This was my first time selling gold. I went somewhere else to sell my gold right before I came here. I was frustrated because that place had offered less for my gold than Manhattan Buyers and also I felt threatened when they said that my estimate would not hold if I leave. In Manhattan Buyers however, my experience was more than stellar. First, the security at the lobby were very polite and welcoming. Once I came in, the receptionist was a kind lady who offered me a complementary water bottle. But more than everything else, Albert was amazing. The appraisal took very little time and he was honest with me but still being sensitive to what a customer may feel about their jewelry. They tell you off the bat that they dont pay for the precious expensive stones in the rings, bracelets or pendants which are valuable. They only pay for the gold and diamonds! I was honest with the review, the reason for the 4 stars, is because the person I was taken care by was quick and to the point, but sweet But at least they responded to the review, new lesson-get your stones identified as semi- precious or man made before selling your jewelry. But my stones were sapphire, rubies and diamonds which are all precious. Truth be told, I don’t think I would go elsewhere.
