Simply one of the most beautiful places you have to visit while staying in Riga. Basically there are 3 or 4 streets built with a wonderful Art Nouveau style. Streets are located aprox. 15 min walk from the old town of Riga, very close to the ferry terminal. Every building is worth a picture. Highlight of the city for me personally.

This shop went above and beyond to help me get a gift for my wife. They found exactly what I was looking for despite me being able to only recount a few details about the item she was interested in. I ended up being able to provide a perfect little surprise for her birthday. I highly recommend visiting this shop if you love Art Nouveau design.

Really interesting tour around the upper area of the house. Unfortunately I found the downstairs to be hot, stuffy and crowded.I have four stars out of sympathy for the staff wearing large dresses from the time period in question during the summer heat!

A short tour inside a house decorated in art nouveau style, exhibiting household appliances and items from the beginning of the XX century. Worth a quick visit, then hop across the street to the Sienna café to have a drink and cake in a beautifully decorated quaint stop.

I love this business, even if the stuff is not original. You can afford them and dream of Art Nouveau at home.

For only 6 euros you can enjoy 3 floors of pure European and Asian art with samples of real jewels from France, Belgium, Indonesia, Japan and Latvia of course, among others. Sculpture and painting fill this beautiful museum in the heart of Riga. Elevator for people with reduced mobility. Optional audio guides. Wifi. Cafe and bookstore. Recommendable. Closed on Monday. And other days from 10am to 6pm. It is a beautiful building where one of the most prestigious local architects lived: Constantino Peksens.

A couple of streets are worth visiting, those where the buildings are restored. There are real wonders.Riga is the city with the most buildings of this type. Eisenstein, the filmmakers brother, is one of the great architects who made such splendor possible.
