First time trying a twistee treat and enjoyed it. Lots of selections for all your sweet needs.

Best service and yummy soft serve in lots of great flavors! Love this fun spot!

When we arrived they were out of every flavor except vanilla and almost every topping. The workers were goofing around in the back and a long line of people were waiting to receive their ice cream that they had to ask for multiple times. When the ice cream came out, it was often done wrong. Don’t waste your money or time here — I’d rather go to McDonald’s. It was a bunch of kids with no management.

Can you say anything bad about ice cream? Line was a little slow but the ice cream here is way better then any other place. I beleave with is made with actual cream now water and you can definitely tell is the ice cream. Its way smoother and much more silky then many other ice cream places. Makes for a much better experience!

We tried this place as our usual was too packed. They were fast, super friendly, and had a really fun selection. The ice cream wasnt my absolute favorite but it was good.

Cheap, average ice cream. Pretty limited selections for an ice cream place. Chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream with topping(s). Tried to order more than one topping but the woman made it very clear and direct that it’s one topping only. The ice cream sandwich was two small cookies and about five inches of ice cream so impossible to eat as a sandwich unless you’re able to unhinged your jaw. Toppings tasted stale.

Super yummy creamy soft serve in an excellent convenient location close to the beach! The only down side was that they were out of lots of flavors/ toppings but the cheesecake topping was great

A shout out for a friendly local spot where you can expect a warm smile and ice cold soft serve! My super creamy strawberry swirl ice cream took me back to the delicious middle school cafeteria days when we couldnt wait for strawberry milk shake days. Twistee Treat, you made my day:) TY

They were really slow and were making up drive threw orders while we were waiting for our ice creamand else were there first they did atleast 5 drive threw orders that werent there before us before we starting getting our food I had to wait almost an hour for our ice cream nice people but cmon the people who are sitting outside in the hot sun that ordered first should come before people in a nice car with AC

They offer food and ice cream. I ordered a burger which was very good! I am very selective where I go for burgers and would definitely go again! The ice cream menu offers a large variety. Prices are good! Service was fast for both food and ice cream which was a surprise due to the lines but moved and served all in record time. There are covered tables outside. This is a nice addition to the beach atmosphere!

Usually excellent ice cream but today it was sour like the ice cream ingredients were off and it was inedible. So disappointing. I hope management has better quality control over the product.

Twistee Treat was very delightful, my wife and I took our grandkids thats part of an outing. They all had ice cream cones and thought they were delicious. I had a chocolate shake which was very tasty indeed. This establishment has been around for awhile and it has quite a following, and quite rightly so. Do yourselves a favor if youre in New Smyrna Beach, either use the drive-thru or the pickup window and enjoy a nice ice cream at the beach

Oh my goodness! Twistee Treat in NSB was so good! Youve gotta try this soft serve ice cream! Its really good! And the cherry dip tastes like cherry coke! Yummy!

Well it was not the best one we have been to.My Banana split didnt have any bananas. Then they didnt have any strawberry ice cream. They offered extra ice cream and didnt get any along the sides to replace the banana. They asked how I wanted ice cream and said chocolate then vanilla then chocolate again. So then I got vanilla chocolate and vanilla. Messed that up as well. Now the wife and 3 kids we all good and enjoyed.

I just love this little place! It makes me so happy every time I pull up because A) I’m getting great ice cream and who doesn’t get happy about that! B) the people who work here are amazing! Sierra, Dawn & DJ take excellent care of me each and every time I pull in! C) Pricing is fantastic and just a kiddie size fills me up! Best $3 and change ever spent!This place is my favorite place for ice cream!

I waited 30 minutes for my ice cream. I don’t appreciate this because it could have been 10 if the workers weren’t dancing and fooling around in there. Not acceptable. I am upset with Twistee Treats. They should not be dancing when they are at work when many people are leaving. Not good. Don’t recommend.

Amazed. I truly am. with a location right next to Publix, you may lose some customers if you don’t stand out and up. this is not a problem for this sweet ice cream, food, and, drink shop. cheers to a great restaurant!!

Very, very busy and not enough help. There were many people on line in cars as well as the walk up window. They ran out of some items (good that they sold a lot) and in the end the wait was worth it.

Really good for soft serve ice cream and shakes and stuff.

Great people to assist in your order. Personally, I would prefer scoop ice cream rather than soft serve but we still enjoyed the stop...

This is, by far, the creamiest ice cream we have ever tasted, and we look forward to arriving at NSB every winter just to enjoy this treat. The manager Dawn is so personable and lovely to talk to. She has a great smile, talks to us as if we are friends of hers. You have to try this place...truly!

I am not a huge sweets/ice cream fan but my wife and daughter make this the first stop when we come to NSB if they are open... they also tell me it deserves 5 stars.We call this place the Cozy Cone because it kind of reminds us of what an ice cream place would look like in the “Cars” movie series.It can get crowded and it does have a drive through which is also nice.Daughter/Wife’s TIP - Cherry dip cone with rainbow sprinkles.My TIP. Always listen to your wife & kid. 5*

The girl working the drive thru window with the blue braids was very rude and unhelpful answering questions we had about the menu. I intentionally said thank you 3 times in hopes of getting a you are welcome. Many locals have warned us of good ice cream but horrible service. Will not return. Bad customer service really put a bad taste in my mouth.

