Staff was not welcoming. Morning, afternoon or evening, one should be greeted. I walked in and stood distance back from counter, but in view of this woman & she pretended as if I were not there. After a minute of standing like an outsider, she did not even look at me and said I will be with you shortly. As the minute went by, she still stood there, then grabbed a bag of snacks and took a few bites, then a man walked in from outside. Again, no greeting and said What you getting done? After I told him, he took my keys and thats it. I still stood there because I had made this appointment and I was never asked my name, or if I had an appointment. So I went to restroom then came back out, stood in front of everyone again for 10 seconds and the guy said You need something? I told him I wasnt sure if I needed to check in and he told me no, I could just sit in waiting room. Overall, the lack of care / respect for a PAYING CUSTOMER, I dont even feel my car was taken care of.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Even when you call in. I was happy to see that. Thank you for your kindness.

My husband want to say THANK YOU- to Chris Smith. For us this was a HUGE step; this is our first NEW vehicle. Chris first contacted my husband through the Costco program that we are apart of. When we first met Chris on a Saturday we were both very impressed with his knowledge as well as him being very straight forward with us about the ins and outs financially. My husband and I were set on the Dodge Journeys- we specifically wanted this; because of the third row, and features of the Journey to include; remote start, backup camera and sunroof. Long story short we eventually found a Dodge Journey Crossroad in Blood Orange that had everything we wanted. After a few set backs- we brought this beautiful addition home- 3/27/18. Buying a brand new car can be a stressful experience when you are questioning things and trying to make sense of all the numbers etc. (that was my husband and I)! Yet; when you have a good salesman- who makes everything less stressful and is straight forward with you about every little detail; BEFORE you sign your life away! Makes this first time car buying experience- WORTH IT 110% and one that make us returning customers in future- when need an upgrade!!! HAHA!!! Went in to have my 2018 Jeep Wrangler’s touch screen evaluated because of intermittent issues. There was what appeared to be a crack or a delamanation issue (known issue for this display). After looking at the vehicle I was told it was cracked and was not covered under warranty. Parts would be ~$900.I took the vehicle to another dealer to have them evaluate the issue as well. The second dealer concluded the issue was delamanation and not a cracked screen which was covered under warranty. I’m paying my $100 deductible and everything else is covered.
I’ve taken my Jeep SRT here for service quite a few times in the past year. Sometimes for major issues, sometimes for small issues... either way, every time I do the service is always 5 stars! The girls & guys at the counter are always cheerful and ready to help! Also, HUGE shoutout to John and Isaiah (& all of the techs) for taking great care of me and the Jeep! The people here are the reason I pass 3 Jeep dealerships closer to my house!! Thanks Newark Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram!!

This has been the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. They want to rush you and the service department is the worst. They dont wan to help you with any of your issues. They argue with you and tell you that you are wrong every time. I have gave them many chances over the years and every time it gets worse. My car wouldnt run and they blamed it on the oil, which it wasnt. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed since they refused to look over the car thoroughly.
I took my daughters 2020 Renegade in this morning for an oil change and tire rotation, when I left and stopped for gas I notice that the tires were not in fact rotated yet I was charged for it. I called the service department and they told me to bring back they would do it but couldnt explain why they had the car for over an hour for just an oil change nor why they charged for a service they didnt do. I was transfered to the service manager voicemail waiting to hear back on how they will make this right. Beware of services requested to make sure they were actually completed. Super shady and horrible customer service when trying to talk to the service advisor about it.

Called about buying a Dodge caravan that was advertised at a good/fair price. Made offer. Called back and was told that van is in service. (Whatever that means). It was advertised for sale thats why i called in the first place. I call them the dummy car. Second dealer today that did this. Yes it is a thing!!
My husband spoke with a salesman last week about a new car for me. He told the Sale’s man that he would call him if we were coming back, we did not end up back there. The next morning my husband got the most disrespectful text messages from this sales person about how he wasted his time and he is trying to get his quota. My husband told him how blown away he was by his lack of professionalism and he still didn’t stop! He proceeded to tell my husband how inconsiderate he was for wasting his time and stated he doesn’t need the disrespect from my husband and how much training and how qualified he is in this field. I had to call the manager to make It stop. When i spoke with the manager he was so unphased there was actually an awkward silence. i then read the text messages to him and the got a mediocre apology and told he would take care of It. Never asked for our information or anything. This is the worst customer service experience i have ever encountered. I’ve gotten better service at the dollar store. I will make sure no one i know ever comes to this dealership. I wish i could give negative stars.

