Had a maintenance issue occur around lunchtime today that left my car pretty much unusable for anything more than a quick drive to an auto repair place. Went online and saw that this Firestone had multiple appointments still available, booked a 6pm appointment to give myself plenty of time to get over there after work. There is a very clear disclaimer when you book the appointment that you will either get a confirmation email or, if the company is unable to accommodate your appointment for whatever reason, you will be contacted by the company WITHIN A FEW MINUTES of making the appointment. Two hours later, I still hadnt received anything one way or the other. I took time away from my busy work schedule to call the Firestone and see what was going on. When I explained the situation, the man on the phone told me that they were completely booked. I told him I had booked their last appointment of the day, and it ends up they had just cancelled it due to being busy and not told me. I asked the man why they didnt contact me and he didnt have an explanation. To add insult to injury, he sent me the email saying the appointment couldnt be accommodated about three minutes after our phone call finished.I understand that sometimes they cant be accommodating, especially for an appointment made relatively last minute for a slot at the end of the day. But I should not have to step away from my critical patients in order to complete the responsibilities of Firestone employees, especially when its explicitly stated when you book that Firestone is responsible for all further contact. What would have happened if I had shown up at the Firestone for my appointment, only to be told it was cancelled? Its only because I took yet more time out of my busy workday to follow up that I was able to leave my car at my work parking lot with security instead of stranded in a Firestone parking lot in a bad neighborhood. I just moved here from Florida, where I had an amazing Firestone that went out of their way to help you, so to say Im disappointed is an understatement.
The staff at this location was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Battery was dead, I needed 2 tires, and something was leaking🤦🏾♀️…Though I didn’t spend half as much on Uber as I thought I would because I was back on the road sooner than anticipated. So for that I have to say thank you and let the people know where to go when looking for a mechanic. Last but not least, Moe the manager listened to my concerns and offered options. I like options, so there you have it folks. When your vehicle start acting brand new on ya, take it to the crew at this location…if you drive like me, they’ll have you flying like a 🦋 in no time.
Bought a tire from here after popping one on my car. When I got the car back it had break pressure issues. Called them and asked if they could look at it the next day and was told that if I bring my car in at 7am, that it would be seen that day.Took my car in at 7am and was reassured it would be seen that day. This was important because I was going out of town the day after. Didn’t hear anything by 3, so I gave them a call and asked if they had any updates. They said they were going to look at my car next and that I’d hear from them shortly. Didn’t hear from them, so I just showed up around closing time to pick up my car and they said that they hadn’t looked at it and that it would be seen in the morning.Ended up needing to take the car home without it being looked at.
Worst service ever. The “manager” Francois Chartian was so rude. I came in yesterday morning around 10 am (after taking off early from work) to get an oil change and a/c check. He advised me to come in the next morning at 7 am because they were so backed up. The next morning I was there at 7. I asked him if he could roughly inform me of how much the a/c check may be .Francois became upset raising his voice saying “Nothing here is free” multiple times. He removed the key tag that he put on, handed me my keys back and told me I should go somewhere where the a/c check was free. All of that simply because I asked him how much the a/c check would possibly cost. I will not be returning to this location and possibly any other locations because of how bad my experience was here with Mr.Chartian. Very disappointed because I am a loyal Firestone card holding customer and I feel very unappreciated by the way I was treated.
I want to recognize the technician Ashleigh. She recognized me through the garage window when I dropped off my tire and was very friendly and helpful! After I finished inside, she immediately came to my car as I pulled up and got tire out of the car for me. She also recommended I get an alignment since I hit a pot hole pretty hard... 🙄 I am very grateful for her recommendation because it really needed the alignment! This whole store has always been very friendly and accommodating, but Ashleigh definitely stood out as a great technician as I have never had one so friendly and helpful- Thank you Ashleigh!!!
Customer Service doesn’t have a standard here. Called a guy and he was rude. Then my wife called to check in on her tire, the guy said they were finishing up. That next morning THE TIRE hasn’t even come in?!? The guy on the phone lied. Firestone you have to do better.
