Hip but rather snug coffee shop hiding out in the Bywater. My latte was quite tasty, and the baked goods on display were quite tempting, though I had to pass this time. Theres not a whole lot of available seating, but its not a bad place to grab some caffiene if youre on this side of the neighborhood.

Relatively new spot for joe inna area that prolly up n comin, but needed it. Mr.Gentrification bein what he is... a real b*tch. cozy spot, proud owner, rightfully so. well done interior vibe, downstairs from a Creole cottage setup! what is this 4th wave barista culture by now, whatever. coffee grind average. not a fan o this new drippydrippy technique. its juss Mr.Coffee redux. splendid art and media to be had by all, impressive overall.

Hands down, best coffee in new orleans. serious coffee without the snarky attitude. also, in an effort to be environmentally responsible, they have a “no disposables” policy - so be prepared to purchase a reusable container if you simply have to take your coffee to-go... otherwise, enjoy your cappuccino here, in what is truly an authentic 9th ward vibe.

Sólo is one of a handful of truly exceptional coffee shops in the city. You can count on not only consistently high-quality coffee products but consistently well-made drinks. The atmosphere is low-key and the space is intimate. No chain coffee vibes here and no room full of people staring at their computers. This is the place to come if youre looking to have a conversation with a friend(s), play a game of chess, or just unplug for a while. What to try? I typically shy away from sweetened coffee drinks, but their mocha latte (hot or iced) is excellent. The chocolate syrup (scooped from a mason jar) is dark and rich without being overly-sweet.

They are not overly friendly to you here unless you look like you belong. I dont have facial tattoos or dreds and I wear colors. But the coffee is good. Id love to see them greeting straight people with the warmth they reserve for people in their genre. And Id love to see a few more snack items.I wish them luck and longevity.

Literally one of the best coffee shops in the city in terms of Coffee quality, preparation and knowledge. Its smallish but the atmosphere is cozy and well crafted. The best part is that its accessable but just far enough of the beaten path to not be loud and busy. Its everything a serious coffee person could want.

This coffee shop seems to be based around coffee and community while everything else takes a backseat. Some people wont like that they dont offer internet but they only have limited seating. I believe theyd rather their customers interact than stare into a screen for hours just taking up space. I was just passing through but I felt like part of the community.
