I absolutely love this store and they have a great selection! I found an item I have been wanting to add to my collection for years. Frank was extremely helpful and friendly, however, I was very disappointed when my Discover Card was not accepted - hope they add it soon!!

I love going to this Main Street antique store Ive been going there for many years they have very unique things you name it they have it they have very old items that look fairly new a lot of antiques which I love its a beautiful story even just to walk through its so pretty and well organized

This shop is heavy on glassware and ceramics. It has a fair amount of collectables. Very light on furniture.

So many antiques.. I could spend hours searching.. Love shopping here for unique gifts.. Never disappointed.

Absolutely amazing experience there this weekend. Ive been to tons of antique stores and never experienced this level of customer service. I went in looking for an unusual type of amberina, and not only did the staff point me in the right direction, they searched the entire store with me, looking for glass that matched what I was looking for. I was there for over an hour, and walked away with several beautiful pieces, including a type of blue uranium/cobalt glass that I didnt even know existed! The prices were reasonable, and they gave me discounts where possible. I will definitely be back when Im next in the area!

This is one of my favorite antique shops to visit! Such a wide selection of antiques and other vintage items. Today I was finally able to use my gift card from a year ago to purchase a milk canister Ive been on a hunt for some time now. My friend who brought me here today never heard of it and he will be making a visit sometime soon! Love this place!

This is my new favorite place. If you love things, go here!! I spent hours browsing the store trying to find a ring and the owners were very kind and dealt with my indecisiveness well. I could spend all day here if i had the time, by far the largest and most diverse antique store Ive ever seen; theres so much cool stuff!! The owners are very friendly and have vast knowledge in relation to everything in the store. Will definitely come again and highly recommend.

Absolutely love Main Street Antiques and the friendly staff. Its like visiting a museum and being allowed to buy the artifacts. I have to admit to feeling somewhat melancholy occasionally when I see so many items from bygone years but that is the antique business. I love this store.

Friendly folks with loads of vendors featuring quite a variety of old, interesting items. Good prices. It is one of my favorite Friday lunchtime destinations. I nearly always find something.

I love the 2 Tiffany lamps and a mirror my husband purchased for me for Christmas. The shop was also having a pre-Christmas discount on everything! The store has a combination of antiques and resale shop type items. Something for everyone. I found the employees to be helpful, courteous, and respectful. I highly recommend Main Street Antiques. I cant wait to shop again!

This place is a lot bigger than it looks and has decent prices. They really do have something for everyone, even us weirdos. All the booths are rented by different dealers, so there is a ton of variety.

I browse in here often, I think their prices are silly on alot of things, its a shame! Things could move quicker here if their inventory wasnt over priced on many things! But to browse and find the occasional treasure, its full of merchandise!

Found a record that my child wanted for Christmas it had some fine scratches and was worried about it playing. Ask if they had a record player I could play it on and went above and beyond to help me.

There are so many niches of antiques and used goods that after years I still have not fully appreciated the complete collection. The prices are reasonable.

Do not shop here! RACIST employees and obviously horrible at managing reviews. Only shop here or sell here if youre ok with giving racist businesses your money! I was also present at the time of the below mentioned review, and I have also reviewed on Facebook. I guess the owners think its off topic to share that their employees and vendors are making offensive comments about people of other races. I was in Main Street Antiques to purchase some gifts with my friend and was appalled by the conversation between employees which we overheard. As we were about to check out, I overheard a woman working the counter discussing her dislike for someones child who was half black! We put our purchases back and I plan to tell everyone I know never to shop here ever again. Also, if you are a seller here, you should take your business elsewhere.I also will be reaching out to professional organizations in the Newark, DE area. This is hate speech and the fact that you are trying to discredit people who are bringing a SERIOUS issue to your attention shows that you not only accept this behavior but also do not care for the safety and rights of other shoppers.

INCREDIBLY RACIST EMPLOYEES!! I Was just in this store, sizing up some items to purchase not far from the register, when my friend and I became aware of the very loud, racist conversation taking place behind the register. A middle-aged white woman was angrily telling her white coworker (who seemed to be in agreement) about a relatives interracial child and using disgusting, vile terms (which I wont repeat here) and spouting off a sickening checklist of racial stereotypes. All the while other sellers at the store were well within earshot and none of them seemed to mind either. Will never, ever go back into that place. One star for the review is much too generous.In regards to your response: I would imagine the mission statement of any business worth a damn would include treating human beings, regardless of their race or background, with respect. I would imagine the business would respect themselves enough to care what their potential clients think about them and their staff and at the very least conduct themselves like decent human beings in front of customers regardless of what their personal feelings are, even if those feelings are mired in the filth of hate.