When I called about my tire on Tuesday Tracy was VERY kind and polite. When I came in later that evening they were going to try to get me in that evening but unfortunately did not have the tire I needed. Jeremy was very polite when I was there and helped me pay for and order the tire. When I went in on Thursday to get the tire, however, the servuce was night and day. They were very busy, which I understand, but the two folks running the phones (Francois and another gentleman who couldnt find my keys and never gave me my paperwork when the job was done) both used very short and annoyed tones with me and all of the customers I heard them interact with. They also seemed very disorganized and kept asking each other where estimates and quotes were. The technician who replaced my tire popped his head in and let me know I need another tire, but there is no way I will return if those two are running things up front.
Got 4 new tires recently. Good recommendation to to put truck tires on my jeep. It rides much better. They got it done relatively quickly. Business has been there a long time.
Went to them when my low tire pressure light came on. Early in the morning.Stood in the main office for 10 minutes before someone asked if they could help me, I was the only one there. When I asked if they could check my tires, I was told that I could leave my car with them, because it would take a couple of hours!I am an Uber driver and cant just leave my carfor a couple of hours! And where would I go? I live in Mississippi!
The service from the start was horrible, Mr.Billy was very non professional very disrespectful, the manager just as horrible 😠 on the hand guys that work there were very helpful !! Mr.Moe was great!!
Excellent service and work. They really helped me out and I saved money!
Horrible service. Don’t even bother coming here
Billy & his team are 5 stars ⭐️
2k estimate for a $130 repair elsewhere. Absolutely do not go here.
Always take care of my mothers car the first time around. Inspired me to get the firestone credit card . When Goodyear said they cant figure out whats wrong with the car
Too expensive, quoted me over $1,000 for a common engine problem. got it done for less than $300 somewhere else
Im Always Pleased with the Service I receive from FIRESTONE.VERY PLEASANT & HELPFUL IN LOWERING YOUR PRICE A BIT.THANX FIRESTONE.💗.ILL BE BACK.
Frustrated! Had 2 tires to get changed. I was told it would take an hour to do. Instead of ubering decided to linger in the area and grab something to eat. An hour in a half later come back, my car is parked in the same location I left it, and the service manager tells me they will put it in the bay soon. Sat and watched 2 more cars pull in ahead of me over the coarse of the next 10 minutes. Grab my keys and went to Pep Boys and was in and out in 15 minutes.
I was a little weary my first time visiting here because they were short staffed and I had to leave my car overnight. But after they got me in short notice today, and assessed and fixed the problem in about 1.5 hours, I would trust them to be my NOLA mechanic. Francois is the best, and he remembered my face and story. Thanks guys.
Had a 350z drift car, no one else in new orleans would align...They took it in, aligned it, and were more than professional, they were kind, knowledgeable, and fast.Thank you again,GarritFkr racing
Oil change was in timely fashion but tires were not rotated as usually done
VERY Professional. Mr. Francois is noligable and informative. Pleasant demeanor. Comforting.
Very different from a bad experience several months ago. This time, workers were friendly and service was attentive. Job finished earlier than anticipated. So they were efficient too.
We had a flat tire coming out of our hotel in the French Quarter... (we are from Tx. And we’re traveling from Orlando, and decided to stop to rest in N.O) long story short, even though I explained the situation to Mr. Franzua (who I overheard him tell someone else he has over 17 years working for the company) he could care less, he had us waiting over three hours!! He wanted to tell me what to do, and what he would do if he was me!!???! All we wanted to do was to get our tire fixed, not to go sightseeing since we needed to get home; traveling with a special needs child, and an elderly over 80 year old relative!!! So how día considered, and sad- because we went to ojos across the street, since we hadn’t had any breakfast when that happened; and I thought I should bring the man some pancakes, just because I wanted to do something nice for him, or anyone who would been able to help us, but he just put them behind him, and still made us wait two more extra hours!! It’s is so sad, that some people can care less about others sometimes, and then another bald guy that works there was claiming that we didn’t wanted to get out of the vehicle when he never communicated that way in the first place, so he could te direct someone to install the fixed tire... so basically NO ONE in that store is neither helpful or friendly 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Horrible service!!!! EVER ☹️
I didnt go for myself, went to take care of business for someone else. And the job that was supposed to be done at the time that they told me it wasnt didnt get done so we have to come back again. This is my experience with Firestone it might be a good place to get your car service, but for me I dont know.
They always take care of vehicle and they are understanding and knowledgeable.