This dealership did not make a good first impression and we will not be coming back, even if it means going 30 minutes out of our way to another dealership. We had to have our Jeep Wrangler serviced due to an equipment malfunction and planned to drop off our car first thing when they opened. I get there and there is a line of 10 cars waiting for service at 7:20 AM. I tell them Im only dropping off my car and then a person rudely says to get back in line. Really? Wouldnt you think they would want to help their customers instead of standing around doing nothing, especially if Im dropping my car off? No thanks, we will take our business elsewhere. The service advisor who eventually helped me was courteous and the only reason why I gave them two stars instead of one.
Do not call the salesman JAY NICHOLS first thing in the morning evidently he is not a morning person. Worst customer service with him Ive ever seen in my life but he expects you to buy a car from him.
Great and fast service.I have had my car there numerous times for oil changes and recently brought it in for service on my a/c and coolant line. I own a 2014 Dodge Avenger R/T and the service manager and the service advisers have always treated me with respect. Wayne is fantastic as is the rest of the employees in the service department. Not once did I feel like I was being taken for my money and they get the work done fast at a reasonable price. I will be going back later this week to have the rest of the work done and I am confident in their work.
A Quick oil change and tire rotation
NEWARK RAM SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO START TO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS.I bought 2019 ram 1500 limited. It is an expensive truck.I have no problem the way truck drives, or it is comfort level. However, less than one year in this truck, I have ended up in the service 6 or 7 times. The reason behind the service is 50% of the truck and 50% of Newark RAM service department.I had a blind detector stop functioning for less than a year.Side mirrors stop functioning for less than a year.RAM recall for mechanic issues.Break lights stop functioningMost of my service visits are needed for the second visit. Service department either does not have a part of completing the work or they simply cant get it right in the first visit.But most irritating service was the brake light service. It took three weeks to fix a simple break light. I had to drive three weeks without break light. It is dangerous for me and other drivers but the service department didnt care. If I go to pep boys, it would have been taking care of in two hours, but I was afraid to damage the truck warranty.They made mistakes on the side mirrors, but I wont detail on that because it is upsetting.background of the brake lights.I called them about brake lights.They schedule for six days later.I went in dropped off the truck. Called me back the same day to pick up.They said, they changed the light bulb but missing a part to make lights work. They said they have no part and ordered and they will call me back.Nine days later, I called them in the morning, no answer, I left a voice message. 4:53 pm I received a call saying part came. Schedule me for six days ahead from that day.Sales guys are good people and helpful, but the service department needs to work on their customer satisfaction. Every time I need to drop off my truck for service I need to arrange another car to drop me off and pick me up from Newark Ram.
Great dealership I just bought my Fourth ram. IVAN is the best salesman I have ever done business with and he doesnt treat you like just a sale.He tells you the truth and he is stright forward. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2013 with after market backup camera that does not work anymore after taking it to this dealership for maintenance.Let me explain what happened.I have spent under 2000 at this dealership this year for maintenance on my vehicle and consider myself to be a quality customer. Recently I had my Jeep towed in with a bad alternator only to wait 8 business days to get it fixed and back. I asked the dealership for a loaner vehicle which they declined to do and also for any discounts for rentals because they couldn’t get the part for so long. They did not offer this either. I understand that sometimes parts take a while to come in but if i was not blessed with great friends that chauffeured me to work I could have lost my job for not being able to drive to work during that week and a half. This experience was dissappointing but I just shrugged it off and figured that many other dealers would have been just like this.Fast forward a week later I had new keys programmed and a switch replaced for my rear glass release. When I picked up my vehicle the back up camera no longer worked I called them about it and they said I could bring it in the following week to get checked out.I brought it back and they said that nothing they did caused my backup camera to stop working. I find this highly coincidental and will never do business with this dealership again.To be clear I can not prove that they caused my back up camera to stop working. But it is very coincidental and I just wanted to make others aware so they can decide for themselves if they want to use this dealership.
8/24/17After having a bad experience with Cherry Hill Triplex in New Jersey.Dan here in at this Dodge Dealer made me a Happy Person...I came into the Dodge Dealer at closing looking for a Dodge Charger I seen on a website... I test drive the car and Loved it.. Financed ran my credit and I was approved...Went in on Friday to finish paperwork and pick up the car...They detailed it and my car is Beautiful... thanks to Dan I am so Happy.

