Very misleading, the store is permanently closed. It has been emptied out and nothing is left and there is a sign saying unit is for rent. This store should removed from google and people should be informed that there is no columbia sportswear store left in the tri state are.

Got hired once after going on a interview never got a call or email as to when I was suppose to start also I called customer service to ask what was going on all they could tell me is that I did get hired. Just disappointed although this was years ago

I understand the concept that you cant have every item in stock but being their only flagship store in NYC should try to have a more variety style to try. I was in the market for some waterproof hiking shoe and saw a few online that I like. Disappointed that they didnt have any of the style and the one I could have settle for only came in one color. I understand that you could buy and return to the store but I try to get it right the first time with shoe without having issue with it. That just me. But the store itself is nothing wrong. They help me with my selection and and answer my questions even knowing they not making a sale.

I purchased a Columbia jacket that was a bit too small and ordered the next size up online which fit perfectly. They graciously handled the return as I had anticipated a problem because I ordered it on line.The people that work there seem to be very kind and professional and enjoy the brand.I am thrilled with my plus sized coat. I wish you could make more items that are plus size because I would buy them all. Great overall selection in the store and very clean.And additionally. I had to exchange a hat yesterday that became damaged during a trip out west.The entire staff was so kind and accommodating. They were able to find me another black ski hat within the store rather than having to choose another color that didn’t match my current gear.I am so happy with my purchases and their customer service. Job well done, Columbia. I will be back again for my needs and I’ll tell everyone i know about your excellent service.

We went out of our way to find this place ...away from Soho...away from the other places like midtown, herald sq, the real shopping destinations.... but when we got here - it was worth it. Lots of sales. Most items were 30%off. I bought myself a new jacket. And my wife bought one as well ...I really like this brand. Well made jackets. Definitely worth the effort to get here. We ate at Chelsea Market afterwards. And walked high line. It was a very good day.

You need to teach your employees to treat people with respect and don’t treat people according to their skin color. I was at the store 2/15/20 at 3:15pm. This Caucasian woman with manly figure was being so disrespectful. She won’t even let us go through the clothes to check sizes. We didn’t even make a mess to begin with. Every time I went through to check the size, she would come by and tell me not to touch basically and will check the size herself. But when I first asked her question, she was rude and showed attitude that I didn’t even want to speak with her.

If you feel something is too expensive....dont buy it. I see numerous posts with people crying about price tags not just about this but about everything they cant buy....and my gosh....why do they take time out to say if you lower your prices you will have more customers is beyond me. Any company will only cater to who can afford them....There are plenty of inexpensive items you can afford, so go and buy them.With all that said, I dont believe Columbia is expensive at all. I think they do an outstanding job of keeping prices realistic while being popular and fashionable. Great work Columbia. I only shop in physical shops and receive only the best type of services. I would not buy anything from this store or Columbia again. They sold me waterproof boots that are not waterproof. They will not do a return. The sale is fraudulent, a product labelled waterproof that is not waterproof. I have to go through their warranty department and return the boots to their central store for evaluation and then they will only issue a credit. Got caught on rain in the boots and my feet were soaked. Who would buy from a company that treats customers like this?

Its that time of the season, things about to get real cold soon. Had to plan ahead and purchase some gear. They had some good stuff in there and happy they have a store front in the city.

Columbias warranty is on par with its competitors. I had a fairly new turbodown jackets bottom zipper feed tear off rendering the jacket useless. Although they dont accept them at the store and you need to pay for shipping, they do extend a decent credit for busted gear

Nice place with very beautiful clothes. The staff is very attentive and helpful. However, I thought there would be more models on sale and on clearance sale. I have won several discount coupons to use between the end of February and the beginning of March but unfortunately I will return to my country before this time period and I will not be able to use them. I explainned it to the manager, but unfortunately, he could not do anything. I wish Columbia administration could help me to use them in Brazil.

What’s truly disappointing in a world of e-commerce, when you walk into their brick and mortar store, is that the store lacks many of products sold on their website. My main reason for schlepping out of my way was to get a sense of the sizes and fits of a jacket I’ve been eyeing. The staff was mostly helpful, but ultimately a fruitless trek that ended in disappointment.

I have two new Columbia coats for two seasonsAnd the zipper handles on both of them broke. Before this, I had a coat for twenty years before the zipper failed. The last time this happened the warranty people replaced my warm twenty year old coat with an incredible inferior product. So much for the lifetime warranty. Its as good as Columbia feels like making it. Its not an even exchange.