They asked can I help you, soon as Icame in. They answere the phones. Yes we do notice that. Very helpful. Great customer service . I havent seen or expertise in a very long time. Thanks to all of you, mostly Mr. Steve who served me at the front Desk.
I have car shield warranty on my truck, I needed a starter and stalled on my truck. My warranty gets their parts from auto zone, Firestone would not put their zone they would only put the ones they sell on and I wanted $380 for the starter and a 150 to install it so $530 to install a starter. They told the warranty company that it was the starters that they was able to start at Bob pecking on the starter. Well I found another garage to do it for half the money I went to pick my truck up asked them to help me get it started after I paid $30 for them to diagnose it that the starter was out an hour he told him that, They said the starter was shot that we couldnt started when I already told the warranty company they did started by packing on it. My warranty would only pay for the ones from auto zone say was going hath cost me 280 out of pocket After what the warranty would pay. That the place Im taking it its not going to cost me anything. But they refused to help me start my truck so had to have a record come get it. $380 for starter and a parts store has it for a 160. I wouldnt ever for anything in this world go back to Firestone for nothing. This is the 1 at 3500 Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans.
Im from out of state, had a mishap on the freeway thankfully all that has come from it was a broken rim... To my surprise the tire held up for the duration of the drive (many hours-nerve wracking) now its time to take off the tire, next day not that I didnt attempt the night before, one bolt made from cheap metal twisted off the outer layer, all I needed was one bolt removed and Id do the rest, but they were too busy to care. Disabled vet, not that I expect them to snap to and get me gone, I was fine with waiting, but no such chance that someone could step off if they found a moment. Im an ac contactor, fairly well mechanically inclined, give me the tools real quick and Ill pay to do my own work... But no such luck. So before I left, I asked if there was anyone he knew of to help, of course the answer was not a clue-that there is a pep boys across the street-- Im from out of town, Im not expected to recognize the area... But could have done better.
They charge me for something, that the other Auto places didnt charge me. Same Test !!!
12:20 pm I call and speak with a guy who’s name I forgot.I explain that there were two issues. My battery was dead from not driving much so it’d need to be jumped. Second, my front driver side tire was flat and needed to be replaced.“ no problem, sir. I’ll make sure to check the battery and make sure we charge it when we pull it in to replace your one tire.”He went on to explain itd be approximately 2 hours with the possibility of a little more. There weren’t many but there was a few cars ahead of me.No problem. I get it.Call ended around 1224 pm.I call at 330pm. I’m worried I won’t make my meetings I scheduled for 530. I speak with another guy who tells me it’d possibly be 530 or later at this point. There were, yet again, a few cars ahead of me. Oddly enough it sounded like the same amount at 1220. Something was obviously wrong and I express that to the guy.He goes on to tell me they have 100 cars to one employee and how the first should have never given a time. Somehow he believed that was a reasonable explanation for the delay. He also tells me I’m being moved up to the front of the line to get ONE TIRE replaced.I show up at 415 because I knew there was a problem. Sure enough my car is sitting in the parking lot with the hood up.I call again and I get another guy who tells me he has a technician looking at the car now. That’d have been strange since I was standing right next to it.Finally I had enough. The constant dishonesty of this staff is enough reason alone to avoid this location. What could only make it worse was the lack of professional integrity of Lenny, I believe his name was but I’m unsure. He was arrogant and completely incompetent at handling customers. He also acted like we didn’t have a conversation about jumping the battery which we did. That is was somehow my fault the car never got that tire. It was also every other customers fault that he never bothered checking my car out. This place is awful. Do not give them your money or your business. They have no integrity professionally or any respect for your time or business. Find a better place there are plenty out there.
Took my car in to get a tire replaced at 8am. The guy I talked to said it would be two hours and I gave them my phone number. I called them back at noon and they said I had 8 cars ahead of mine. I didnt hear back so I decided to walk to the store at 6:30pm, and it turns out that they hadnt looked at my car. The guy then told me they wrote my paper work down wrong and the problem listed was not what I needed done. So they basically held my car for 6 hours past what they originally said my wait time was and wouldnt have been prepared to work on my car anyway.Just take your car to EBT if you need a new tire. They fixed my issue in less than 15 minutes after I took my car there. EBT is also only a few blocks away, beside Xavier Academy.
