The store owner attacked my friend verbally when she was asking for help with something behind the counter. It was the most disrespectful, rude, and hurtful thing I’ve ever experienced in a store. I will never spend a penny to put in her pocket!!! Went to Humbug spent 500$ and highly recommend over this place! Staff there are helpful and kind!!! And prices much better too!

SUCCESS! First stop for a last minute costume for a last minute invite. Most items were a little pricey yet was able to find a go to tutu & mask at a bargain rate. Was able to piece together a quick ensemble with other oddities from around the house. Floor salespeople❤ were exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The cashier was a bit stoic but what do you expect the Tuesday before Fat Tuesday😂. Large selection of mask, wigs & accessories. Be prepared to be overwhelmed (so many theme-filled costumes) but exhale and ask for assistance.

They tried super hard to find a pair of shoes for me.

Came in for some early Halloween shopping have an incredible selection of costumes as well as any accessory you could imagine! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back for more!!

The store wasnt bad but the lady behind the counter waa rude and didnt greet us at all. Did not even look up or offer us help. Wouldve bought something but I dont want t o be somewhere where I dont feel welcome. What happened to southern hospitality?

Passing thru town and stopped in this shop today, after visiting a few other dance shops around town and being disappointed that none of them had what I was looking for. Amy helped me out with some shoes she had stumbled on a couple days earlier from their huge back stock. Call it fate? Maybe, but I definitely appreciated her listening to the specifics of what I needed and finding a match for me. Very personable customer service, which is not something I find too often in the dance shop world...someone should give this lady a raise! This seems to be more of a costume shop with some basic dance shoes, so I was surprised that they had what I was looking for...they have a lot not on the floor, tho the shop is packed with good finds...if you are wanting something in particular and can’t find it, be sure to ask before you leave :)

Reasonably priced for a costume shop and they usually have whatever piece I might be looking for. Staff is really nice too. They make you leave all bags at the front including purses, which doesnt make me super comfortable and also gets a little awkward when you want to purchase something but have to go back for your purse...

Great selection, good prices, decent service. I find it funny that people complain about the no return/no exchange policy. Its pretty clear on all of the signs. If you dont like this policy, I suppose you arent forced to buy anything from them.Found exactly what I was looking for in under ten minutes.

Really cool place. The people are very very helpful and friendly. They actually did not even have the one thing I was looking for which was dance apparel and still they gave me great suggestions. They have fully put together costumes and pieces. But its not like Spirit of those other places where they just Tacky in the package things. It also happens to be next door to a classic old dive bar with cheap drinks so when you getting ready for Mardi Gras its a perfect afternoon!

They are very rude and they want to demand that you give them your purse. They want to rush you when making purchases. This is my second time shopping there with the same bad experience. I prefer Humbug anyway over this place.

All sales final evidently ooopsie would have been nice to know this ahead of time. No exchanges even with all original tags, receipt and the next day. Kind of extreme policy in my opinion even though I would have upgraded the product. It was my first experience there and Im not in a rush to go back.

I wish so bad that there were better alternatives to this place, they are rude, never pick up the phone and there is a super wierd vibe here. Three people working Im the only customer in the store and no one to ring me up. If I wasnt in desperate need, I would have stored out, but alas they get to be terrible because there arent a ton of other choices

Good costuming store for all your Halloween and Mardi Gras needs. Sales people are friendly and can answer some of your technical questions about stage makeup. Some Plus sized costumes available. There are some very nice,well made costumes for sale, but prepare to drop some $$$ These are not the cheaper imported costumes.The place will be very crowded the weekend before Mardi Gras and Halloween day so be patient.

Awful experience. Had my purse taken away at the door without even a simple hello or explanation. Sales women were friendly and helpful but the two gentlemen were totally unpleasant. I’m a local and will not be returning.

Went with a friend for the 50th time. Were pretty regular customers. We spent around $300 and at the checkout I noticed the dog costumes and asked for the elvis in a small. My dog always wears a small at 6 lbs. Got it home & it was like 4 inches too short. Looks more like an XS. Called the store about 10 times, no answer. Called the following monday and was informed that I can come buy the exact same costume in the next size up but they would not exchange it. I can appreciate a no return policy (especially for costumes) but to be a jerk about swapping for a larger size in the exact same thing with a receipt and original package and the item clearly hasnt been worn is HORRIBLE customer service and ridiculous. Especially when it means losing a customer that has spent literally hundreds if not thousands of dollars at your establishment.
