USELESS, UNPROFESSIONAL, FRAUDULENT!!I took my car for a simple lube and oil change.I called ahead of time to confirm that they had time to do it. When I arrived, the gentleman, asked me “ Are you here for Groupon. “ Then he went on to tell me three other individuals had shown up ahead of me. This allegedly happened within 30 minutes of my call . It was 1 pm and shop closes at 5 pm . The man rudely told me to come back some other day . Off course, I have no intention to go back . AVOID this place . Total waste of time .

AVOID THIS PLACE! I was contemplating coming here because I saw a Groupon for an oil change. I called the shop to ask a few questions, and was met with unprofessional customer service. The man who picked up the phone only said yeah? When I called. I had to ask if it was the right number for Certi Tate, as the man didnt identify himself or the company he was answering the phone for. Based on that conversation alone, I was still willing to go in and get my oil changed. That changed when I looked at how the owner responds to negative reviews on Groupon. They are the rudest, most unprofessional comments from an employee that I have ever seen. Customer service does not just count on the phone or in person. This is the 21st century where online interactions mean just as much. There is no excuse for being nasty to people who have paid for a service and are voicing complaints. Absolutely pathetic.

Went to get an alignment. It was no good so I brought it right back. It pulled to the right even with steering wheel straight on flat ground. Later I watched him inflate my front right tire to compensate for faulty alignment. (I work across the street.) Paid him $100 for nothing. Checked psi level, and he raised it to 41psi. That will bald your tire out real quick!Can I have my $100 back? I just spent another $100 on an alignment at Delta.

First review I’ve written anywhere. Awful all around. Pretty certain they did not actually change my oil/filters.Filthy garage and work area full of broken down cars. Guy seemed to be...some type of not sober. I could go on. Just don’t!

Awesome as always. I never wonder about the type of service I will receive, I always receive top notch service. I dont worry about the work done on my car, its always done correctly and along with great professional people to deal with they do NOT rip you off. I am totally satisfied and recommend Certi-Tate Automotive to my colleagues and friends. Lamont is a great person and he takes excellent care of his customers. Being a female you have places that take advantage of you more than not. Here you do not have any worries about being overcharged. Ive been using them for 2 years and will continue to use them going forward. Great experiences!

This was my fourth time having my Ram 1500 serviced and I have been quite satisfied with my experience. The price is always very reasonable. Each time I was in and out the same day and was very satisfied with the work. The manager Lamont runs a great shop.

Solid mechanics that go the extra mile to make sure you car gets back on the road safe and sound. They are thorough, which means it can take longer than you might like, but it’s definitely worth it in the long run. My whole office brings their cars here cause we know we can trust Lamote and his team.

I am extremely impressed with the quality of the service we received and the work that has been done. I will not take my car anywhere else. My husband and I just recently moved to New Orleans. I had been looking for a place to take our car to when I came across a Groupon for an oil change at Certi-Tate on 1108 Elmwood Park Blvd. My husband said the guys there (I didnt go) were great - not only changed the oil but they could hear how bad my brakes were and suggested we come back to have them fixed there. I just left there now - was charged considerably less than I had been in Texas for the same work. Mr. Lamonte was polite, courteous, extremely knowledgeable and worked with us every step of the way. The brakes were done and finished far quicker and for far less than I had expected. It is an incredible weight off my shoulders, not just to have my brakes fixed but above all - to know that I have found a place I completely trust and am extremely satisfied with here in New Orleans. I will not take my car anywhere else but to Lamonte at this location and I suggest others do the exact same.

I dropped my car off to get fixed, and after 2 weeks of sitting there, they had not even gotten started on it.. Very unprofessional

I never post reviews on companies but I felt compelled to with Certi-Tate Automotive. Lamont does good work, has fair prices, is always straight with you, and fixes stuff in a very reasonable time frame. And if your car is dangerous or risky to drive, Lamont and his staff will make sure to fit you in and fix the problem before you drive away. What more can you ask for?

If i could give one star i would this guy has good year all over his shop and is not associated with them at all except for tires.I went there for ac repair guy calls me at work tells me they would have to remove dash condenser was leaking he added freon to my car lasted 3 weeks ac went out again tells me its and old system had to call police to retrieve my vehicle. avoid at all costs owner is rude and lies horrible

Its not the cleanest place and sometimes my car is dirty after they have worked on it. This past time I brought my car there wasnt the best experience Ive had. My car wasnt ready which made me late for my next appointment. (It was there all day). I also had several streaks of grease on my floor mat along with the greasy hand prints on the hood. But I get treated with respect and the prices are fair. Lamont is really nice and usually makes sure my car is ready.