Been here a few times the customer service there is consistently good. His sales reps are very knowledgeable on all of the products. And if you tell them you saw something online cheaper they will help you price match it *protip.. just bought a new pair of boots there I hate the winter but I cant wait to try it out

Picked up a sundress on sale-- I liked it a lot but found the price even cheaper on amazon- same dress= different pattern I had tried on in that store= the fabric sweatproof- doesnt get creased - good for travel- called a fishing dress- very comfortable

Very knowledgeable people say alot of useful things about product characteristics . And what most important let you have free space to make final decision at least teller Teven was like that. Would strongly recommend especially until sales last.

Sent Columbia two winter jackets for cuff and zipper repairs and they sent me back two summer jackets which I promptly returned wrote a letter to no avail these jackets have a life time warranty for repair and if it cannot be repaired they send you a new jacket which has happen a couple of times already very dissapointed with Columbia because the way I have been treated I am a senior citizen who relayed on these jackets because they are very warm I do hope that something comes out of this post. PS I no longer buy Columbia jackets I do hope that a company excutive sees this post.

The staff is very friendly and helpful as you search their vast collection of outerwear. Is was looking for particular Parka, and although they didnt have it in stock I was entered in reminders list for when the Parka is once again in stock.

Poor customer service. Not willing to take responsibility for their company. There are many outdoors stores staffed with people who love the outdoors and will treat you like someone might treat you on a chairlift or on a hiking trail. Here, expect to get treated like youre on the subway.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing sunglasses there. They were helpful and worked with my price range. Very knowledgeable and attentive.

It was fully stocked, the salesman was ok, they lacked sizes that are on the website. Male and female areas werent distinctly marked and no dedicated shoes salesman. Other then that. I was greeted but then ignored.

Staff was awesome, and the selection was decent compared to TNF (both 5th and Soho). If the person helping me was unsure of a products features they immediately asked someone who did. Would go back in a flash if I needed another coat.

Great store, super staff, but they cater for urbanites, if you are a real outdoors person you may be disappointed with the range of kit, eg one small back pack in the entire store! I wanted to buy a Titanium 50L back pack, but no chance. Perhaps it was my fault for not investigating enough. Still worth a visit though and I did buy a few other things.

Service stinks jus as bad as there display of clothing if you call that a display. The clothing styles were out of date i see my dad in that a few years ago.and for this store to be in the city, cmon stop it.

Columbia products have become poorly sewn with falling apart seams and broken zippers and their customer service doesnt stand behind their products. They demand you pay repair costs for something that is only a month and a half old. I have argued with their warranty department and dealt with their customer service and its all a dead end. The best resolution I could get was document the feedback after hours on the phone. Columbia also owns Mountain Hardwear, Sorel, and prAna. I would assume corporate policy is the same for all of these companies and that is to not care about the customer. Please avoid supporting this company whos billionaire owners cant warranty their products with their half a billion dollars a year in profit.

They couldnt be bothered to stop conversations and help me (even after 10 minutes), but had the time to yell across the store to stop ME because they thought I stole something as I was leaving. We will get to that.Columbia is always a brand I associated with that winter brand I found on Amazon and competing with those cheaper Chinese brands. I personally owns two of their boots and gifted a couple cause they are really good and warm. That said, I was excited to be in their physical shop in Manhattan without the knowledge they have one.I was here for an event. The greeting is pretty awesome with cheerful employee and a $25 gift card. Signed up for win a prize as well. In the back, they were serving some really nice Portland wine and they are pretty good actually. I dont think the DJ is necessary or hes that good. Not like yelpers will get on the dance floor and start spinning. I think music on an iPod will do just fine.The snack they bought out are really good. I forgotten where they are from.Overall the price of the items feels a bit pricey comparing to online. I think they are special editions but a snow pant is a snow pant. This is very educational event on a great brand and company. I will appreciate my boot a bit more.Also google should remove those reviews on their google page complaining about a particular product instead of their service. Everyone is so nice here.

I bought a rain jacket online and I was there to return it (wrong size) the employees help me quick and easy.

Its not open yet! When you call the phone number it gives hours of operation and the store reps even tell you theyre open. I came a long way to this store for those two reasons only to find out the store doesnt open officially until the 21st of October. I wish they would tell you this when you call. Very obnoxious experience!
