What a lovely sandwich shop !!! deli ? bodega? whatever you want to call it, the sandwiches made at Lamazou are AMAZING. the woman who helped me was so friendly & made my food very quickly, it was so delicious as well. i can not recommend this place enough. & its a lovely small business to support.

Have had the Flamenco Sandwich twice now and it’s awesome. Paper-thin imported Spanish Serrano ham and Manchengo cheese. I get it on a baguette with some honey mustard, lettuce and tomato. They get the proportions just right so it’s fresh and delicious.

I’m sure the sandwiches are nice but we came here to browse the cheeses and be warned - you have to place your order at the door. You CANNOT browse so don’t waste your time going here. Owner should make that clear.

Just cant go wrong with the Lamoretti (image). The cheese to the bread, to the meat (& pickles!) are all so fresh and delicious. A whole sandwich was about $12.

I’ve been coming to Lamazou 3 times a month for 3 years. I only get the Milano sandwich add hot peppers (hack). The owner and his wife are genuine and make our office happy and full :)

Quality sandwich shop, albeit pricey. They do simple Italian sandwiches right with a good balance of ingredients. They do not overload in meat and cheese like the standard corner deli. Quality bread goes a long way as well.Can be a long line at prime lunch time but usually fairly quick otherwise. No place to sit and eat here.

BEST sandwiches in NYC! I have high standards after having Publix subs for years, and I was blown away by my visit here. Small shop but was not crowded around 1pm on a Monday. The employees were all very friendly and helpful; I was in and out in 5 minutes. This is my new go-to midtown quick lunch spot!

I didnt try any of the sandwiches- they are probably yummy. Went for cheese and the selection was pretty limited. Had lots of English imported snacks and tea I would definitely stop for tho- just wasnt as great as all the reviews make it out to be. The bakery next door is amazeballs

Best sandwiches in the area. They slice their Italian meats on the spot, so their prosciutto is really fresh. Their bread is also some of the best in the city. They also do international candies and cookies so you can always find some authentic Italian treats to go with your sandwich.

Fantastic sandwiches with high-quality meats, cheeses, and breads. I highly recommend trying this place out at least once. It is a bit expensive for a sandwich (about $11), but it is definitely worth it. Large (but not too big) and extremely tasty!

Incredibly delicious and affordable Italian sandwiches made to order. You can order by the half sandwich (a generous portion) or whole (you will be way too full). My personal go-to is spicy sopressatta with a pesto spread, mozarella, lettuce, onion, and some roasted red peppers on a ciabatta roll.

Amazing egg salad, ciabatta, pates & curated sandwhiches of quality cured meats and imported cheeses.

Sandwiches are DELICIOUS and creative. Soups are very tasty and original!!!!

This is an excellent place to get a wide variety of European (French & Italian mostly) sandwiches, cheese and meat,

Eat half of the Lamazou Favorite (prosciutto, mozzarella, roasted peppers) and save the other half. Now... try not to touch/completely maul it for the next 20 minutes because its just not possible.Other options like the Smart Duck sounded appealing and its something Ill definitely want to consider next time. Its just that, Im the type of person that once Ive found that ONE thing/combo I love at a restaurant, its really tough for me to want to explore elsewhere (ex. Chipotle)... But, this ones the winner. The Lamazou Favorite is really all I need in this lifetime.Lolz, just kidding. I love food. Its great though!Sandwich is a bit pricey -- about $11, with the option of choosing halfsies for it, but you dont want that...