Was told there was a 2 hr wait, ended up 4 1/2 hrs to get 1 defective tire replaced and tires rotated. Other than that, glad to get service done.
I only got air! 😊 But I really appreciated not having to wait! 🙋🏽♂️
Great service excellant work. Honest people
In NOLA and need work done on your car? Go here. No ifs, ands or buts, this is the best place for all your repair needs! They take excellent care of me every time I bring my vehicle in. Honest, great at explaining what is needed to be done, and havent once tried to sell me elbow grease or headlight fluid. So long as I travel on four wheels, Ill be coming to this Firestone and I tell all my friends to as well. A lot actually, I think its starting to annoy them...
I was so glad to find out that Firestone is open on Sundays! I got a flat tire on Saturday evening, so knowing I would be able to get my tire replaced before needing to be at work on Monday morning was a huge reassurance. There were many other customers who needed help with their cars as well - Firestone was slammed when I came to drop my car off around 12pm. The customer service rep, Allen, was extremely helpful even under the pressure of having lots of clients to help. When I came back around 4:30pm they were still crazy busy, but Allen and the mechanics were willing to stay late making repairs and adjustments so customers would be able to pick up their vehicles later that evening or first thing monday morning. I was so impressed with the quality of service I received, I will definitely be back for any future auto needs!
Quick turnaround, price not cheap, but not unreasonable. Professional staff
The best! My service advisor, Billy and my technician, Jacob, noted a very dangerous problem with a tire rod and took care of it with my alignment, at no cost too. Billy said we wanted to be sure youre safe. Many times when a woman takes her vehicle in to be serviced shes upcharged for things needed and even things not need. Not today. Thank you and God bless.
Experienced and friendly staff that offer efficient service and a fairly accurate wait time.I have been a customer of Firestone for 30 years. I stick with them for several reasons. They offer nationwide coverage, your information is available at all service centers, they back up their work and they offer specials to keep your routine maintenance items at a lower cost.
Firestone quoted me over $400 more than it ended up costing me to fix my car at a local place, while also conveniently neglecting to tell me I desperately needed my breaks fixed (they were going to be completely worn down within a matter of days). Really disappointed in the service, definitely wont be going back
The guys there are great. Always taking care of their customers.
Alan was awsome. Took care of my car, explained problem areas completely, work was done in a timely and efficient manner. His estimate was exactly what was charged. Excellent service most of all trustworthy !
Avoid this place like the plague. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. They will tell you they will get a new tire delivered for you and give you a call when it gets there. Fair enough. No call a week later, youll call and theyll tell you its been there. Youll go to get it, wait for them to look at the tire for about an hour until they tell you they ordered the wrong one. Not the first bad experience there and Im not dumb enough to make the mistake a third time. Fair warning to everyone else.
The work they do here is Quality
This place tried to charge me $600 for front brakes on a Ford. They wanted to charge me $175 for a single rotor. I would rather crash and die a fiery death than pay this place their exorbitant price to replace my brakes. Shout out to Pep Boys across the street, they got me hooked up with brake pads and rotors for $100.
They stood answering the phones, kept saying they would get to us.Waited one half hour, still they kept answering phones. I,felt like they didnt want to wait on us,because we were African American .Finally we when to Walmart to purchase tires.First time dealing with that Firestone.Guàranteed never to go back. But, I,will let the World know they have bigots working at the Carrollton Store.
Alan was great! If you go here ask for him. He made sure I was taken care of. Ive been about 500 miles on the tire they patched for me and its holding up great.
Needed to get a tire worked on but had the tire insurance on it. The tire was replaced and due to the amount of tread left on the tire the replacement was less than $30. The staff were courteous and very professional. Overall a very good experience and this was done during Essence Fest weekend and the place was packed full of customers.
Manager reviewed my issue with replacing a master cylinder. He addressed & resolved it timely and beyond my expectations. The Auto Tech, Mike, discussed the repair process. I felt confident and assured the work was done correctly. Thank you to the S. Carrollton Firestone location!
Pleasant and helpful staff. Fair prices. Went out of the way to do the best job possible. Excellent customer service!
Great service, excellent patience and communication. The service advisor Allen is great to work with. I recommend my family and friends to go here.