Horrible, Horrible service! Employees are very rude, especially the guy at the front counter! They were suppose to call me when my car was finish, car had been there for 3 hours, for a oil change.they never called, so I just went there to find my car parked in a lot across the street from the building with both of my front windows all the way down. They rotated my tires, without even checking the pressure in them obviously so now I have a light blinking on and off. I will not be returning here for business and will not recommend anyone to go here!

Always fast, helpful, and reasonably priced. Ive been taking my car to Lamont for about 8 years now. By far the best shop Ive ever visited.

Not the friendliest people. Went back twice for the same issue. Hopefully fixed this time. When he backed my car out he went too fast and, he hit my friend with my car and .slammed him into the wall. Blamed my friend for getting in the way. Friend has very sore shoulder and bruised leg. A few more inches and he the wheel would have rolled over hum. The place is also a dump, full of what looks to be abandoned cars. Never again and I will spread the word.

I know when I have any service done Lamont takes care of everything and more. He is the greatest. Im glad I found him.

IF YOU ARE HERE FROM THE GROUPON DEAL DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON!! I read the other negative reviews and thought “oh the good outweighs the bad” but silly me. I purchased the groupon deal after calling to confirm that my vehicle was eligible and I could take advantage of the deal. I also call to check the hours for Saturday. I was told that they stop taking cars by 12pm Saturday. I ran my errands that I needed to and brought my car in at 11:50 (I know I’m cutting it close) and then wait over 5 mins for someone to come to the front desk. I was rudely turned away and my service was refused. Now the issue isn’t that they couldn’t take my car that day but how rudely they declined my service, answered my questions over the phone and overall just horrible attitude. PS if you need more evidence of their rude attitude look at the sarcastic and demeaning replies to their negative reviews on groupon. Now I am battling with groupon for the refund.

So a few months ago I purchased a groupon voucher for an oil change from this business..I arrived at about 330pm only to be greeted by a very unpleasant worker and told that “I am too late to get an oil change and I have to come in early in the morning before they open”. I thought to myself that information like that should definitely be listed on the voucher or atleast on the website but I just said ok and drove off pissed because I had just driven over 20 mins to get to the shop. So today I return and I get to the shop at 712am before they opened at 730am. I was the first and only car waiting until about 5 mins before they opened. I took advice from the same old grumpy man that greeted me last time, to take a walk or have a sit...so I took a walk! Can someone help me understand why I returned to the shop, my car was still in the same parking spot, and 2 other cars that came after me had been serviced before mine??? I walked in and only then does the same grump hop up and get my car...realizing that he didn’t service my car when it should have been. Do you think I received an apology or some type of service recovery..hell no!! I have spent 3 hours at the dump of a shop and did not even get a “good morning” from any employee!! Take the damn Voucher off the website if your gonna be rude and basically hostile towards customers that utilize what u offer!! I will never return to this shop or any shop with Goodyear or certi-Tate on it again!!! So disappointed

Because I work in the area I bought my car here because my AC went out on Friday and had them look at it. I was told it was my compressor and it would be $1500 to repair, I decided not to let them repair it and bought it to the dealership where I would have normally gone to in the first place. Well once at the dealership the cost of my repair was $463 because it was a hose that was leaking and NOT the compressor like they said it was. I believe this place was trying to scam me and I would NEVER do business with them!!! If you decide to go here be sure to get a second opinion of what exactly is wrong with your vehicle.

Woke up to a dead car, massive corrosion, and near tears. They were very willing to come to my house and put a new batter in my car, except that the battery on the VW Beetle doesnt come out that way. So they gave me the number for a really great tow truck (SUPER nice guy, too).It gets better. The battery removal was complicated so they couldnt finish that day so I mentioned that I would need to get a rental to get to class that night. They said not to do that, got the car safely driveable, and me to class!!! I took the car back the next morning and they finisher her up wonderfully!!!I cant say enough positive things, they were sooooooo helpful and kind! They could have easily kept my car for the night putting me in a bind but didnt!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOO VERY MUCH!!!
