It has been a while since our last visit to Grace Street. Its super difficult to get a table especially on a Friday night and we were happy to see that they did minor renovation to have more tables currently. We didnt wait to be seated and orders needed to be placed first at the kiosk by the entrance. We got a bowl of Sesame Bingsu with 3 toppings, which are red bean, diced taro & condensed milk. The price is kind of high but totally understandable due to its location. The bingsu was good and refreshing with decent amount of toppings. Our favorite topping was the diced taro which was braised soft and creamy.
This place was pretty busy, but it took us less than 10 minutes to get a table. The people working here are nice and polite. The desserts are very good, big enough to share and aren’t too sweet. I loved the matcha ice cream on top of the waffle. I can’t wait to come back to try more of what they have to offer.
This place is a great dessert spot! Grace Street Coffee & Desserts has an incredible selection of shaved ice cream 🍧, waffles 🧇, creme puffs, and cakes 🎂! The Basque Cheesecake 🍰 is absolutely delicious 🤤 - definitely worth a try and has a salty🧂 kick! Service is quick and staff 👨🍳 is niceI wish I came here more than!
So many excellent items here. Today I had a cookie monster shaved ice and a basque cheesecake. That cheesecake was maybe my favorite ever - - super rich and the burnt parts worked wellThe place is typically crowded on weekends. Today I stopped by during a weekday lunch break, and there were just two people in front of me, and plenty of seating space.
Grace Street has become by must go stop when I visit NYC, Ive been here about 5 times now and the service has always been great along with the desserts and boba. My favorite is the Mango Madness shaved snow and the sunset lemonade, definitely a must try! Cant wait to go back again and try the basque burnt cheesecake.
Delicious!Last night we were craving some dessert and found the perfect spot in K-town.They have a great variety of food and beverages. We tried the famous burnt cheesecake and some other desserts. Everything was great 👍🏻Even though there was a long line when we arrived we only had to wait a few minutes. Fast service!
Grace Street has become the dessert shop I annoy all my friends with by asking them to go with me every time I see them. If I had the choice, I would eat the boba french toast, shaved ice cream, and matcha everything for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each and every day. Please do not miss out on this fantastic experience. Come hungry!
Large collection of delicious Asian and Asian inspired desserts at decent prices with a nice vibe and ample seating. The burnt cheesecake (basque) was amazing and is their best seller. They also have matcha and chocolate versions of it. The Mochi ice cream is also quite good. They also have a lot of shaved ice deserts as well as cream puffs, waffles, churros, asian inspired teas, lattes, coffee etc.
This place is very popular. I liked the ice cream tower. It had a rich mango sauce. It was crowded and noisy, but everyone was having fun, so it was a good crowded. We also ordered the matcha cream puff. When I think of a cream puff, I think of a light, airy dessert with a rich creamy filing. The matcha cream puff is exactly the opposite. It is not light or airy and the matcha filling is anything, but rich and creamy.
Have you ever wondered what eating magic sand, or Play-Doh, is like? The shaved ice is prominently advertised as folded sheets, like some sort of delicious laundry or an endoplasmic reticulum. But the mouthfeel is like ice gravel in a gummy matrix. Im almost positive that there is a massive amount of xanthan or carrageenan gum in here to help it hold its shape. I think that is counter to the spirit of shaved ice, which is supposed to quickly melt, thus justifying the large helping you get. Its a weird experience. I prefer to just get regular shaved ice.
Such a cute cafe with great dessert and drink options! I love the Bavarian cream filled donuts, they have just the right amount of sweetness. For drink options I tried the dalgona coffee and loved the richness of it, just make sure to shake it up before drinking. The outdoor seating area is actually very nice they built a sheltered area which will be great even during winter! Look forward to coming back!
Ordered the Matcha Beignet which are usually amazing. This time was different. They were “ready” 1 minute after ordering them. I took one bite and they were pretty stale, not fresh, I went to the lady wearing the green top in the back counter and told her. She was insisting they were fresh with a pretty rude dismissing attitude. If you have such negative energy, please don’t spread it to others…
Unique and delicious. There was somewhat of a line to get in but it was worth the wait. Friendly people greeted us and gave us our food. We got Matcha Beignets, Basque Burnt Cheesecake, Green Tea Shaved Snow(Elixir), Lavender Milk Tea with Boba and Rose Milk Tea with Boba. Everything was so good. The red beans in the shaved snow was interestingly super tasty along with the lychee. The only thing I could say they could improve on was the Rose Milk Tea because we could not taste any rose flavor. Even so a 10/10 place someone looking for a great dessert place should go.
