need. It shares the building with a pet supply store which is odd but better than no store at all. The people who run it are nice and helpful.

Favourite spot to get art supplies and knowing that its a pet care centre as well is just really comforting. Best and #cheapest supplies in the area, even comparing it to shops like Michaels and other commercial stores I prefer this shop completely! Helpful staff and great assortment!

A NOLA gem! I came to NOLA for a wedding, and found a print to frame while there. They had a fab T square ruler for $2.59 that helped me ace the mat for the print. Next...the brides wanted a PURPLE caligraphed marriage certificate. The manager handed me the purple pen 2 minutes after I walked in the door. Finally, I made a mistake on the calligraphy Never fear. The manager found the EXACT shade of ivory paint to make a correction and demonstrated that to me. $4.00 and worth $100.00.I work in 20 mediums. This store has face paint, screen print supplies, all kinds of paints and brushes and dyes, ceramics and jewelry materials. And none of these are in the $150.00 starter set with a bunch of stuff you dont need. This is a curated collection with the tools and materials to start an art or craft at an affordable price. And remember the word MANAGER that I used frequently above. He knows ALL his stuff and how to use most of it. And hes available to help. Unlike the big boxes that order truckloads of stuff that come in 10 varieties of not quite right. With no one available to help you figure that out.Dont let this local marvel pass away. VISIT IT early and often for a good selection, easily found, at affordable prices.

This is solely for the class I recently took there on metal smithing. I feel like I basically paid for the teacher to socialize with her experienced student who was there basically to utilize the space. There is no doubt in my mind that the teacher is skilled and has the knowledge and experience to share. However in a class of four people, no student should feel like they are lacking attention.I broke four saw blades in the first class merely because I was putting them into the saw the wrong way... Something that would have easily been spotted and corrected. This is one example of many.I definitely learned something, and if nothing else it certainly sparked an interest in something new for me. But that was a mighty expensive lesson and you couldnt pay me to continue on...honestly Im not sure that any of us newbs are. I hope that the owners can take this feedback and maybe do something with it Its a great shop with a ton of potential and potentially a wonderful community resource. It just sucks to pay to be ignored and dismissed. I can watch a YouTube video if I dont need personalization.

It is a very large store, but art supplies have only 3 shelves totally missing. It is actually a Pet Shop, the rest of the store is all about pet supplies. It was a disappointment.
