I had a great experience at Wona! I got to try on gorgeous dresses & Bridget was so motivational and kind. I really would have loved to have bought a dress here, but my wedding got moved up several months & a rush order fee was not in my budget.I’m so grateful that I was able to try in my dream dress (look in the photos for a gold glitter extravaganza) & that the women who work here were attentive and so helpful. My fiancé enjoyed seeing me in a couple dresses (he wanted to be part of the process).

I went shopping with my future daughter-in-law and her mom and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Sylvia was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She quickly figured out what type of dress my future daughter-in-law wanted and brought out a few beautiful dresses, one of which was the perfect one. Her advice was excellent. I had an amazing experience today wedding dress shopping! I worked with Ava and Bridget to find a dress I loved. They both were so helpful and suggested amazing dresses that they thought would fit my venue, ring, and personality. The showroom is absolutely stunning and everyone was so kind. I felt very comfortable. Not pressured to purchase or pushed into to trying things I didn’t like. Overall, this was a luxury experience for us and especially me! I gave 5 stars to Michelle who was incredibly helpful and kind on April 2021. She made the experience very pleasant for me and my family! The space was nice and well-lit. I loved all wedding dresses I tried on and had a great time 👌🏻But I now have to update my review.Since that appointment i decided to buy one of the dresses for my wedding in August 2021. It took me 2 weeks of trying to reach anyone via phone to place the order. This was frustrating and unprofessional. Eventually, Bridget decided to call me back after the tenth voicemail. Since I managed to place the order and paid 50% of the deposit, I have called several times to get a time estimate to pick-up the dress. There isnt enough time until the wedding anyway, and I have to make arrangements to drive to NYC from Philadelphia. I have not been able to talk to anyone that could help me for TWO months now!!! I just called now again and I can no longer leave a voicemail....I have no idea if my dress is coming this month and if I am going to be able to take it with me when I fly out of the country next month. This has been the worst customer service Ive experienced in this industry.

Tldr: WONA is a MUST visit. You will compare all other salons to WONA.WONA is the exact picture I had in my mind when I imagined what wedding dress shopping would be like. I had already visited a couple salons in NYC and they cannot compare to my experience or the ambiance at WONA. The dresses are GORGEOUS and high-quality. You will notice the difference. They also come in sample sizes up to euro 40-42 for my ladies with assets. I am a street size 10-12 and was able to fit beautifully into their dresses, which makes it so much easier to visualize. I found that most salons in NYC have smaller, limited sample sizes which meant most werent making it past my 41-in hips!The salon is spacious yet intimate, glamorous, and well-lit! Which was SO important since our friends and family cant travel to be with us during this time and they are relying on the photos and videos. Sadly none of my wedding party could join, but my personal consultant was Callie and she was my hype girl! I LOVED it. But I truly felt like the entire salon was invested in making me feel beautiful and finding the best dress for me. I never felt rushed or pressured to decide on the spot. The salon manager, Bridgette, was also involved in the process and encouraged me to cat-walk down their hallway and try feeling out each dress I liked. Good luck with your shopping, ladies!

DO NOT GO HERE - this is a honest reviewI traveled all the way from TX with my sister for her “scheduled” AND “confirmed” 11AM appointment on a Saturday. When we arrived on time, there were 2 other women waiting outside for their 10:30AM appointment. That right there was a sign and we should have left. When one of the workers finally arrived, she said “would have been nice to know there was a 10:30AM appointment” they don’t even have access to the schedule 😑.... once again another sign that we ignored - not even the staff and management are on the same page - UNPROFESSIONAL. They were waiting for 30 minutes!So we go upstairs, and we wait. Then come to find out that my sister was never on the books, that’s interesting since we called and confirmed several times. The owner also lacked professionalism, when speaking with my sister she said “well we actually had you on the books for virtual but I’m not going to go back and forth with you.” We left, they DO NOT deserve your money or time. The dresses may be pretty (and that’s an overstatement) but their service is ugly.Please if you care about good service don’t come to this place. My Mom warned us while we were waiting outsidewith the two women who had been there 30 minutes waiting outside. When people show you who they are. Believe them . When we finally got in, that’s when we found out that there was a “scheduling error” and tried to blame it on my sister. By this time they lacked all credibility.I’m sure the owner will respond with a subpar response and a lack of acknowledgment.