I bought my 2014 Chrysler 200 about a year and a half ago. I LOVE THIS CAR. I had test drove this brand a year before with no pressure to buy. When I was ready to buy it I had Fast friendly service. I was asked permission to run additional hard credit checks to be sure they could find me the best rate while buying it. They found me an extra rebate but sat and calculated that the increase in finance % would end up costing me few dollars more in the long run. (I appreciate the attention to that detail)Gary you are the best!
(Service Department Review)After having an extremely trifling experience with a service rep who had no idea that he functioned as a representation of a company at the Jeep dealer in New Castle along RT.40, I came to this Newark dealership.I have not once received sub-par service, reps were fully aware of any problems that arose with the vehicle. I received follow-up calls with updates for service appointments. Representative who took payments had a pleasant attitude, had at minimum 5 payments processed since I purchased vehicle in August and I saw no lack of ability.I was never for Jeeps, especially after the New Castle experience. They are now added to the line-up.
Dont have your vehicle serviced at the Newark service department, you will regret it. I took my truck in for general service (fluid changes) but also let them know of a clanking that I was experiencing and smell of oil burning on the engine. $1400 later I picked up my truck. I drove it for about 20 miles (1 day) and thats when the fun started. I felt a bang and then it sounded like my wheel was going to come off the truck. I took it back to Newark Service department on a Friday night and dropped it off explaining they messed something up. They didnt look at my truck until Monday and explained that they over tightened a bolt and the part they installed broke off. But they also told me I needed new valve cover gaskets and that would cost another $500. I asked why I wasnt told that 2 days but of course no good explanation. When I said to fix what they broke and nothing else, they offered to install the gaskets if I paid for parts...they would cover the labor (another $120 out of my pocket). I picked up my truck this time and drove it for a few days and heard something jangling at the bottom of the truck, so back to the dealer I went for the 3rd time. As you can imagine, I am pretty fired up at this point and while I am speaking to Wade (who needs to go to customer service school) tells me the shuttle is running now but due to the snow it may not run later in the day. So they call me at 1 p.m., tell me they forgot to tighten a bolt but they cannot pick me up to bring me back to the dealer due to the snow. I tell Wade that someone needs to get me because I am now stranded at work. He calls me back 10 mins later and says sorry, no can do and hangs up. Finally, I convince the service manager to get my truck back to me (which was appreciated). I drove my truck for another week after this debacle and now it is accelerating on its own. Two days after I noticed the self-accelerating, the check engine light comes on. So I am back in the shop, but not Newark Jeep service this time and never again!
I had to bring my jeep in to get the cruise control working. Not having an appointment and driving back to Mississippi in a few days, Misty helped get my Jeep serviced. Thank you so much. Caesar fixed the part, Sharon ordered it, and thank you to Steve and Swift too! Great team, so happy.And very happy with my 2015, Jeep Renegade!!!Thank you Newark. The people were nice here and very helpful. They listened to me and tried their best to accommodate my needs. However, the level of knowledge on the vehicles they have is a little lacking. I purchased a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and wanted to get a Limited model without a hybrid engine. However, I was told repeatedly that limited models were only hybrids even though the manuals and website told me different. Their level of knowledge on what they had on site was also lacking. They were never sure if they had what I wanted until they went out and looked. Also, the purchasing process was very slow. It took me over an hour and a half to do the process when I was paying cash. Finally, while they gave me a free tank of gas when I got the vehicle, when I was filling the tank, it overflowed and when I questioned the guy about it, he seemed unconcerned and didnt offer any explanation on it. I am uncertain if I will buy from them again.

I cant believe that it was impossible to get an oil change from express service. This is the second time I have been turned away at the express service. I have called to schedule an appointment and they said it’s not necessary.Unfortunately this will be the last Chrysler product I actually own. I have wasted 8 hours attempting to get my seat repaired. I made 8 trips to the dealer only to have it break again within 5k miles. My car is still under warranty and this should be covered. I had been called about the seat being in twice only to arrive and waste more time. They informed me that the part was not in fact in the dealer and I would have to return after they found it.I have been contemplating writing Chrysler a letter but I guess this is the final straw to force my hand. I just expect that when you spend over 50k on a vehicle that it actually doesn’t fall apart in less than 30k miles but if it does they have competent mechanics that can repair it.
The sales rep, Lonnie Wood, did an amazing job in helping me find the right car that fits my needs. He walked me through the process, giving me solid information, and patiently waited as my reviewed everything. I felt comfortable and valued as a customer.
Older gentleman in the drive thru bay was excellent. He told me what he was doing and then informed me on how to maintain my vehicle to keep it in good running order. Very pleased.

