Always be aware of your surroundings while going to this store. I was leaving the store on my trip to New Orleans and on my way out a black SUV rolled its window down. It was full of men and one asked “will you take a picture of me?” I immediately noted that he was with plenty of people to take the picture, and that he was not even outside his car. I continued walking and then heard the car speed off while a man shouted that I won’t last long in New Orleans.
Its a small convienince store right across the street from the start of the convention center. It isnt the cheapest place in the world but isnt as overpriced as many of the reviews make it seem. You are paying for convienince and closeness and that comes at a bit of a premium. You want rock bottom prices go to Wal-Mart 5 miles away.
Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews. Great selection of snacks and other needs, and incredibly friendly staff. Its a great option when youre staying in the area or at a conference next door- prices are reasonable, and still cheaper than youd pay at your hotels market. Great place!
Expensive
No stars. No refund or exchange allowed even right after paying at register, no sign in store indicating not allowed, phone number on receipt is disconnected. Reported right to BBB.
Way overpriced!! $20 for a 12pk of Budweiser. They take advantage of the area for sure but dont waste your money here
I stopped in this evening to buy an inexpensive bottle of Moscato and Ricola lozenges. I didnt find the markup as significant as others have posted. The service provided by the young man behind the counter was just fine.
Very nice store very things available wine, beer, cigarette and gift.
They made hoghead cheese, OUTSTANDING, got little kick to it, just the way I like it.
Overpriced items and rude service. No southern hospitality at all..
Walked half mile to find its closed at 11.45pm when all site states closing time is 2am.
Seriously $2.50 for a peace tea that is and always will be 99cents and the packaged salads were 3days over expiration date. Stay away from this place
Prices are absurdly high. $4 for an energy drink
1pk of 6 smirnof and and 1 pk of 6 fanta soda can over $20.00 overpriced, maybe because it’s in a tourist area still
Good little convenience store with friendly staff.
People complaining about the prices must not have gone into any other store in the area
Counter associate was snobby and rude; he gave off very unpleasant condenscending energy. Also, everything in this store is overpriced by more than 50%.
Total rip off. Just needed to get a bottle of vodka and the hotel clerks pointed me in this direction. $37 for a 750ml bottle of Stoli?!?! GTFO
Rip off. For example: 21 dollars for a bottle of wine that is 8.99 at Walgreens.
Google states theyre open till 2 AM. They were closed.
Rip off.