WONA was my first bridal store visit and they made a lasting impression. I visited 3 other stores after, but WONA had my heart. My first consultant Callie was amazing and my interactions with her made her feel like a friend. I went back to WONA for a second try-on and even despite a mix-up in the system that showed no appointment, Bridget managed to get me into my dream dress and I was in and out in within an hour, and I got my dream dress! I had such a wonderful experience at Wona Bridal! When I entered the showroom last March I was wowed by the quality of the dresses and expected them to be out of my price range. When I put each dress on I fell and in love. This was the 5th dress store I went to and I found “the dress” that same day! The service was impeccable and everyone was so helpful! They also introduced me to my favorite Prosecco which was an added bonus! I’m so thankful that I stopped by this shop! I was supposed to have an appointment there yesterday. I made the appointment online. Got a confirmation email and text. I showed up, all the way from NJ, only to find out that my appointment did not exist. I don’t know why the only scheduling system online is there if it doesn’t take appointments apparently. Not only that, the manager was very nasty.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. When purchasing they promise you all sorts of things and are super friendly. They offer discounts for a good review which my guess is the only reason they have 5 stars. For something as important as a wedding gown you should be able to get in touch with someone about your order at the very least. I ended up purchasing from someone else and loosing my deposit due to horrible management.There are a million other places to purchase a dress in nyc that have actual customer service methods in place rather than just one woman that poorly runs the entire show. Also, the quality of dresses look much better in online photos than in real life.

I went to Wona for my first bridal appointment and had the most wonderful experience! Kasey was my consultant and she was amazing, so lovely and made me feel at ease instantly! She was honest and so helpful as well as truthful in what suited me and what did not! I wasn’t sure what style I wanted and Kasey helped by bringing out one of each so we could really find what I loved most. It was honestly the best first appointment I could have envisioned and glad I went to Wona first. I will be going back for a follow appointment and can’t wait!

My sister found her wedding dress here about 2 years ago and she had such an amazing experience that I was very excited to come back for myself when I got engaged. Unfortunately, the salon manager has changed a couple of times within that timeframe and the current manager is very unprofessional. I’m from out-of-state now, so I made my appointment a little less than 2 months out and a week before my appointment, I got a text from the salon manager at 7pm telling me that they could not accommodate my appointment any longer and told me to call the salon the next day to reschedule. At first I was really disappointed because I had already scoped out a couple of dresses that I really wanted to try on, but that feeling quickly changed after I called multiple times and left messages, as well as texted, over a 4 day period with no response back on rescheduling. Finally the salon manager returned my phone call and when I asked why they couldn’t accommodate me it was because of staffing shortages and then told me that she didn’t have to give me anymore details as to why.. they have 5 women listed on their website, but the salon manager is the only one working? Even if that’s the case, it’s fine, but you clearly have to know about this further in advance when you have two brides booked at the same time on the same day...Anyway I was frustrated by the whole situation of continuing to call and text with no response back and I would say that I was not rude but was direct and stern by the time the manager called me back, which made her defensive and very rude back to me. She told me to call back to reschedule when I had time to cool off…great customer service right there. Shes not someone I would want help with in finding my dress based on her attitude, so in hindsight, I’m so happy my appointment was cancelled.

I couldn’t have had a better first dress try on experience than the one I had at WONA. Callie was the best assistant I could have asked for and was great at hyping me up and just being a genuinely nice person who listened to my insecurities and suggested dresses that worked around them. While I did not find my dream dress at WONA, the selection and staff they have there are next to none and I could not recommend it more for future brides. THE BEST. OK so I have been the most indecisive bride so far. Wona was the sixth bridal store I visited and I am so happy to say, it will be my last. It knocked Kleinfeilds out of the park! From the second we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest, happiest people ever - Callie & Bridget. They were professional yet personable. I felt like we’ve been friends forever! I was looking all over to have that special “bridal moment” and I finally had it here. All of the dresses are so stunning and unlike anything I’ve tried on so far. I felt like a superstar! The cleanliness of the studio was also top notch. I wish I can go dress shopping every weekend at Wona! I would recommend over and over again and I will truly never forget my experience.

