Everything about Sacred Grinds is on-theme, and the drinks are delicious, too! This is a small coffee shop with the most rad decor. Seating is outside (front and back). There is an attached herb store thats fun to shop post-coffee along with plenty of cemeteries to visit! The iced coffee is amazing and has rich chocolate undertones. The teas are flavorful also. Pick up a punch card because youll want to come back.Covid precautions as of October 2021: Masks required, baristas wear their masks properly, and safety dividers at the counter.

Had a few recommendations for Sacred Grinds while on my pursuit of the perfect chai in the city. The space is small but the theme is enchanting. Both barista were extremely friendly and worked fast. The iced chai with almond milk was delicious. The attached herbal shop is a delight. I only needed a smudge stick but I cant wait to go back to grab some more goodies.

Delicious coffee. Teen Mini-Me and I went back and got a small for ml abuela. Even she approved. The extra Colombian shot kept me going for hours. The chocolate croissant was delicious. The ham and cheese croissant had a slightly nutmeggy or cinnamon taste in the crema that many would find delicious. Im not fond of that flavor profile, but it was still very good.

Nola deej recommended this place, I can safely say that the decor and cemetery was amazing and entertaining to look at. The coffee as well was yummmmm, however customer service is a huge deal to me and I can tell ya that the young man who made my yum yum coffee was not very welcoming at all. I understand that times are hard and tough right now, and I dont know whats going on in his life, but a welcoming hello goes such a long way. So in conclusion coffee good customer service sucked. So fellow googlersAccepts cash,Accepts debit/creditAffordable...some things anyway. Not made for small, running around children who enjoy touching everything 😉

Friendly and welcoming staff are familiar here; they have abundant knowledge of each of the products they carry. There is an array of teas, herbs, books on great topics, incense of many sizes among so many more great and interesting things for purchase. There is Sacred Grinds, a coffee shop, inside as well! I love this place ❤️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️⚜️

A New Orleans native friend told us to try this place. He goes out to cafes almost every morning, and lights sitting next to the cemeteries. This place is a simple coffee house. The person that we had was very new, so The tea wasnt that strong or tasty, but there is a station for you to mess with the tea and add more flavor. Sitting next to the cemeteries in the shade is pretty cool. Vegan options. I got the vegan banana bread! It was very tasty.

Only heard good things plus close to all the Canal cemeteries Sacred Grinds has some outside seating maybe for 4 but way busy street its right by end of Canal streetcar, the coffee is great the neighbors love it but its connected to The Herb Import, great gifts, incense, essential oils, glass products in their back room and ATM, a block before they also own the Shoppe for fun items for both guys and gals

Review №32

The best Iced Coffee in New Orleans. Attached store and seating area is cool enough for a visit. But the coffee and pastries are pretty damn good. They somehow manage to keep several attractive, smiling baristas on staff. Despite the fact its on New Orleans burial grounds, I feel welcome and energized when I leave.

Review №33

This is one of my more favorite coffee shops in New Orleans. The only reason they are getting 4 stars is there is very little seating, which is outside. It overlooks the cemetery which is pretty nice but there is limited seating so stake it out early. The door is towards the back and unless you ask about it you might not even see it. The smoothies are really good, they are next to a headshop with pipes and other stuff too. Good spot, go here before you go to Starbucks.

I have been a pretty frequent customer here over the last couple of years and I’ve got a feel for this business,#1 customer service needs work, also had a terrible encounter with a man, dark hair,Piercings, dressed in business attire while the lady was working, the one with the colorful tattoos,he says to me as I’m walking out “your just gonna use the bathroom and not buy anything” the rudest way possible not realizing that I’m a frequent customer and was just low on funds that day,I would take the bus to work at that time and it just so happen to be out front of the store..I looked at the lady hoping she would stand up for me,knowing she must recognize me as a frequent customer but she just looked at the floor when I looked for her to stand up for me...I was shocked that I was treated so terribly.

Fine for a quick coffee, but nothing particularly noteworthy on the quality of the coffee. More of a targeted crowd who want the incense, spiritual atmosphere and want a coffee at the same time. If you stop by, have your coffee on the back patio which had a nice view of the cemetery.

Really good spicy chai tea lattes! Not much seating and kind of weird that its attached to a smoke shop, but cool vibe and you can really sit right by the cemetary. There were people working on laptops so you can definitely use the wifi here, but I didnt see anywhere that was a non-smoking area.

I have been a repeat customer for years. Even when I moved out of the neighborhood i would bike across town for coffee, and Magick supplies. Until yesterday, when I was told My business is not welcome due to the fact that I was seen fraternizing with homeless people across the street. The homeless people they were referring to were once my neighbors until they came upon unfortunate circumstances. What a shock they would turn away a loyal longtime customer in such a discriminatory manor. Shame on management for this inhumane, immoral, and un-American, policy. Certainly not the environment I will be buying my spiritual supplies at anymore. Very petty. Disheartening.

Neat place. I would stay longer if they had indoor seating with AC. But I can be a bit snobby in this hot weather. The coffee place is connected to an herbal shop. Plenty of options when it comes to baked goods and blends of coffee. Id give it 4.5 to be fair. And staff is good and friendly.

The coffee was ok. The sweets left something to be desired. Maybe I had a bitter taste in my mouth from the very rude employee. BTW, I have never used a restroom in my life w/o purchasing something. I was going to order first, so my sister asked where the bathroom was. He replied in a snotty, hipster voice that she could order first. What a jerk. She really did need a bathroom or we would have left. Worst experience in an otherwise very cool city. Dude, hope three sheets of toilet paper were worth the bad reviews.