My first visit to this dealership after using Carman for years. Tim was prompt, courteous, informative and catered to the customer. Equally, Red the shuttle driver was also quite friendly and courteous.I had work done that the other dealer diagnosed and provided an outrageous fee for. Not to mention I can never get an appointment the same week much less the same day with Carman, even for something simple. Newark Chrysler got me in the same week and repaired my vehicle without it costing a ridiculous price.I must say that Im using them from now on based on this first visit.

Avoid buying from this dealer.R.J was my sell person. they sold me a Ram 2500. a day after transmission stopped working. i asked to take the truck back and void the contract but instead and they FORCED ME to take another vehicle from their LOT. i am not happy with them and i will NEVER EVER go there. why should i drive the car that i dont even like????

We werent even out of our vehicle before a sales person dashed up to us and started talking. Tried to get us to go inside (probably because he was sweating profusely) even though we plainly stated we were only looking and arent ready to purchase yet. When a customer says that, back off! Offer them your card and let them know to come find you if they need anything today, or call you with questions they have at a later date. Male salesmen, take a hint... WOMEN ARE NOT STUPID. We can be knowledgeable about vehicles, ya know. Even if we end up deciding on a vehicle like what we went to look at... We wont purchase from here.

Misty s customer service sucks she is quick to pass the buck and not accept accountability. Did i mention Ive have my used certified vehicle for less than 30 days and havent even drive 1000 miles. Ive filed a corporate complaint and reported to BBB.They only got a 1 because 0 was not an option

The people here are very helpful. Just as we were driving from Virginia and about to enter Delaware, a message came up on our screen regarding our transmission. Immediately ask Google for the nearest dealership and they pointed us to Newark Chrysler. From the minute we arrived, they were there to help us. Ended up having to rent a car and they helped us immediately with that as well.
My experience was great. Adrienne was helpful and very patient. She really cared that I got the car I wanted for a price I expected. I hope I dont need a new car too soon but when I do I will most certainly look back here first.
Lonnie Wood sold me my Challenger T/A and I couldnt be happier, made it quick and easy and got me to the payments I wanted to be at. Had a couple issues with the tags but he helped me even after the sale was completed. Friendly staff, Chris helped me when I first came in to look at the car and Neiman was friendly and struck up a chat with me in his downtime about my new purchase. Very happy and even told them id be back in a little while for my Hellcat!

The WORST dealership I have ever worked with. The buying experience was ok but thats because our sales guy was good. However he quit right after he sold us our vehicle and other things that we needed never got taken care of. The parts and service dept are clueless and the sales manager cant return phone calls. They may sell you a vehicle but they dont follow through with their customers.
Went looking for a new vehicle. Salesman came out and answered some questions I had. He was not pushy like most are ie: trying to make a sale regardless.... So for the sales department... kudos..As for the service department I havent had to deal them with BUT I will say this... ANY dealership service dept. will be way overpriced and parts will be priced twice as bad. People think just cause the dealer is servicing the vehicle you will get A++ service and experience. Unless your vehicle is under warranty would/should be the only reason to let the dealership do the work. Like another comment about valve cover gaskets @120$ the same can be purchased at Auto*one or another for 20-30$ avg. There are some parts that are only available at the dealership and your forced to get from them ... People shouldnt be so foolish and should shop around. There are plenty of reputable mechanics out there who can do the same for half the price. The service dept does not mean better quality of parts or technicians. This is not just directed for here but for ANY dealership service dept. Take the time to educate yourself and quit being sheeple....my people.
This dealership has an honest, highly skilled service department, backed by an excellent parts department. That reflects the highest quality in a dealership, and speaks volumes about the owner: its great because the boss invests time and money to MAKE it great.I just bought a 4th car there, because I dont want to shop anywhere else.
After my car was totaled in an accident I submitted a website form about a Jeep Renegade. Adrienne called shortly after, quickly figured out what I needed and was interested in, then worked her tail off to help get me a deal an in the car that same day. It was a great buying experience. I went to service for a oil change and tire rotation. The representative was nice and friendly.
Adrienne Lombardo is the best salesperson they have! She will do anything and everything she can to get you into the vehicle you want within your budget. She is honest, and shell take every avenue to try to get you what you want. I wouldnt go to anyone else to buy a vehicle!