They laughed at me, but we all laughed together. Best waffle cone I’ve eaten. And those tacos really look like they taste like a quality taco to put in my mouth.if I could put 10/10 I would.

We were here on Monday, June 7 at 8:30pm. Staff was extremely rude and did not acknowledge us for at least 20 min. Would not return and very dissapointed

Friendly establishment for ice cream treats but somewhat slow service. I appreciate accuracy but every order in our group had to be repeated, sometimes multiple times. May or may not be the first choice next time.

Worst place to go they messed up order more than once. Held on to my card and charged twice. Had 3 people ask me what the missing item was.. SMH maybe if they were not laughing and joking they would be able to get their orders correct. NEVER AGAIN

3rd time here I was very good nice employees good ice cream never had an issue with this place. And they also will give you free dog cups of ice cream upon asking. I recommend this place anybody visiting the area or living in the general facinity never had a let down from this place.Always good ice cream.

We got there at 8:45. we didn’t get to the window until 9:15, where we sat at the window waiting to order for 15 minutes. We waited in line for an hour before we got our ice cream. The reason we got for why it took so long was because drive thru was backed up but there were only 7 cars in the line. The wait would have been a lot longer if it wasn’t for multiple people leaving the line before ordering.

They dont have 31 flavors or Dilly Bars, but they have a large array of frozen concoctions. Jennifer was a real treat in the drive thru. Service with a smile! 😊

TOOK FOREVER TO GET MY ICE CREAM AFTER I ORDERED IT. I GOT A MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP MILK SHAKE AND IT TOOK AROUND 15 MINUTES. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. ESPECIALLY THE WORKERS WERE DANCING AND MESSING AROUND.

Good chain that serves decent ice creams. Good and fast service. The building itself is kitsch and original, it deserved a star more just for that.

I get it, covid. But to have the drive thru open but not the window is non sensical. Especially since the drive thru order speaker is broken so literally you have to order at the drive thru window. Extremely similar to taking a patio window order... But the15 year old running the drive thru window said he wont help me unless Im in a vehicle - he doesnt want to get in trouble with his manager. This place clearly doesnt have thier act together, avoid.

Terrible experience, wish i could leave 0 stars. one girl was working drive thru as well as window. The other girl working was sitting on her phone, leaving over 20 costumers standing outside the window.

Always had a good experiance considering that these are kids that dont really need to work. So, good job kids. At least you act like u need the job. And stop parking your parents BMW so close ro the shop, your customers will put a scratch on it. LOL

I’m honestly not sure if it was a one time thing but my husband ordered me a strawberry chocolate dipped cone he got coconut. His tasted more like tanning lotion and mine melted super quick and the strawberry was more of fake syrup flavor which was very heavy and I ended up sick last night from it. Maybe look into more natural ingredients instead of artificial flavors. The ice cream was also overly sweet. The chocolate dip and waffle cone were good but I can’t really compliment beyond that.

My husband and I love Taste Treat - we go there a couple times a week and we LOVE it. Dawn and her gang are super nice and will do anything for you. We feel like part of the family. Definitely a “go to” New Smyrna Beach thing to do.

Went there June 9th in the evening and nothing but a bunch of kids working there screaming at each other talking about whos hooking up with who. Can barely hear the girl talking on the intercom over everyone yelling at each other. Not to mention since everyone was goofing off my whole order was wrong, every item. There needs to be an adult present... Ive been about 5 times in the past month and 4 of those times I have had something wrong with my order. Makes me want to stop going to be honest

Very good Ive cream, all soft serve with many different flavors like cotton candy and coffee ice cream. They have a nice drive through which is convenient especially on a day like today when it is windy and rainy out but you still want a treat. My favorite is their fancy waffle cone dipped in Cherry dip with rainbow sprinkles and coffee ice cream!!

Ice cream with food coloring. NO flavor, and bigger than we ordered. Which would make people happy but bad and waste.

Extremely large amount of flavor options, toppings, mix-ins, everything. Service has been great and they clean the building every night it looks like, which keeps it looking very well kept (even if the building design is a bit tacky). The ice cream is tasty and their brownies are some of the best. My only serious complaint is the sizes are absurd, I went as small as a childs cup (kiddie) and its still WAY too much ice cream.

Came here for the first time not too long ago and it was awesome! I really loved the soft serve style ice cream, especially the special flavors - I had gotten the peanut butter - and wow! So yummy. The prices are pretty good and the hours of operation are great, especially when you have a late night sweet tooth. Definitely recommend!

The ice cream is some of the best in youre. Service is always slow, your gonna stand there a while. There are normally only 2-3 people working and they just get slammed.

I used to live in edgewater for a few years and almost every single time after I hit the beach by myself or with family/friends I’d always stop a twistee treat for a come it’s just so worth it . I’m New Yorker and the ice cream perfection just reminds me of home. I still come to the area occasionally and pick up a cone. I’m in the area now I just hope they are still open due to corona