Every time I take my car there it breaks more; they’re taking my money and breaking my car!!! Their quotes are incredibly high! They’re ripping you off. No stars
I have had great experiences at this facility. I was told upfront of the cost of repairs and the capabilities of the staff. The front desk representative could have charged me for a diagnostic inspection but referred me back to the manufacturer because they were not equipped to handle my particular problem.I appreciated the honest and would recommend this shop to anyone looking to get there car repaired.
Great service, honest assessments.
Wasted a whole day here. Only to find out it was something that they did incorrectly to begin with. When that was discovered, it’s still was not corrected as they wanted me to pay even more money to fix it again. Go to Costco, or NTB.
Was in the middle of a cross-country roadtrip when I stopped in New Orleans for the weekend. Went to get a quick oil change at Jiffy Lube, but they wouldnt touch my car after opening the hood and seeing a mess. I took it right across the street to Allen at Firestone who worked way hard to get me the parts and work done that I needed and was in constant communication with me through the entire process. I was back on the road right on schedule by the end of it, which wouldnt have been possible without these guys. 10/10!
Great service. Billy helped me when I came to get my oil changed and tires aligned and rotated. He gave me a coupon for my oil change and talked to me about my car. He didnt try to scam me or add anything extra. The service was fast too. All other staff was also friendly and helpful.
Professional service. My mechanic, Val, was friendly, helpful and overall a chill homie.
This shop is honest and helpful. Ended up needing a lot more work than I expected and they helped me by dropping the price and discounting their top tier tires.Overall very happy with the service.
Always helpful and has great customer service. There is a bit of wait time but I mean what do you expect theyre working on cars. Highly recommended
This place is a scam. Do not go! This site is trying to take advantage of customers who wouldnt know better. It is absolutely disgusting.I came in this past weekend because of a slow leak on one of my tires. They said that I had over 1900 dollars of repair costs (tie rods, bearings and tires needed to be replaced) and that the leak was unrepairable. And when I asked them where the leak was it was in the sidewall. After I told them to stop the work and not complete any repairs, I went home and checked my tire. The leak was from a nail in the main tread which was able to be plugged. I plugged the tire myself. How can you trust anything this place says when they lie for a simple tire leak?
The manager Billy is amazing! Even though this place is ALWAYS busy he has always taken time to listen to what I need done or I think is wrong with my car. I know this sounds like just another review but I drive from the Northshore to come here because this place does me right each and every time unlike places on the Northshore. I trust the people here.
I was assured when I arrived that my car would be done in 45 minuets to one hour. After over two hours of waiting in their waiting area they just realized my tire was not in stock. They are now shipping my tire from another location and I get to wait an additional 1-2 hours. They thanked me for remaining calm. Plain incompetence.
I dont necessarily have a problem with the the service, but they do try to rip you off by selling you parts you dont need. If you go in just to get brake pads replaced, they will absolutely insist you have to get new rotors too, even if you dont, which will about double the price of the job. They are not honest salesmen here.
I got a flat tire on a Saturday and they replaced my tire super fast. They were friendly and professional too. Ill go back for sure.
Dont go here. They didnt deliver for me on their two conditions I gave them.1) I was dropping it off in the morning for a tire inspection so I expect it back by the end of the day (it not only took them all day but they kept it until 11 am the next day)2) Help find and fix the problem I was having with a rubbing sound at 55 mph. (They up sold me and made me think it was a lug nut issue, which it wasnt and I still have the same problem).I appreciated their willingness to help but this place just didnt deliver and to me is still untrustworthy.
Definitely worth the name brand place to get tires you can trust
Best place in town to get your vehicle repaired. They go out of their way to satisfy you. Shane, François and all the others there are wonderful.
Francois was so patient and took time to explain everything to us about our vehicle. I applaud him for being so kind. The service was great and prices decent.
After a Pep Boys complained about not liking the warranty company i had and then lied and said my tire had no leak... I came to Firestone and they treated me with respect and the basic consideration everyone deserves. They located the nail and fixed the leak and were truly great.
Good prices GOOD service
If you want to wait 4+ hours to get an oil change come here! Theyll tell you a time frame when the job will be done and waste your day away! Im still here waitinh for my car to be moved in the shop!!
Well..came in around 9:30am on Sunday 3/1/2015 Service Writer said he would get me out about 11:00 to have 1 tire replaced, already off the vehicle..Its 11:27 my Car was just finished..they were short an employee per the conversation I overheard the service writer having, Overall very pleased with the service. The Staff that was available I feel took care of my situation in a very professional manner under staffed and all.Thank You guys tremendously.