Great late dessert. Couldn’t finish these portions! We were sad to leave them! I had xoxo bingsu - lychee being one of my favorites, I was happy to find lychee jellies alongside my strawberries. Friend loved rose milk tea and their signature burnt cheesecake. I will say, very expensive - 31 bucks for this haul, but again it’s a gourmet treat and these portions of dessert are HUGE.
I came here on a late night and the area was packed. The line moved very fast and we received our orders in a decent time. Maybe 10 mins?We ordered the xoxo which is a strawberry shaved ice and the cookie monster which is a chocolate shaved ice. We also got the lavender and rose petal milk tea. Both the shaved ices were delicious and light. Not too sweet. There are bits of mochi toppings and cookie crumbles in it too. I wish there were more toppings in it, but these are not the customizable/build your own type ones.I tried the lavender milk tea and it tasted too floral for my liking. The rose petal tasted a lot better than the lavender.I recommend this place if you are ever in the area. This place is great for groups as well. They have in door dining that can seat 6-8 people per table.
Delicious Korean style shaved iced treats and drinks. Surprisingly not too sweet! I dislike overly sweet dessert, and these were not. Quite large, but we polished them off. The Basque Burnt Cheesecake is also very good.
Good place to grab a quick dessert! The dessert is easily shareable for two. They also have drinks too. I’ve been to better bingsu places but this place wasn’t bad!
I ordered their custom shaved snow (sweet milk with mochi and strawberry drizzle). Let me tell you. It was SO GOOD. I ordered it via Grubhub..The shaved snow will not disappoint.. My first time trying this dessert. Well worth the price as well..A must have in my opinion..Thank me later..
The basque cheesecake. Tastes superior to almost all other cheesecakes I’ve had so far in my life. Well balanced and light, creamy inside with a hint of burnt caramel from outside.Their Vietnamese coffee is also pretty good with oat milk.Highly recommended.
Cashier and server are both great. My favorite is the coffee flavored cream puff.Cheese cake is good also.It can be a little overpriced but hey, one of the nicest spot to hang out so the money equal the happening ambianceShaved ice is okay, not my favorite but favorite of many others.
Brilliant place! Was amazed to see the variety in the menu. They had vegan options for 2 of their desserts which was amazing! We ordered the following and loved all of it:Lavender milk teaRose petal milk teaTaro milk tea with bobaBasque cheesecakeHo duko
Really good! Special bubble teas, special desserts. The green tea ice cream is amazing! Will definitely come back to try the shaved ice
A popular spot in Korea town, there is usually a line but the wait isnt too bad. They serve basque cheesecake which isnt super common - the best part is the oozy center. The royal milk tea is delicious as well, nice tea flavor with just the right amount of milk, could not fault it - love that it comes in small and large jug sizes.
This is a cool drink and dessert place. The desserts are delicious and aesthetic. I have been here a couple times now and I would definitely recommend this place! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The desserts are super filling so I would recommend sharing with someone or going when you are starving. I was hungry and I could not finish the matcha ice cream waffle on my own.
Pretty disappointing experience. After reading all the raves we finally made our way to here on a chilly evening. We had to order at the door then were seated and received our order.I had the lavender bubble tea with the matcha beignets. (which were literally plain beignets with some powdered sugar and matcha powder dumped on them..)My friend had the coffee flavored puff thing which she thought was pretty bland. The bubble tea was nice and lavender flavored but way too sweet.
Wish it had some WiFi. But I understand why they don’t. If they did clients would never leave lol. Place gets packed after 5
Yummmm! We got XOXO shave ice. I believe it was the strawberry flavor. We eat a lot of shave ice and we can say this is one of our favourite! The ice has its own flavor as it could be the yogurt flavor or soaked into the condensed milk. Highly recommended to come here to give it a try! A lot of other places don’t offer the same.I noticed a lot of other ice shaving is practically ‘ice shave’ but this one is in the next level.
Great variety of desserts, possibly the best around town. Most other dessert places close at 11 pm but this place closes past midnight, making it a go-to stop for late night hangouts. Nice atmosphere too, young crowd, noise level is appropriate for chatting without raising your voice. Highly recommend. Make sure to eat any ice-cream based desserts quickly though!
Nice place to hang, reasonable price and food are excellent.
I went here because I saw a friend post one of their desserts, I did not expect what I saw when I actually got there. They make you order from the front, before you can even go inside and have a seat. As a matter of fact, I think they won’t let you in if you don’t order upfront. The employees were not so friendly. Totally ignored it, since I was more curious as to what they have inside. After ordering a taro milk tea, my friend and I went inside. The cafe itself isn’t done yet. I believe they are under reconstruction. The place has potential to be a hit, hopefully they just staff with better people.
