My AC in my car stopped working when it was about 100 degrees out. Every other mechanic shop in New Orleans wanted it for a few days to a week just to look at it, or they didn’t work on AC. I came here, he gave me a rough estimate, and fixed it in one day. No fuss, and definitely cheaper than quoted everywhere else. Felt like he truly just wanted to fix what needed fixing and not trying to screw you over on anything! I HIGHLY recommend using him, and this will be my go to place here on out.

I have not had the pleasure of doing business with this company due to a very unfortunate event. I attempted to get my truck repaired since the shop was located near my home and I needed a repair quickly. I told the mechanic what the issue was and what I needed him to do. The repair would have taken an experienced mechanic all of 15 minutes to complete, but he said he had too many cars there at the time and he was leaving early. He stated I could come back next week because at that point, he was running late and needed to leave. Before I could get back into my vehicle, a woman pulled up in a minivan. He went over to her and she starting talking while pointing at her minivan. He promptly grabbed the computer that reads the vehicle computer and starting locating her issue.I am normally the last person to claim something is racial and this too may not have been, but the blaring difference between the mechanic and the woman in the minivan in comparison to me was skin color. Other than that, I knew exactly what my issue was; I needed my AC plug drained, and she did not. Either he was dismissive towards me because of my mocha complexion or he was just a plain ole rude person with lousy customer service output! I pray the latter was the case, but, either way, this business will never see any of my hard earned dollars.

I trust Craig explicitly with all of my car repair needs. He is HONEST and dependable and has worked on my entire families vehicles over the past 20+ years. Recently when I had an issue with a repair (the first to any of our knowledge), Craig went above and beyond to make everything right, which is why we will never go to anyone else!

Honest and practical work. My girlfriends car wasnt starting and what we thought mightve been an expensive fuel pump issue was a fix he did with 30 min of labor.

Craig has serviced many of my cars over the past thirty years and I knowwithout a doubt that he has never taken advantage of me and if he findsnothing wrong, even after the car has been on the rack, he says, youdont owe me anything, because I didnt do anything. Anywhere else,there would be a charge for looking for a problem and maybe find aproblem that wasnt there! Craig is an honest man and he does goodwork and will get your car to you quickly. Craig over at Aurora is the most honest mechanic I have found. He doesnt overcharge his customers and he always has a line waiting for him to get repairs done. The other guys down the street I see sitting on a bench (also does good work but over priced) waiting for someone to come up, hoping to make a fortune off of them. Probably because it was their only customer of the day. jkBut I have learned to wait for Craig if at all possible. The quality work at the best prices I have found so far in this city. Took my car to get ac checked because it quit blowing cold air after having some work done on it at Nissan. They could have charged me to check it but instead told me to return it to Nissan as it was completely out of freon and they needed to fix it at no charge. I did just that