So I noticed my tire was flat last night. I woke up at 5:30 am to change it and put on the spare, then arrived at this store at exactly 7 am when it says they open (today is a Monday). The door is locked so I sat outside for ten minutes waiting. It might be 7 in the morning, but this is New Orleans in July, so its hot and humid. Since no one is unlocking the door for me, I give them a call. A guy answers the phone and I ask if theyre open yet. His response was not yet. That sounds pretty vague, right? So I said that I was standing outside and the hours on the door say open for 7. He says I dont have a technician until 8. I told him that I came here when the place opened according to the internet and their door and I didnt have a ride to just drop it off. I was planning on waiting in the waiting area. I asked if he was suggesting I just come back in an hour. He said yeah, thatd be better. Never once did he try to talk to me in person. This was all over the phone. The door of the business that was supposed to open at 7 stayed locked with me stranded outside. So I took my car to Lewis Automotive off Canal near Carrollton. Firestone can kiss my future business goodbye.
Great store and amazing qualified friendly staff. Highly recommended.
One tire was flat; thats why I showed up. The other 3 were bald. They were very nice and explained everything 😁 the woman who helped me even took extra time to find cheaper tires for me that werent standard in the computer but still fit and work for my vehicle.
My girlfriend brought her car to them for them to just change the rear break pads and rotors in early March they automatically told her that something was wrong with the calipers too when there nothing wrong with at all just saying that to get extra money out of her, she didn’t want to pay for it so they only did the rear brakes and rotors supposedly. So 2 months pass and the car starts making the same noise she brought it in for. I had the car at this time so i automatically knew that the brake pad on the right rear side had been worn down all the way to the metal so it was grinding up against the rotor, didn’t sound great at all. So i took a look at everything myself and see that the pads on that rear right side were worn down just like i expected and the rotor also had been eaten up from it grinding up against the metal at the bottom of the pad. I buy new pads and fix the problem myself then call firestone and asked them what did they do to the car exactly because there’s no way that that brake pad should be worn out that fast. They tell me that they had replaced the rear pads and rotors. I’m looking at the car while on the phone and it honestly looked like they did absolutely nothing. So they tell me bring the car in to let them look at it. Just left from there not too long ago, tell them the situation and they were so quick to try to give me a refund for the new brakes that i bought to put on the car without even looking at anything but the old pads i brought in the show them when they were the ones she paid to do that. So she tells them she wants a refund for everything because she paid about $500 just for rear rotors and pads to be put in. They were only content on giving me the money back for the brakes and told her that she should’ve got the caliper fixed like they suggested when nothing was wrong with it at all. I wouldn’t have been able to put the new pads on there if the caliper needed that much work. So they basically didn’t do anything to the car and overcharged her for their services and when i caught on to them they only try to refund me some $30 brake pads. They knew they were wrong the Francis guy was the guy who ‘worked’ on the car and basically told us we were lying about everything. The rotors didn’t even look new or anything but they charging us $500 for their services these folks just want ya money. Don’t shop with these people they’re real idiots honestly. Hella fake reviews on here too
The staff was very friendly and professional, they had coffee and clean restrooms. They explain what the Mechanics are doing, The mechanic team was fast I also enjoyed sitting there watching the Team work.Thank you Allen and your Team
Terrible. Just terrible. Dropped my car off at 9am this morning to get my front brakes replaced and it’s 3pm now. I was told it’s going to be a longer wait because they are “busy.” Also brought my car there last week to get the rears done and took the same amount of time. As an Uber/Lyft driver they have completely ruined two days of work for me. Will not be going back here.
Steve quickly fixed a minor valve stem issue and had me on my way in about 6 minutes. For free. Good dude, S t e v e!
Told me there was nothing wrong with my power steering when I could barely turn the car. Then charged me $140. Thanks?