This is hands-down some of the best Asian dessert Ive had in this hemisphere. The shaved ice is flavorful and thick, the doughy desserts are perfectly sweetened, and the Vietnamese iced coffee is to die for. The location right in the center of Koreatown is also incredibly well-situated for a day in Manhattan. I cant recommend Grace Street enough!
Milly was so friendly and helpful! I spilled my drink by accident and she came and helped clean up right away. Will definitely come back! :)
Such a cute ambiance of a cafe! Definitely worth the experience! My niece and I ordered Beignets without the Matcha powder (Just not a fan of matcha with beignets) - ABSOLUTELY heavenly!!!! They were so delicious, soft and perfectly warm! We also had the chocolate filled cream puff and rose milk tea which wasnt bad but the beignets blew everything else out of the park! We already planned a trip back! If youre in town definitely stop in for the beignets you will not regret it!
AMAZING shaved ice !! Friendly service, lots of tables
The matcha puff and beignets were divine. The custard in the puff was so refreshing. 😋
Delicious Asian style dessert cafe. The Milk Tea Boba Toast was very good in taste, and the salty popcorn topping complemented the ice cream and sauce. The toast was good, but some parts were a little hard, and bubbles were sometimes hard to scoop. Overall good though. The lavender tea was excellent, great lavender flavor. Definitely a required order on your first visit.
Ive only had the dalgona coffee and honestly it’s not too bad! they’re quite expensive though i won’t lie. i do not remember how much it cost so the next time I go (probably for a cupsleeve event) i’ll update this review and add the prices! i do recommend this place though!
We need more places like this. Desserts are amazing and all the bubble tea are delicious. I don’t usually drink hot bubble tea but I like it here warm. The rose petal is my favorite, lavender milk tea also good.I would get the Boba tea Toast every time. They have the best bubble tea flavor you can get anywhere.
Latte is good but should provide lid instead of just an open cup.
This has been my go-to in Ktown for dessert and tea for several years now. The menu changes seasonally that make for an exciting dining experience, but they also have some delicious classics which keep my friends and I coming back! I recommend the hodduk to anyone visiting Grace Street the first time.
So good mango shaved ice. Best we ever had. Had to go back 2nd time. Quick service during busiest time. Great customer service
Love this place for its good vibes and delicious drinks. It’s typically pretty busy but never a long wait and I always find seats. I go to get some work done or just to relax on break time. I really recommend the rose petal milk tea. It tastes so good and looks pretty too;) The Nutella mochi waffle is a favorite of mine too. Sweet drinks + aesthetic interior and desserts = overall great cafe.
The waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Snow ice was just at the perfect sweetness. Big place with many seats and lots of choices on the menu. Open late and quick service!
Exotic asian desserts, enjoy Green tea shaved ice with Bobas, red beans, mochi, pandemic guidelines observed, indoor & outdoor dining, closes at 10pm weekdays
This place has some amazing desserts! The variety is endless. They have seasonal items on the menus as well. Extremely pleasing to the eyes and definitely satisfying to the stomach. Highly recommended spot if youre in the area. Never disappoints!
Pretty great desserts. Theyre all delicious honestly. From the donuts to the shaved ice (SOOO creamy!) to the waffles, you will surely find something youre going to like!Price is a bit high but portions are decent and quality is good. They have unique drink too like the rose milk tea and honey boba.Gets crowded and loud but overall you should try it once at least when in k-town
Visited three nights back to back and tried whatever we could, the mochi ice cream is really good, definitely worth a try. The shaved snow is awesome, the iced tea are very good and their signature waffle with tea ice cream is very delicious. Highly recommended.
I never came here before 6 but I didnt know there was no table service until after 6. We had to find our own table but man, was it crowded! We were about to leave when a couple got up to leave. Too bad they just left their dirty dishes on the table and no one cleaned it up so our party of four had to clean up ourselves. We went up to order and had to wait until the buzzer vibrated to go pick up our order. We ordered a mango shaved snow, Vietnamese iced coffee, lavender latte and 2 rose petal lattes. My friend said the lavender latte just looked lavender but there was no lavender flavor. The Vietnamese iced coffee was tasty and the rose petal latte was good too. The shaved snow was more like sorbet. Really yummy. However its a bit pricey for the amount you get. Be prepared for a lot of noise. Dont expect to be able to study or talk to your date!
We stopped on a Saturday. The place was crowded and noisy. It was an effort to find a table. We had iced latte and caramel iced latte. Both were very good. Our friends had cappuccino and dessert. They liked the green tea ice cream.
