The Godfather to my son works at the WalMart in New Ulm and he requested the day off weeks in advance to be able to attend the baptism of his godson. The request was completely ignored and here we are 12 hours before the ceremony and we are figuring out how to work around this. What kind of organization cares so little about it’s employees that it would do such a thing as effectively deny their workers to attend religious events. Unbelievable. Shame on you WalMart.

Not to keen on the self serve checkout. It was nice when they had cashiers to help you do the checkout. If I have to do my own checkout they should pay us to do there job. Make the customers do the cashiers job.

Used to have a great customer service but as of late they change your policies just like their other Walmart changes their policies to a s*** show

Seems normal except, went in for simply a cap. Looked throughout the whole clothing area and finally found some or more like 3 or 4 caps and it was for womens. Search all over again and only other ones I found was kids caps. So try again but wasnt successful so decided Id rather wear something for a man but small instead of the right size but for a woman. Been a while but this walmart has no self checkout. Saw caps 1 on the ground, 2 on the self, and 1 out of no where, with some clothes mixed together with the caps section. Doesnt seem like its being well maintained at all compare to all walmarts Ive seen.

So tried calling 4 times to try to order a cake and the phone just rings and rings and then hangs up on you. Great customer service. Very nice lady at deli transferred me twice to bakery i asked her the 2nd time if anyone was in the bakery and was told yes. Must be to hard to answer the phone. Guess they dont need orders..

I am a clean freak so its very important. This is one of the cleanest Walmart I have seen! I gave them a 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

They need more checkout employees and not expect everyone to check themselves out. Especially if youre grocery shopping for a family of 6. Otherwise very nice employees.

This is one of the best Walmart supercenters in my opinion. Its always well kept and all the employees are helpful!

This Walmart never has enough registers open. They dont acknowledge that when there are people waiting in line you may want to open more registers. Staff stocking are always in the middle of the isle. Great stock the shelves, but make the isles passable! Produce not properly marked. Frustrated customer.

Nice, but somehow half the self-check-outs are out of order all the time.

The shelves were empty of the things I needed. Then what I did find I went to go pay. Since one purchase was a phone card I was going to go thru a lane. There was over 15 ppl waiting to check out at the one lane that was open I have a 2 year old so waiting in a huge line isnt an option. So I went thru the self check out. There were 10 ppl in front of me waiting for a terminal. U would think the 6 Walmart employee standing there looking at us would have opened a other lane or two. But no they didnt

Couldnt sell me a phone, couldnt get me set up, didnt have service to help locate like anything. Told me they had what I needed but didnt when I came to pick it up yesterday. All around grocery shopping and self service is fine.

Tried to contact the vision center and not only are they not listed but the phone number for New Ulm Walmart isn’t even a correct number

Shop here regularly. Its a great store. The employees are friendly and help as much as possible. I usually use the pharmacy and you can tell they try their hardest to be as nice and as fast as possible without being rude when there is a rush. Also the pharmacists are great people and dont judge you or look at you any different no matter what kind of prescription you pick up. And I cant say that for alot of other pharmacists around the area! Great place!

Get followed around as a suspect the workers and secret shoppers want to mainframe me that i was stealing,,, because they judged me because i dont dress like a young church boy.

I really like the New Ulm store so much more nicer than Mankato store!!

I had no issues with Walmart. The online locator is awesome. Customer service is great. Store was clean. The greeter was over the top friendly. The shelves were stocked, which is not the case for every Walmart. It was an awesome experience.

About had a heart attack they had 4 lanes open with a 5th one been called as i was leaving.

They never have anything i go there for. My last trip was to get a gaming console. After looking for help for 15 minutes i found someone. They said you can only order them online as they dont carry stock anymore. I knew he didnt know what he was talking about so i asked another employee and he said March they would have more in stock. Three times in a row now i have walked out empty handed. Very disappointed.

Not a fan of Walmart but unfortunately my Aldis doesnt carry the frozen mango chunks my daughter is addicted to.Walmart could step up their game by charging for their bags and carrying more eco friendly paper products.

Customer assistants in the sporting section is a ghost town. I think I could have built a small garage before anyone would show up.

In addition to my previous review I also believe this store could do a better job of removing expired food from the shelf. Should the customer need to check code dates or should the store be held to a lower standard for leaving expired items, especially refrigerator products.This post is a review of online web orders, dont expect anything when ordering online from Walmart, Ive ordered tires office supplies and had orders sent to the wrong address and not refunded, an tire orders cancelled the day after they were supposed to arrive.

Lazy people must work at Walmart Supercenter in New Ulm Minnesota say this because its like walking into an Aldi when you walk into this store now theyre not even unloading can goods and glass jars onto the shelves theyre leaving them in their Flats so you have to pull a flat out in order to get the product Aldi does this and you know they do this because they tell you they do this to save money and they passed that on to you cuz Walmart or are they just being lazy this is a shame

Walmart in New Ulm is a handy store for some household items you may need, but this store stocks and restocks very poorly. New Ulm Walmart and Target (now long closed) drove out the down town businesses we all loved for years and here we sit with no other shopping choices for Dept stores. The workers are few and far between. USUALLY LONG LINES AND WAITING FOR CHECK OUTS. Staff are overworked and frustrated. A few maintain pleasant attitudes, some do not. It depends on the day. Stock your shelves Walmart! The second star is for the few employees that keep their smiles going, otherwise there would be only one star.

The girl at the service counter forgot to give me my id back. Called the next day, it rang and rang. Called 5 times before I reached a person. Told me she would call back in a half hour, never did. Called the next day, 3 times, person looked,said no my license wasnt there, supervisor then came and YES they had my license.

Horrible, I had to wait until the two cashiers got done complaining about their jobs and how they were going to put in their two weeks notice before she turned around to help me.

Id say approximately half of the people there (customers) do not wear masks. Take the initiative to protect yourself when you are shopping. I would even wear gloves if you have them.

Store not bad; music piped to the outdoors is intolerable. Is there no space for quiet??

Employees not knowing where stuff is at. Plus waiting at the pick up area for 15 min. So someone can grab a box for you thats ten feet away. 3 employees walk past and say sorry there not trained for this department. Just terrible

They are not cleaning anything anymore they had one lady at the self checkouts that did the cleaning of the machines she was great otherwise the cashiers did nothing to clean. I also had an issue with the post giving me my change the lady that was working in that area was unable to fix it the csm that came to assist was very rude to her fellow employee I can only imagine how she would treat a customer in need of help
