The staff were super nice & helpful. They have very nice products. The store was a little over crowded & a little challenging to get around but a good variety of things & prices were decent. Definitely worth checking out.

Not sure about some of these negative reviews. We have been buying buying furniture from NUF for the last 10 years. I am always referring people to them because of the good customer service, free delivery a free setup when delivered. If anything needs to be assembled they will always assemble it ahead of time for free prior to delivery. The main thing to remember with NUF is they have limited/crowded space in the showroom so most likely they will need to order what you need. The owner Ben is like a computer and can locate pretty much anything you are looking for in one of their vendor catalogs in a matter of minutes. And as far as the person that complained about no La-Z-Boy prices on their site. You just need to figure out what model/fabric/color you want and then call Ben for a quote. They do stock some pieces but probably not what you want. We bought a leather reclining couch, reclining love seat and rocker/recliner (see pics). Got a quote from Ben and then called La-Z-Boy showroom in the cites to compare prices. Ben beat their prices by about $1,500.00 and the showroom in the cities quoted us based on buying the next day at their one day only Presidents Day sale. Of course there would not have been free delivery with them either.

I was super excited to find that we wouldnt have to wait till April, which is what every store is saying because of the pandemic the manufacturer is behind from shutdowns. Instead, we found the matching loveseat at New ulm. The only downside is they do not dispose of your old furniture for free like Wise and lesuer does. I discovered, upon delivery, that they will not even move the existing furniture. I even mentioned that I just had back surgery so while they went out to go grab the item I had to try and slide the couch over. They wouldnt even slide it 3 ft for me so the other one could fit. When they left its like they were thinking they would get a thank you? I have strained my back that I had just had surgery on. The only reason I give it three stars is because I was happy to at least have the furniture six months early. each time I called if I got the wrong person its like they had dropped off the marbles and couldnt put anything together... Didnt seem like the other salespeople wanted to answer questions that I had if the man who sold it to me wasnt there.

Excellent customer service, very helpful and friendly. My husband and I just purchased a couch from them and everything was perfect. From the time we walked in the door we felt welcomed, I highly recommend New Ulm Furniture!!!!! We will be visiting there soon for some patio furniture

Tried shopping the website- no prices on La-Z-Boys. It says, call for our best price. I went to your website for a price; you dont want to display it, fine, Ill shop elsewhere. I dont want to call. If I wanted to call, I wouldnt be on the website. Furniture stores are run by snake oil salesmen.

We bought our entire bedroom set from them. Delivery was quick and free. Set up done professionally. We felt unfortunately that there was a color match problem with the headboard. There was no fuss or argument on New Ulms furnitures part. The headboard was replaced in a timely manner, with no additional charges for pickup, installation or delivery. I would recommend them highly.

I started to write a long winded review on how horrid the last 8 months of dealing with New Ulm Furniture has been than realized.....this is so bad that no one is even going to believe me, everyone will just think I am a crazy person.......I am not a crazy person. I would highly recommend saving yourself the time and trouble by going elsewhere.Edit: The response below is from a previous review I left. New Ulm furniture did contact me privately to remedy the situation they apologized and asked me to delete my review and give them one more chance. They stated the furniture was in and it would be delivered the following week, so I deleted the review..... 3 months later and we never did received our last piece of furniture. We just said forget it and will be keeping the damaged floor model that they were kind enough to supply.

My name is Mark I bought a leather sofa from NEW ULM FURNITURE and it was delivered damaged. I was told by the owner someone would come out and replace it...It now has been over 6 months and I still have a damaged sofa. Now they wont return my phone calls..NO SERVICE AT ALL. I would not recommend ever buying from this store!

Why cant I publish my review I just wrote a long review and couldnt get it to publish so will try again--I bought a Lazyboy recliner at NU furn. in 2007--the footrest has never worked and I have had them pick it up 4 times for repair. I just got it back on Tues. and today (Fri.)same thing - the footrest does not go down. I will not buy another lazyboy nor will I buy another piece of furniture from NU furn. again. the sad thing is my handicapped son just bought $1200.00 worth of furniture there this fall. I wish we had went somewhere else. The recliner was in their shop for 4 weeks this last time--I am sure they did not do a thing to it.

It looks like everyone is having the same issue with this furniture store..There is honestly no service at all from them. Our bed my husband bought 3 weeks ago is still having the same issue it had when we got it. No one will come out or replace it..I dont know what to do maybe commenting on here will help..I hope. I would not recommend this store at all im sorry New Ulm furniture