Ive been going to firestone exclusively for the last few years. The folks at this location have been the best! Theyve always been fair, honest and patient. Today I had my first bad experience but it turned into a good one. Long story short, there was a misunderstanding of a crucial repair I needed. I was told to come back tomorrow. After 2 cab rides and the inconvenience of being without a car for 2 days, I was not happy. At first there was nothing they could do until tomorrow. Then the nice man at the counter offered to comp the oil change Id also requested and i could go back tomorrow for the more serious repair. I accepted. One of the techs suddenly walked by and said its fixed. What could have been a serious problem ended up being a bolt that needed to be tightened! I offered to pay for the repairs but the nice man insisted that it be free for all the inconvenience. I was thrilled and my faith in firestone was restored :)
Yall are too busy. Go hire more manpower.
Friendly knowledgeable staff clean waiting area and reasonable prices
This place is a racket. Their goal is to rob you blind. I took my truck there to get my brakes done which I admit I waited too long and so additional things did need to happen, but instead of fixing what was wrong they wanted to change what was right too. And I would have allowed them to do it if my credit limit was high enough, but Im glad I didnt. I found a place that cost 1/4 of the price. But lets start with why it really sucks. The man Francois says a brake inspection takes three hours so I needed to make an appointment for the next day and I would be priority. But he couldnt give me a rough estimate as to the cost. So, I brought it in at 6:35am. The place opens at 7. The older white guy with a mustache was there. He drew up the ticket. The guy working on the car was yapping and smoking cigarettes and stopping the guy working on tires from being more efficient. Then finally about 8 my car pulls in and sits on the rack without going up. Then it goes up maybe 10 minutes later. This guy smoked three cigarettes and had five conversations from 7 until about 8:10. So, it goes in the air. He writes something down, has some more conversations. Then he 20 minutes later takes off the tires. He writes something down smokes some more cigarettes and then now Im waiting. The other guy has two cars in the bey and then pushes one out and brings another one in. All the while the other guy is smoking and talking. And people who came well after me are leaving. Then the smoker brings a second car into the bey next to him and all the while Im waiting so I approach the desk and wow the guy has my information, but before he gets to me he finishes with another lady. Then he says I have your information ready and this is when he says they fix even the things not broken and the reason their under warranty tires is shredding is because I wont give them $1200 to fix another problem. This place and most of their employees sucks to high heaven.
Refused to sell me a single tire for my awd vehicle even though any other tire shop would, if thats Firestones policy, its retarded. After agreeing to buy two overpriced tires 15 minutes later they tell me the size isnt in stock even though they said it was, probably because they were closing soon and didnt want to make any more money. Either way had to leave location on a flat tire. If you can avoid this trashy place, make sure you avoid them.
Really bad experience this time. First time it was not good and i tried again.. however i am very disappointed . Really I DO NOT recommend that place at all. If you dont want to work on Sundays you better close like other places.. not be there with the terrible attitude to serve your customers.
For trustworthy advice and superior service for your car, you are in the right place at Firestone. 5 stars for professional services, courtesy and fair prices.
I was very pleased with the work that I had done Ill give them an A plus I will return in the Future No Doubt.
I have never dealt with a worse, more frustrating Firestone in the several states I have lived in. Both myself and my wife have waited for phone calls that never come, pay for repairs that didnt fix problems and having to go back and explain a second or third time because the guys up front dont communicate with the guys under the hood. I will never go there again and my wife cut up her Firestone Credit Card. If they screw me a fourth time, it would be my fault for going back.
Convenient location and great service. I had taken a flat off my own car and brought it in at 8am during the week and luckily they were able to patch and but it back on my car in about 15 minutes.
I blew a tire on a Sunday and live on the northshore so ai waited. Steve was super nice and professional even though they were really busy. I had my tire replaced much faster than expected.
We were treated very well. The service representative saw to our needs and suggested future care that may be needed.
I needed to get back to Georgia that day. I was able to get a oil change and on the road in good time.
Busy, busy Monday morning
Very friendly staff!!! Quick with service and staff are willing to call and give advise on aditional work if needed. Thank you I will continue to come to this location.
I was told two wrong time estimates which made me wait a total of 2 hours longer than the original estimate... all for an oil change. By making an appointment the day before, I hoped this would be avoided. Additionally, I watched the mechanic at my car play on his phone for 45 minutes. Very disappointed about this poor service on such a rudimentary mechanical task.
Tire problem. Took it in and they said I need two new tires and to come back the next day. Came back they put on the tires, took some hours but fine. Dashboarf light still on but they laughed and told me it would eventually reset. As it happens theyd changed the WRONG TIRES. No apologies.
