The iced coffee was full bodied and robust. I did not need to add sugar or want creamer. Teen Mini-me said her frozen frappé was excellent! Not too sweet, but still creamy and rich. Got two muffins (sweet potato pecan) cause theyd just been delivered. The barista was awesome, cool, and accommodating. I teach WGSS and her ink featured women I teach about so, (like Marsha, Stonewall, Angela Davis, etc) all around great experience.

When you walk in, the vibe is a quiet one with music playing to relax the soul while you sit and work on that special project. They sell all types of coffee, that tickle the tastebuds. The Carmel Frappe is not too sweet with a rich flavor. While exploring the Uptown Carrollton District, Check it out!

Been looking at this place for decades? but never stepped inside. After stepping inside, it looks dark (even after lighting) and old. Add the age to the melancholy classical music and the atmosphere is somewhat of a downer.. Anyway the coffe is pretty good. Cafe Noir is good French dark roast that they sell. They have an assortment of espresso. They have some bagels. It looks like most people are students or people wanting free wifi. Pretty good. Maybe consider remodeling

This is a beautiful coffee shop located in an old bank building. It has a lovely aesthetic and is a great place to do work. The coffee I have gotten has been great quality each time.I recommend it to anyone looking for a good coffee shop.I gave it 4 stars, however, due to 2 things I think it could fix:1. the music is SO loud. They usually play beautiful classical music, but on a few occasions the music has been so loud it detracted from the lovely atmosphere.2. I once had the worst barista experience with a man who worked there. I asked if it would be possible to order a Flat White with some caramel added -- a drink I have successfully gotten at many coffee shops as it is my go-to! He proceeded to tell me that this wasnt a Starbucks very rudely. I was just shocked by the matter in which he handled a simple question.Other than that one experience, I remain coming back due to it being such a unique place! I have had nothing but positive barista experiences following that one day.

This is the worst coffee shop in New Orleans. The first time I went there, I got an ice tea and i felt like I was drinking a mucous plug, went in to get an different drink and the barista was incredibly rude. Just decided to give this place a second chance today and bought what I thought was the last slice of cake... but no... the barista actually cut the last slice in half and charged me $5 for it. Do yourself a favor and drive down the street to zotz ... it’s a MUCH better coffee shop

Dont come here for food. Flies in the bagel case and on the windows. Handed us cold bagels in a bag to toast ourselves on a toaster with broken handle. Said they didnt have plates because of Covid, yet there is no mask requirement, no hand sanitizer available, and everyone touches everything at the coffee station. The food service is on level with a 7-11. Nothing is baked here.

I will NEVER return to this establishment again. The service was much worse than the food and the food was barely edible. They do not cook the eggs, they microwave them along with the soggy bacon. Bad as the food was, what really prompted me to write this review is that the guy taking orders was the rudest I have ever encountered. I paid and was waiting for my order when he left the register and walked over toward me and the the girl making the food and said to her $45 ticket, no tip. He said it twice, maybe she didnt hear him at first or maybe he wanted to ensure that I heard him, idk. Why should I tip on a to go order??? He punched in an order and poured coffee... just like they do at McDonalds.... and he didnt even crack a smile or provide any quality of service that would warrant a tip. (A customer after me ordered a bagel, it was given to him cold. When he asked if he could have it toasted the rude one behind the counter directed him to a toaster in the corner. So basically he does the bare minimum and expects a tip). They dont advertise prices but I ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches 4 coffees and 2 pastries which was over $45. For that price I shouldnt have to eat a microwaved egg. The building is beautiful and it seems like a nice atmosphere to study/work. The coffee was good but not good enough to make me return. You would be better off at Dunkin Donuts. I am so glad that Im traveling and this is not my local coffee shop.

Really pretty space, hot up in the loft with no A/C, but downstairs is nice and cool. Helpful staff. Unfortunately no prices listed on ANYTHING so you have to ask and go through anything you might be interested in. Tedious; lost a star for that. Luckily it was very quiet when I was there. Not sure Id bother with that if there was a line or it was busy. Too many equally good coffeehouses around. Had a large iced coffee, pretty standard. Good cranberry scone. What a cool coffee shop. This is a big coffee shop with one large open room downstairs and a more private loft area upstairs. The upstairs area is nice and somewhat secluded. It would be perfect for reading, studying or other activities requiring seclusion. There are also several tables outside which have a good view for people watching. The outside area is my preferred area, but some people prefer the inside. Either way, this is a cool location. The coffee is very good. I am an iced coffee aficionado and theirs ranks very high. They also offer bagels and other food. On my most recent trip I had an everything bagel. It was good, but not great. The staff was friendly and efficient. This location is not in an area I frequent so my trips may be few and far between. If I am in the area again, I will gladly stop in for coffee.

Ive never had a problem with the service here. Ive always found the people friendly and funny, if a bit dry. Also, people seem to get upset that they dont take credit or debit. There is a big sign right where you order telling you that. If you make it all the way to the counter and order without seeming the sign on the back of the cash register, thats your fault, not theirs. Once again, I go there every time I manage to get to New Orleans. Dont let the negative reviews stop you. Take cash, order a great cappucino, have a seat outside, and watch the streetcars go by!
