This company has been nothing but a problem for me. I ordered contact lenses 5 days ago and chose to have them verify my prescription with my doctor since I didnt have my copy on hand. An automated message came in a day later and said they are verifying the prescription but I have not had any communication back since. Ive contacted them multiple times through email, text and chat and NEVER hear any response. What kind of company is this? Ive been without lenses for almost a week. If I could cancel my order I would (but of course thats not an option online).UPDATE: The company finally contacted me a couple days later (Thursday) and said they were experiencing a technical glitch. They upgraded my shipping to over night and I received my order on the following Monday. I appreciate them trying to make it up to me but I will not be ordering from them again. I waited 9 days for my contact lens order.
Ive tried 5 times to get contacts through their service. Each time they took my money and then told me that I needed to redo various parts of their exam.Also, the founders and employees are literally the ones whove left positive reviews here.
This is an update to my last review:Still completely satisfied with this company. Had an issue with my prescription with the help of Katie S I was able to correct a prescription and have the correct lenses in my hand in a matter of a few days. If you’re looking for friendly fast and reliable service for your contact lenses this is the company to go to 👍🏻❤️😊Awesome company was able to take my eye test online on a Friday and by Tuesday morning I had my new contacts in hand and was able to see you again. Will definitely be re-ordering from this company.
I tried to place an order and was informed that my doctor said my prescription expired (it wasn’t) and that they could order my contacts if I spent $20 on their eye exam which would bring my cost up to the same price as 1800contacts. I cancelled and ordered through 1800contacts and it shipped the next day because my perscription is still valid. So I am under the impression that this company either never called my doctor and just wanted me to take their eye exam or they are just lazy and didn’t want to follow up when I informed them that my exam was less than a year ago.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! I would give them ZERO Stars if I could. They took my money then failed to ship my contact. They have no phone number to call them. I emailed them asking to send the order but I then received a notice saying I cancelled my subscription and cancelled the next order after they already charged my credit card again.
I’ve been using this company for a while. Seemed to never have any real issues with small delays here and there over the years. But with my recent order, I did two day shipping and I have been on the “processing” period for 8 days now. With Little to no contact from the company. You have to jump through hoops to cancel a order and I’m left with just waiting for who knows how many days.I have in the past enjoyed the app but after a difficult week trying to get information just for one order, I will most likely not use this company again. I have yet to be notified or updated on my order. I write this not out of frustration but as a warning to those who need immediate contacts. You might run into this situation similar time mine and many others.
Beware of this company! Yes, you save money ordering. But when I went to use my second box of right eye contacts, the lenses did nothing. I emailed the company to ask for a replacement and they refused, saying that my prescription was too old. I offered to take the test again and get a new prescription and they still refused to replace the box. They said it was probably the way I stored them, or that they were old, or that my vision probably changed. (The box of left eye lenses, stored the same way and in my possession the same length of time, is fine. The old box of right lenses is also fine.)All they offered me was 10 percent off my next order. Absolutely not. It isnt worth the uncertainty. Apparently, they only replace contacts within six months of the order. If you order a years supply, you wont be opening your second box until seven months. How convenient for them.I only asked to have what I ordered - a working box of contacts. To offer 10 percent instead of a replacement is abysmal customer service.Update: after posting this review, the company replaced the defective box. It seems that they are more responsive to public feedback than private.
Im a very satisfied customer. I have some jacked up eyes, which call for some custom XR lenses that always take longer to get than standard contacts regardless of where I order them from. Ive been tracking this order as Ive never used Simple Contacts before, and I was down to my last pair of current lenses. I saw that the order had been delivered to my home per the shipping companys website, however when I got home, the order was not in my mailbox (as stated it would be per the tracking number information). I immediately went into panic mode as I was down to my last pair, and I have a lot of travel plans coming up. I was upset that the order was not there and I called Simple Contacts to find out what to do. They said unfortunately they only had the same shipping info that I did. I explained my dilemma about needing the lenses before my travel plans and they said they would get a free replacement order started immediately and expedite (overnight) the shipping free of charge as soon as the custom lenses were completed. A few hours later I received and email and text message confirming what was discussed. The next day, my original package arrived (This was something to do with DHL and USPS miscommunication, for some reason they had marked my package as delivered even though it hadnt been, thats a separate review). I reached out to Simple Contacts to let them know I had gotten my order.I have to say, Simple Contacts has a great communicative staff, they easily have the best prices, and they have easily made me a repeat customer.
Ive been waiting over a week and my order is still processing. Will update if I ever get my lenses.Edit: Ive received them. Communication could be much better.
Really! like this new way to get contacts exam online this is awesome.I didnt do it yet but definitely Im going to may be today or tomorrow for sure after is done Ill review it again on my experience I hope will be great cause its going to help a lot of people,so far Im happy to found them😃
I attempted to reorder my contacts that I previously purchased through them and was told my prescription expired, and I needed get a new prescription, either through them or my doctor. After attempting to take their exam, they texted me and told me I couldnt log in because my sons prescription was also on my account, and that I needed to use a different email to take the exam. I just learned my credit card was charged for the contacts I never received, as order still states pending, and just yesterday used another email and credit card for the online exam that they didnt approve yet, and they have charged this credit card as well. Ive texted them and emailed them about a refund, and no response!!
I am a first time user of this company and it looked great. I placed an order with them and within minutes of placing the order received an email that my contacts were backordered. I immediately contacted customer service to cancel my order so that I could reorder elsewhere as I needed them right away. the customer rep Matt told me the order had been canceled and they would issue a full refund. sight of relief....so I placed an order with my doctor.....then to my surprise a few minutes later I got a text from the company saying my order had shipped, I was then told that they could not cancel my order and I would have to mail the contacts back to get a refund....what the heck.....SO SHADY!!! now I have to have two charges because of their lack of transparency and/or utter failure to verify product availability. I DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Realized my prescription was expired just as I was about to run out of contacts and used this service to get a new Rx and order contacts in literally less than 24 hours. This is a life saver!
When comparing the price from one item to another. This web seems to have the cheapest, however, it wont be the same after you buy it from them again. They will start the scamming after a long term customer.
After I placed my order I received a friendly text that said I could reply with quesitons anytime. Ive since replied several times with a question -- and I have not received a reply! Of course, theres not phone number to call for support. Your customer service is very poor. I will never order from you again!

I wish I would have checked the reviews before I ordered. The contacts I ordered are on back order for 10 days. They showed in stock when I ordered them I get a text saying theyre not in stock. Now trying to cancel is a hassle. Dont order from Simple Contacts!

Dont take the (easy) online eye exam its a waste of time, I tried over 20 times and getting emails each time that something else was wrong like room lighting, distance, eye cover, voice, and so on, the distance measuring technology is horrible even on 15 feet away its telling me to back up more, if you want to try it youll get in the end tired and mad like me...