I really wanted to have a all around great experience here but the follow up has been very poor and disheartening. I went to Wona in Oct to try on dresses for my wedding and the bridal consultant was AMAZING! Honestly can’t say anything bad about her she was a gem and very helpful. After my appointment, I decided I’d found a dress I wanted to take next steps on so i contacted the store via email and no response back not even few days later or a week, they just never responded to my email at all. So i figured I’d call and express my interest in purchasing the dress and I was told someone would get back to me, but nothing. I eventually tried one more time recently because I really really loved the dress and a consultant listened to my concerns and questions but again, promised to get back to me but never did. I’m extremely shocked and disappointed because there’s so many great reviews on the boutique and the service and I truly loved the selection but very taken aback at the lack of urgency to complete the experience or even the sell.

Ladies, I apologize. This is going to be on the longer side for a review. Approximately one month prior I tried on wedding dresses, for the first time, at Kleinfeld. From the moment I walked in I felt that I was being treated like a number and I experienced the women as the desk were curt and snobbish. I stood a few feet in front of a dress and they asked me to take a seat in their waiting room. I was not reaching for it. I just commented on how beautiful it was to my friend. The consultant I had was lovely and knowledgable, but again, I felt like a number. I was in fitting room #15 and it was obvious we were on the clock. I ended up leaving and felt unsure of what to do next.I searched for other wedding dress stores in NYC and Wona Bridal appeared and really caught my eye. I made an appointment, had to reschedule, and they had to reschedule that appointment due to a snow storm. We rescheduled and they said they would honor the 14% promotion they had for Valentines Day, when I had the appointment scheduled.I went in today, with my friend, and we were blown away. Our consultant welcomed us warmly into the store and it was obvious she was extremely knowledgable. She was great with bringing out every single dress I wanted to try on and did not make me feel bad, or rush, when I tried the same two dresses on MANY times for my mom on FaceTime. She did such a lovely job at helping me feel important and like the only bride she was focused on at that time.The cherry on top of all this are the prices, ladies. I was use to the prices at Kleinfeld and I must say, I have no idea why people keep shopping there, at Kleinfeld. The lux gowns are so reasonably priced (mine was $2100 with tax and the 14% Valentines Day discount), the craftsmanship is incredible, and the tailoring is $800 versus the $895 at Kleinfeld. Also, Wonas policy is a 50% deposit versus 65% at Kleinfeld.Ill write an updated review once my gown arrives and we do the final fitting.I cannot recommend this bridal store highly enough. If you are wedding dress shopping in NYC, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go to Wonas Bridal. Its very close to Kleinfelds if you go there also.

I decided to visit Wona NYC, after several bridal appointments in other stores that were a total failure. Immediately when I showed up, I was treated very patiently and the consultants were able to sit with me and listen to all I had to say. Their dresses are a total dream and they all tell a different story. If you want to look and feel modern, unique and luxurious on your wedding day this is the place to go to. Horrible experience. Extremely unprofessional. Management is impossible to get a hold, very forgetful, and takes no responsibility. There’s another review here from someone who tried to get in touch many times with no avail- that is the only review that seems legitimate to me and in line with my experience.

Love love love! Liuda was patient and always provided great advise. They have couture dresses at reasonable prices. I’m so in love with the dress and so happy to have found this place. WONA Bridal is by far the best wedding shop! In these uncertain days where everything closed down due to Covid 19, I never thought I would find the wedding dress of my dreams. The entire process was thru emails and video call. My consultant’s name is Christina, she was very helpful, I sent her a picture of the dress I wanted and she asked me to take my body measurements, which I did and sent to her. I received the call the next day, we chatted, she showed me the dress I wanted and a second choice in case the dress I picked didn’t work for me. Lastly, Sasha the Showroom Administrator (she is very attentive) sent me the contract and payment information and two weeks later I received my dress (Nika dress) and I couldn’t be more happy! It fit like a glove. Overall I was pleased with the service, selection and pricing available. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Thank you so much! So excited to walk down the isle in my beautiful dress.
